I was on "trust" house arrest, and i remember i had a piss test soon; but a guy in the crowd during ETID's set offered me some weed and i smoked with him and got almost the most stoned i've ever been and i went crowd-surfing. It was epic.

I remember Mike Novak from middle school. I believe he was the drummer in a band back then called counterstrike with Joe Painter and Chris Todaro RIP. I had their cassette tape album. I think they gave it to me. It was extremely heavy for a middle school band.
Actually in the beginning his goal was to be a wrestler. He suffered a knee injury and while recovering learned how to play guitar. Then he formed Every Time I Die and then later down the road continued to his wrestling career.
i was never able to decide who i liked more, ETID or Fight Paris! what i will say is that i saw ETID live once and they might have some of the best stage presence i’ve ever seen from any band playing a live show, that and they had the coolest light setup with huge, INSANELY bright strobes and equally powerful flood lamps that were synced to their performance. that show has stuck in my head for about 10 years now, because they seriously were THAT good.
