The drop on this is far more intense in the front row. It actually scared me. When I was going up I thought it didn’t feel any taller than Orion but once you get to the top and see Charlotte off in the distance none of the POVs I watched could prepare me for that moment. It felt like your dropping right over a cliff. Orion and Furys drops are by far my favorite they don’t even feel like coaster drops they feel like your dropping to your death. Fury is Orion’s final form on its layout but the drops are pretty identical.
I rode it in the front row at Scarowinds a month ago. It was on a Friday night where crowds were relatively light. Once I was at the station there was an open seat in the front and I was like “anyone sitting here?” And they were like “nope”. So I took it. It was just magical. So much force in that front seat. There was nothing like it, especially when we were going under that bridge with the lit-up hexagons. Amazing.
Orion and Fury’s drops feel like your going to hit the ground. They steepen so much faster than Millennium Forces drop does though when I’ve ridden Millennium it was coming over it’s hill really fast. Fury takes you up and gently drops you unlike Millennium and Intimidator 305. The rest of the ride feels like your surfing on a Magic Capet it’s really indescribable.
I think no other drop tops it except for El Toro in my personal opinion. Toro may not have as long of a drop, but it feels like it is genuinely trying to kill you.
There are just things that you have to look at with a critical eye and admire, but aren't your favorite. Like Fury 325 is just objectively such a well-crafted ride.
First time going to Carowinds I marathoned fury for the last few hours of the night, and I decided that my last ride of the night would be front row, cause I had been riding back all day. I got in line with some other enthusiasts and we didn’t try to get the double final ride where there would be enough room for us to ride again back to back cause we wanted front row. We get back to the station and everyone starts chanting “ONE MORE RIDE”. Us in the front row were like no way they aren’t gonna let us go again for no reason. But sure enough, they said alright and sent us again. We couldn’t believe it. We got an extra ride Becuase they just wanted us to be able to ride again. Double front row ride to end my first day at Carowinds was truly something special. That was the best crew I had ever seen and they gave me an unforgettable moment.
Fury is still the best B&M and is my 2nd favorite coaster ever. It’s just perfect. I honestly thought you were going to give it a 9.5 just to see if people freaked out.
I rode this when I was around 10, so I was never allowed to swear by my parents. However when me my dad and my brother (who was 12 at the time and also not allowed to swear) all crested the lift hill and stared down at the 320’ drop from the back row- all three of us simultaneously yelled out at the top of our lungs, “HOLY SHIIIIIIII-!!!!” after that we couldnt stop laughing until we got off. That day was the first day I got a headache from a ride, and no not from it being rough or too intense, but from laughing so damn much. Fury 325; what an incredible creation.
This has been my number 1 bucket list coaster for years now!! This ride looks insane and I just can’t imagine the sense of speed you feel and the wind in your ears in the front row.
I live here and have been riding it since it opened. I avoid the front car. I've been in the front two rows a few times and it is like sticking your head out of a car window at ninety-five mph. I had a difficult time holding my eyes open and it felt as if my eyelids were being pulled up (just a sensation of course). On a busy day the wait can be long, but the operators move things along by giving a ten-second countdown to unseat at the end and another countdown for the next group to be seated. The specs claim a max of 1200 people per hour, but they rarely hit that. One warning to visitors: no loose items in the wait line, which incudes backpacks. There is a person at the start of the line that will not let you pass if you have anything on you or in your hands. This includes the cups they sell. That is the reason for the pay lockers. Unlike many rides, there are no storage bins or area to drop things, because this slows down the boarding time. Have someone not riding watch your things.
Regarding the name and theme, it stems from Charlotte being nicknamed "Hornets' Nest;" a name it received during the American Revolution. The Charlotte Hornets' name and theme shares those same roots. :)
@@scottrohrbeck7672 that would be badass haha, the current color scheme is pretty dope but id love to see someone make a charlotte hornets version of fury 325 xD
I was actually terrified to ride this ride at first. While it's extremely pretty it's also terrifying to look at, took me most of the day to eventually say, screw it I need to ride this. It was honestly the best coaster I've been on. It's super smooth and just gives you an amazing thrill. Loved this ride and to anyone who hasn't ridden it, you need to!
