5:21 I've got the same frame you recommended a while back, Adam had one too. It's in two halves, it does single, double, dual (double+single), and dual (single+single). I've checked and it's 100% the right size for fast fix or metal, they are the same size.
Never thought of screwing through the yellow screw inserts when putting in 18mm mfc / MDF on fast fix boxes. Normally end up chopping abit out. Learn something new everyday mate 👍
I do like those BG sockets. I've got some of the ~35w USB-C ones in white and they'll power a macbook Air / low power macbook. What is the tool called that you use to scrape/smooth around when you've drilled a backbox Nick? I need one of those.
2:30 that's such a good idea! I usually try to do it with a Dremel but you just can't get the angle needed.
Receiver behind a downlight. Job done.
Switch is fed tho, not 3plated lights
DB isn't a terrible idea I suppose, at least you can find the damn thing 😂
Cable up to lights from fed switch, turn into a feed. Job done.
The back of the milwaukee multitool has a pull up lever to loosen the blade for tool free changing 😊

Nice video, I agree with others the no talking "real work" sections are an awesome touch!
I love the no taking prep work segments, bit different and good too pick up some tips 👍
Very nice, Just one thing though if spots damage the vapour barrier what about the cables feeding whatever light fitting is used🤔👍
Nice vid Nick. I’ve placed my last enerj module in the garage consumer unit all good … hopefully 🤞
Good video Nick.. and excellent engineering skills...!
Hindsight is a wonderful thing Nick but would a 1-gang dual at the switch position possibly simplify things.
So many think you just buy it , and it fits everthing , all the time , 1 box, 1 accessary , a miracle !!. BUT. that works on paper ....only
Armoured is xple… 90*C. T&E is 70*C. Neither should require heat sleeve
for 12:00 - could you use a Schneider Electric Lisse 1-Gang Spacer White ?
Crying out for a Sonoff WiFi switch for those outside lights
Another great video Nick
It worries me that you didn't spray the inside of the CU lid black. :-) Entertaining video as always.
