Such a lovely home. I appreciate your respectful presentation, but please, always leave it as it was. I noticed you didn’t put the lid back on the box in the living room and you left closet doors open, didn’t completely close drawers. It seems small, but it matters. It’s kind of an unspoken rule among the best explorers. Other than that, thank you for showing us this beautiful home. So sad to see it abandoned when you can imagine it full of family, life…stay safe.
Lots of reproduction pieces, a few true antique pieces. Lots of stuff from the 20s-40s. What you were calling granite is actually marble. Interesting place.
I've seen this home on another channel a year ago. I'm glad to see no-one is messing it up. Someone must be cleaning it because there is no dust and cobwebs.
It is not inhabited. That is clear by the outside and there is a layer if dust if you look closely. The house itself is very solid. Won't take much to restore the grounds.
I HAVE SEEN THIS HOUSE TWICE. THE REASON WHY EVERYTHING IS LEFT ''AS IS', ' BECAUSE FAMILY ARE IN COURT FIGHTING FOR THEIR INHERITANCE. CHECK COURT FILES IT IS NOT HARD.
It’s amazing to me that it hasn’t been ransacked. It looks like someone spent the night in the master bedroom, the quilt was messed up. I presume that the estate must be tied up in the courts.
Many people don't want other peoples things because they have enough of their own stuff to worry about. I took very little from my parents home before it was sold.
I can understand why nobody in the family took any of that. That stuff is so expensive. The Craftsman in the wood and the dresser is everything. It's unbelievable. Everything's beautiful there
@@marlaandrews8344 most of the drawers I open in houses that I film I can open with one hand. I could not use two hands as I was filming and holding a flashlight. I think I will invest in a headlamp for next time. Thanks for watching
Ok folks! This is clearly a home tied up in probate. Also "abandoned" is just a word used by explorers to make them feel its ok to enter. (Bc no one is living there) All homes especially like this one IS owned by someone and its just not occupied. Its either left to someone or several people in the family that is fighting the Will. On another note....i think there should be EXPLORER RULES......IF YOU'RE NOT OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW WHAT SIMPLE EVERYDAY THINGS ARE, YOU SHOULDN'T BE EXPLORING IT! 🙄 No disrespect, but knitting was no where to be found in that dresser. Guessing who people are in photos........errgggg! Sorry but i had to vent. Beautiful home though! Thanks for the explore
I completely disagree, how else do you learn if you don't see and research. I fully appreciate seeing these young folks interested in history and wanting to learn.
The stories of these places are sad, Once they were full of life, Now only silence and what they left. I am curious as to why you just pass by things without saying anything, Like the first bedroom you went in, You didn't bother to look in the closet? Closets and what's in them say a lot about the people that were there. And then the big one, I just caught a glimpse of a door that had the glass broken out of it and was boarded up, That has a story, What happened and where does it lead to?
All I can think of is the life that was once there And it is not , this is so sad You can’t take money with you. Every thought that went into putting this house together. But couldn’t take these things with them But those were the days About having such things
The picture on the wall in the first living room of the bride that would be her daughter and the other one is her daughter and her. And yes it probably is the same dress. Just a little box to put things in beside the table. In this case they put nail things in it. The furniture that's in this home. Yes, it's old but that's why nobody wants it one. It's too heavy and two. It's too old and maybe the daughter doesn't want it. Maybe she lives out of town. Nobody knows the reasons for why people do what they do. Maybe they're still contemplating. You looked at the pictures on the wall and said oh there's fruits here and there's fruits there and then you said well it's a theme. Well yeah that would be a theme because it is a dining room after all. I think I'd rather want to see that than garbage on the wall. And you're looking at dried fruit on the little corner table and different flowers. They call that potpourri it actually if you mix it it smells good. Like a deodorizer. At the front door you're looking at two pictures, one of a little girl and one of a little boy. It might be the homeowners when they were younger cuz those are older pictures. The first bedroom that picture on the wall there. The little girl in white was probably the daughter when she was younger. The drawers of a unit will get stuck, especially if you're not using two hands to open it like you're supposed to. That's why there's two handles on it. The oil painting that's in the hall with the lady in the blue dress that is the owner of the home, the teachers as you're calling it.the blue flowers on the walls in the bathroom that is definitely '60s And yes the soaps that have fruit they are soaps and them are in the '70s. You're going into the master bedroom now And right off the Hop you can tell that it's only a woman living there at this point. The end tables are matching to the headboard and the clothes it's in a closet are all women's clothing, elderly women clothing. You repeated yourself when you said well. She might have made the two closets hers after she passed but you meant to say after he passed. The armor that's in the master bedroom. The cabinet that you opened and called a curio cabinet is called an armoire. And then you looked at a gray thing and said that was a walker but it's actually a commode. It's used to go to the bathroom. And by the sound of that little poem that you read about the teachers losing their class, it's probably because she retired in 1978. You kind of contradicted what you said by saying oh there must be a mouse problem but there's rat just like droppings all over. Those look like pictures of her when she was younger. The homeowner in the hallway after the kitchen. You're looking at an Asian style table type thing with figurines inside and then you go to a dresser next to the bed and you're looking at two more Asian vases dojos are a form of martial arts. And no, not a lot of the drawers are jammed. You need two hands to open the drawers. When you look in the closet of that room you look at the TV box and then you notice there's feathers and you say oh there's a bird. Yeah the thing probably died in the closet and freaked out. That's why there was feathers all over. He couldn't get out. Now you're in a family room /living room and that is not a small coffee table. That is actually a table where they would play games Like cards etc. And that is an antique sled. The giant key is supposed to be on the wall to hang your keys on.😂 Yeah when you go out that room you go into a utility room which is basically a mud room. That we're living here that is a wedding picture of her in the upper bedroom and that is the husband and wife and the child that lived in that home. Takes two hands to open up a addresser😂 it looks on the other side where you were looking at kids stuff. Somebody must be feeding an animal because there was two glass plates on the floor. Well, thank you very much for your exploration. That was kind of cool. I liked it.
Your subscribers can't be there with you so we count on you showing the things that are interesting, Stuff in drawers is part of that, Using one finger to barely pull on a knob and say oh it's to stuck and walk away is sad. This is old furniture and drawers are sliding on wood and not ballbearing slides like modern furniture so a little more effort is needed. Thanks for showing what you do show though. 😊
Sorry I couldn't get all the drawers open I am holding a large flashlight and phone to record. Lots of the drawers needed two hands. I need to invest in a headlamp for houses like these
I appreciate you responding, Shows character! so many others don't respond to the people that watch and support their channel if it has criticism in it. We look to you for as much info as you can find about why it was abandoned and leave no stone unturned when filming for us. Be better than other explorers and you will get the following your looking for. I look forward to future video's .
Remarkable no dust ! Somebody is keeping it up.