Glad you conquered your fear of it, I always tell anyone who is intimidated by fury at first that they really need to just try it haha, it's like a drug!
I've visited Carowinds twice so far, both time Fury 325 was around. During my first visit in 2017 I was hooked. I rode it 9 times that day! Returned back in September 2021, also rode it several times. It's an amazing ride and definitely my favorite ride. Out of the 240+ coasters I've ridden. Great review as always by the way, thanks Taylor.
Hope it was great not sure if I'd care to do this now I'm older but I did have seasons pass at Canada's wonderland for a few yrs as I lived close I would go during the week on Mondays teus or wed's and ride with not many lineups 😂😂 🍻
I have this as my 3rd favorite coaster. That first drop though is my all time favorite. Front is great but in the last row it’s more than great, it’s heavenly! Whipped over into the most blissful airtime I’ve ever experienced. It’s the closest to actual flight I’ve ever experienced. It feels like a living dream. As someone who’s scared of heights this ride shocked me at how much pure joy I felt the first time on that drop! My arms were instantly up in the air the second it began. All fear drained away and I was in nirvana! It is my favorite single element easily. The rest is great except for a breather on that last turn around but that drop, it’s untouchable! This being my home park is a blessing!
I live here in York county home of Carowinds. It's where I fell in love with Roller Coasters. Back in the day with the dual track out and back wooden Thunder Road where the trains raced, one forward facing and the other backward facing. Thank you for making this video. Pointing out all the things that make Fury a world class experience for casual riders up through coaster aficionados. And yes that first drop feels like you're freefalling forever.
That trim brake is my favorite part of the rid. Slowing down just a little bit to get some insane airtime was easily my favorite part of the ride, even if it does slow down the end a little bit.
That trim break is absolutely necessary! I rode it in the front row back in August and it felt like we were going to fly out the seats it was so much ejector 😆😆
I-305’s drop feels much shorter because of a number of reasons. The main reason is the cable lift of I-305. Since it’s already going fast up the hill, you take the drop very quickly. And coupled with the fact that I-305’s crest is very small it feels like you just get thrown over almost rather than slowly creating the lift hill like Fury does.
I have ridden this coaster 72 times since its debut in 2015. It is by far the best in the world in my opinion. How did I ride it 72 times you ask? I always buy the fast pass bracelets. Buy the season pass, you're already in the park, then buy fast pass so you can ride all day and night. Carowinds opens at 10am and closes at 10pm.
I have nothing bad to say. I live about an hour and a half away from Carowinds, and go at least 10 times a season. Never go without riding Fury. It has remained my favorite coaster ever since my first ride on it. I have now ridden Fury over 150 times alone. It truly is something else.
Rode this in 2017 and 2019 and I completely agree with everything you said, even after I ride more and more coasters it will pretty much always remain in my Top 5.
So much love for Fury! Feel very privileged to be able to ride this about any time I like living in Charlotte. Grew up going to King Dominion but just once a year. I want to do a park tour of kings Island, Cedar Point and kings Dominion in the near future.
Hi 👋🏿, I'm Jaharah rollercoaster enthusiast too! So I Took the girls on vacation to Carowinds for Labour day weekend and yes I agree defintely a great ride however I ended up liking intimidater more for some reason. My all time favourite rollercoaster is at Busch Gardens its called the Verbolten. If you haven't had the chance to ride it i guarantee you... you will not be disappointed. We are most defintely amusement park enthusiasts and we travel far and wide ...just to ride. Lol. Did not know this channel existed. I will subscribe. Thanks Google for the recommendation. 😀 Take Care Copper head was wildly over rated also night hawk. A better ride was Woodstock in snoopy land also most underrated ride at carowinds is Afterburn. If anyone is reading this and is on the fence about fast lane bracelets get them. They're absolutely worthwhile.
I'm a big fan of roller coasters, but due to my location in the US, I've not had many chances to ride the big name rides. But I was lucky enough to have a chance to go to Carowinds, and I got to ride this beautiful ride. Absolutely gorgeous color scheming and theming. Ride is fast and smooth. I rode it 2 times and loved it both times. Carowinds has a very solid lineup of rides. I did get a bit sick after Afterburn, and had to call it a day a bit earlier than I'd prefer, but I can say the fast-lane was so worth it to be able to ride all the coasters at the park in the one day I had available to go. (I was out there training for my CDL and had planned to go with a fellow trainee, thought I'd have 2 days, Friday after classes and on Saturday, and I'd fly out on Sunday but they scheduled a flight to Philadelphia from Charlotte that Saturday instead, so I only got that Friday after class.)
Absolutely the best! Drove 12hrs all the way from Canada in May 2015 just to ride it. Wonderland is my home park and even though I love Leviathan, Fury blows it away! Can’t wait to go back!!
Fury truly is a one of a kind attraction. It doesn't have the strongest positives or airtime or whip but it has some of the strongest on a B&M Hyper and it's all one this 1 coaster. It truly mind blowing how good it is. The floaty sensations on not just he drops but the turns is unlike the other hypers and gigas.
Fury is just amazing, at my home park too and I’ve ridden so many times and it always seems to just get better, if you find yourself within 5 hours away go ahead and head over and ride it
This coaster is my favorite. Rode it for the 1st time last week at Scarowinds. Rode as the sun was setting and the coaster was light up. Amazing experience. Going back this weekend. Can't wait.
In terms of your comment on how we may never see something like this again. I do agree with that as well, however, there is a new rumor starting to go around that Knott's may have a record breaking B&M giga in the works for 2023. However, it's from screamscape and there have been a million Knott's giga rumors in the past so I take that with a grain of salt. I definitely think the odds of a Fury like ride being built again are lower since KI already got their giga and the park opted for the Leviathan like layout instead of a low to the ground layout and KI was one of the few parks that had the space and funds for a ride like that and they chose the more up and down type ride. However, Orion is a good ride regardless and very few parks get those types of rides so I'm not complaining.
Not only is there a great view at the top of Charlotte but there have been plenty of time where I’ve been on the highway near Charlotte and seen the fury. For me that’s about as welcoming as the Statue of Liberty welcoming in people to New York. Who would want an absolutely monstrous incredible roller coaster to be one of the first things in their eyeline?
I rode this coaster for the first time in 2019. When we walked up to the gate and Fury flew over the walkway, my first thought was, "holy crap, that thing is hauling". I have to admit I was looking to be let down, but I saw immediately the POVs didn't do Fury any justice. It's not my number 1(Steel V has that title), but it's definitely my number 2 just ahead of El Toro. Love this coaster. Best B&M coaster, PERIOD!
I rode this in August, and I loved it! It was the best roller coaster I’d ever been on, and even though it was terrifying, I’m going again in December!
With the exception of 2020....Ive made sure to find a way to get to Carowinds each year since 2017. Pit stop while driving, a layover, because this ride is truly perfect. From crest to break it's brilliant! What really got me was the speed. Like yeah I knew it was fast but the 1-2-3 turn complex blew my mind. It's already hauling and at one point you dive down and it picks up even more speed, I struggle to keep my eyes open. It really is unlike any other B&M
Very happy to see you revisiting some of your old rides. Your stuff is way better now so the added insight really helps. One of my favorite rides of all time, too!
Rode Fury325 for the first time @ Scarowinds. Sun was setting so the sky was pink & orange. Coaster was lit up green. What an amazing experience. Lucky my brother bought pictures of us riding. Rode it again this past weekend up front had tears running down my face after that first drop. 10/10 perfect coaster lucky it is in my home park 3 hours away.
Fury is intoxicating. I don’t know anyone that can just do it once. It might be my all-time favorite, I don’t know, but I do know it is objectively the BEST ride I’ve been on.
In July 2018 I rode Fury 325 during my first visit to Carowinds. Carowinds was part of a mini southern coaster trip. I also visited Kings Dominion for the first time and Busch Gardens Williamsburg for the second time. It was a milestone coaster as it was my 100th credit. I rode it as my second to last coaster with Kiddy Hawk the last, as going into my visit, I was sitting at 89 credits and wanted to save Fury as my 100th coaster. Fury is indeed a perfect coaster. It's got height, speed, and the airtime package (floater, ejector, and flojector). Fury is ranked 2nd on my all time coasters list after Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point and first at Carowinds.