I agree with some others . This home is not abandoned. It is no dought in probate court.
nice video , those kinds of drawers need 2 hands to open ,,,to slide evenly !!
Someone is cleaning it. Doubt it is actually “abandoned”.
Something "off" with this explore. How did you enter? That bathroom looked recently cleaned.

Such a lovely well taken care of home! Unfortunate that there isn’t anyone who is cleaning it out and keeping the personal items.
It’s amazing to me that it hasn’t been ransacked. It looks like someone spent the night in the master bedroom, the quilt was messed up. I presume that the estate must be tied up in the courts.
Going live, awesome
Many people don't want other peoples things because they have enough of their own stuff to worry about. I took very little from my parents home before it was sold.
They didn't just leave it behind... They died, Big difference!
I can understand why nobody in the family took any of that. That stuff is so expensive. The Craftsman in the wood and the dresser is everything.

The drawers are not stuck. Long drawers that have a pull on each side need to be pulled by both pulls to slide evenly.

Is the backhoe clearing the brush abandoned too?
I wished I could buy it and restore it!!
French provincial and queen Ann furniture.
This house can't be too abandoned or abandoned for very long because there isn't any dust or cobwebs and the glass isn't dusty or hard to see through.
People make dust, when it's empty no dust particles are flying around.
I've got a mouse! I don't know why it stays! My dogs make it's life a living hell.
A Real Mansion, For sure a time capsule..........

I disagree as well. We have the ability to research these properties and determine who owns them and why they sit unoccupied which I often do.
Where is this
wow......its so beautiful ....does anyone own it ???? Is it for sale ??? what country is it in ???
USA
@PatrickFDolan thank you

It looks like the place is not dusty
Everything is to clean
Not abandoned. Did you break in?
They have to get permission
That's not a walker it's a portable crapper
You can crap while you walk.
@PatrickFDolan a shitty walker