7:46 oh my god that is so true, when I rode this at Scarowinds a month ago, when we were at that point I was like so sure I was gonna crash into that. Only further adds to the intensity
Rode Fury this summer for the first time. 3rd giga in North America I’ve ridden, and it’s no doubt the best out of the ones I’ve been on. Fury has already pretty much secured its spot as #2 on my coaster list, right behind STVE
I rode Fury for the first time Oct 17th of this year and was blown away. I am conflicted with my top 2 because I like more of what Copperhead Strike does but the more and more I think about Fury and especially it’s initial drop... it’s just zen! It might take first place, at least tie for first. Side note, that trim hit and hit hard EVERY ride, 9 times that day. Felt like the train stopped on that hill. Those last 3 airtime hills would be so much better on days it doesn’t trim.
Although I haven't ridden many coasters, Fury is my favorite roller coaster of all time. It is really long, has a wide variety of awesome elements, and some great airtime even in spots you wouldn't suspect. I have many parks I have yet to visit, but Fury is currently top dog for me.
I've ridden Fury once, its pretty scary for someone new to roller coasters, but every time I go to Carowinds I always have to admire it at night, the bright neon green stripe on the lift hill is gorgeous at night!
Nice review. I went to Carowinds last weekend/ Memorial Day weekend and this is my NEW #1 coaster. I rode it 46X without using the Fast Pass. 4X on Saturday, 35x on Sunday and 7x on Memorial Day. The lines weren’t not too bad. I even had opportunities to stay on it for a few runs. I will be going back to Carowinds next months. Copperhead Strike was also an awesome ride, 3x. Fury 325 is a must ride.
When I went in August, they were running 2 trains and there was a time where they were running one train. It wasn't crowded at all, but as someone who Orion is in his backyard and they always run 3 trains regardless of crowds, that kinda annoyed me since I probably would've gotten a lot more rides on it if they were running all 3. However, I was lucky to get 18 total rides on it in one day with Fast Lane, but because of the low crowds, fast lane wasn't totally needed. I was a little disappointed in the crew's energy though. Someone who works at KI and goes to KI alot knows how energetic our ride crews can be especially with getting people pumped up to ride. On Fury, the person on the mic was just saying "enjoy your ride" and "you're out of here make some noise" in a kinda dead voice.
18 rides????? damn bro i’m sorry you couldn’t get more, even tho 18 rides is literally too much. anyways, sorry your visit wasn’t up to par. come back next year and maybe it’s better!
Nothing better than Fury's first drop in the back row when they haven't stapled you with the clamshell. Put your arms up and you basically feel like you've been thrown off a skyscraper!
I’m a current full time ride operator at Vortex at Carowinds and I know rides pretty well plus I have a decent knowledge in music and just letting you know a treble clef is not a note it’s actually a tool to help musicians to play at a certain pitch.
The smart thing is to head right for Nighthawk to get the shortest line but yeah, it's Fury 325! Forget logic and just ride this coaster all day long 😁
Yeah, Nighthawk then Copperhead Strike. If you want to ride ricochet do that 3rd. Get those out of the way first. The rest of the rides are pretty good as far as lines go.
Nighthawk wasn’t very fun to be quite honest. The day I went it was SUPER empty and that’s the only line I had to wait almost an hour for and it sucked. Definitely don’t go on nighthawk if it’s a big line.
@@roniburriss2683 Nighthawk is one of those rides that some like and some hate. I actually like the ride myself. It is shaky through the corkscrew but that actually adds to the character of the ride to me. Every time I go through that part, it makes me laugh.
Due to weather i unfortunately only got 1 ride. And it was my first visit to Carowinds so i wanted get all the credits. Afterburn was closed the whole weekend for maintenance. There was a massive storm that lasted for like 3 hours straight. Fury was struck by lightning so on day 2 it was closed the whole day. And it was 95 degrees 98% humidity
Of the 399 I have been on it is #2 behind Steel Vengeance for me. My sister and I were there on season pass holder preview night it’s very first Friday in 2015 and waited 4 hours. I remember how cold it was but it was obviously worth it. I have gone a few times to Carowinds since with around 60 rides on it and still is #2 for me.
I had nothing but praise for it when I rode it in 2016 and 19 but I rode it this past summer and had a really bad ride that gave me and a good chunk of people in my group a bad headache
I just got my first rides on Fury 325 a couple of days ago, have never been on a coaster that intense before. After most of my previous credits were in Disney Parks and the PNW parks with their relatively tame coasters, Fury 325 certainly feels like being thrown into the deep end, but as long as you can handle the first drop (I don't know why Carowinds bothers with a drop tower when they have Fury and Thunder Striker) I'm pretty sure you can handle pretty much any coaster you might come across.
I visited Carowinds twice. I rode all the rides except the Fury 325. I walked to that front entrance and saw that first big hill and I was really scared. I rode the other rollercoaster The Intimidator and that was a little scary but fun. One day I will come back to Charlotte and visit Carowinds and ride The Fury.
I rode this while on shrooms at night. It was a profoundly unbelievable experience. As a black girl coaster enthusiast, I rode this( front row) and I felt like my soul went to a parallel universe, I thought I was drifting into darkness of space at million mph, I had my arms up and embraced it.After the ride was over I though I was a white boy and I felt like I landed in another reality for the entire night. When we got back to the hotel near Carowinds I literally was walking around the area in subconscious trance all night I was up till like the following evening. I basically didn't fall asleep till the very next night. it took me days to finally figure out who I was. It was indescribable.
I've known ppl to be on substances for rides and concerts. I am not 1 of those ppl. Rarely but at most weed, & alcohol. Mostly alcohol. Tho I haven't touched alcohol (wine) in a yr & I dont remember at all when the last time I ever smoked weed was. I only remember eating a Gummi at least 7 mths ago, idk. Prob not even important but me thinking I'm a good encouraging wifey: it's only your 2nd time to ride all these rides & you're doing less screaming 🤗. My hubby: that's bc I passed out a couple of times... me: oh. ...shut up, no u didn't? (Gah I should prob look over at him every once in awhile. Bc im always off in my own weeee world) him:... 🤷🏻♀️
I 100% agree with u this is my fav coaster every I literally can’t get enough of it and I’ve done millennium force and I thought it was good too but I think fury is better
I kinda knew what to expect going in but the only ride I had that day was absolutely insane. It was raining and they had just been cleared for lightning so there was thunder all around at the top of the hill. I was in the back row and the rain was pelting me in the face all the way through to the treble clef and I couldn't see a damn thing. Then the kid next to me blacked out on my lap twice during the second half. Not greyed out like...out cold blacked out. TWICE! Maybe the airtime wasn't killer like Diamondback, but it was the craziest roller coaster ride I have EVER experienced. Definitely my number 3 overall.
Great ride. Currently my #5 out of over 350 credits. Not my #1 but I can see how it would be someone's #1. I got a lot of rides on it this year. Wish it was open for their Christmas event. Very nice review!
For my daughter's tenth birthday, she wanted to ride a roller coaster - we rode Fury first, in the front seat - and she's been hooked on coasters ever since. Go big, or go home, right?
"There's a support on the helix where it feels like you could reach out and touch it" Normal People: *Move their hands out of the way* Taylor: *"I try to whack it every single time"*
Got to ride it this year, this ride is absolute perfection there is literally not one bad element on it. Still below I305 because I like intensity but Fury is in my top 5
Im literally are just leaving Carowinds and the coats flapping at light speed, sound like a wasps buzzzz sound, when they flap their wings a lot, really added to my experience, and the Christmas lights around me to
I got to go to Carowinds on a rainy day in 2019 resulting in very very light crowds. Me and my family got in 3 rides on fury in about 20 min. Really fun coaster. The rain did kinda hurt though…
I LIVE IN DURHAM/RALEIGH NC SO IM 3HRS AWAY FROM BOTH PARKS AND BUSCH AS WELL. I LOVE FURY BUT I LOVE THRILLS MORE. I SAY 305 IS THE PERFECT COASTR BUT NOT MY #1 AS WELL. YOURE SPOT ON WITH YOUR ANALYSIS
When I was first riding this I had to put my seat belt on and just close my eyes but when I got to the top I opened them and it is now my favorite coster
Easily one of the best coasters ever (I'm still claiming SteVe as the best). If it wasn't a 10 hour drive from home I would go ride this every year. The park itself leaves a little to be desired, but Fury is a world class coaster that I could see everyone being a fan of. If you haven't ridden her yet, you absolutely should
I think Carowinds in the the elite of Cedar Fair at this point. The theming has been greatly improved in the park too. The food is among the best of the Amusement parks. Fury 325, Intimidator, Copperhead Strike and Afterburn is a pretty strong top 4. I would like to see a wood RMC, Hurler RMC conversion or Intamin prefab next. After that, the park will be among the top tier in the world.
@@gametime2473 My opinion of Cariwinds is based on a pre-copperhead strike trip I took literally weeks before CS was announced. I found their Flying Dutcmen wasnt as good as Firehawk, their Arrow Looper not as good as Kings Dominion's. Hurler was a forgettable out and back woodie, boomerangs are throw away coasters to me, mine train coasters don't do much for me and ugh their Stand-up was a dreadful experience despite its horribly short ride time. I'm not saying it's a bad park, but at a 9 hour drive from my house I can't classify it as must do for me. If I lived as close to it as I do to Cedar Point and Kings Island I would probably rank it higher. It is definitely in the higher tier of CF parks tho. I can respect your ranking of it.
I love how this ride looks and I went to ride it but I hate the stomach feeling on drops and went to know if you get that except for airtime though I kinda like that.
I've yet to ride Fury 325 unfortunatley, but it looks incredible. and while I doubt it'll be my favourite B&M, as I'm an avid positives enjoyer, so something like Flying Dinosaur, Tatsu, Pyrenees, Montu ect all seem like B&Ms that'd appeal to me more personally, and i305 looks like it'd be my giga of choice - nethertheless the ride looks truly incredible and one of the best out there. Also, the footage used in this video looked gorgeous.
I read somewhere it's like the heavens open up an angels sing every time you dispatch...So right in the middle of holiwood nights I decided we were going to find out. Drove all the way out there and the verdict: it's like the heavens open up a choir of angels sing every time you dispatch.
I love how you called a treble clef a music note, its like a gp moment for non musicians
As someone in marching band, it annoyed me a lot
Oof now imagine a bass cleff element .
i play cello and i cringed so hard lmao
it causes me agony every time its called a note

The drop on this is far more intense in the front row. It actually scared me. When I was going up I thought it didn’t feel any taller than Orion but once you get to the top and see Charlotte off in the distance none of the POVs I watched could prepare me for that moment. It felt like your dropping right over a cliff. Orion and Furys drops are by far my favorite they don’t even feel like coaster drops they feel like your dropping to your death.
I wish you so Americans could ride leviathan it is so similar to orion which I have rode 4 times
I think no other drop tops it except for El Toro in my personal opinion. Toro may not have as long of a drop, but it feels like it is genuinely trying to kill you.
I felt like this ride was completely different in the front row, and I’m a huge fan! The wind in your face is such a game changer

I rode this while I was high and it was a wonderful experience.
I got like 7 rides on this in July. I just couldn't get enough.
This has been my number 1 bucket list coaster for years now!! This ride looks insane and I just can’t imagine the sense of speed you feel and the wind in your ears in the front row.
Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!!!
Same here, but when i went to carowinds, the support beam racked the day before
Regarding the name and theme, it stems from Charlotte being nicknamed "Hornets' Nest;" a name it received during the American Revolution. The Charlotte Hornets' name and theme shares those same roots. :)
If only it WAS themed to the NBA team, though... 😅
Glad you conquered your fear of it, I always tell anyone who is intimidated by fury at first that they really need to just try it haha, it's like a drug!
this was me! i was about to have a panic attack when we were going up the hill, but when it dropped i just knew it would be my favorite
I’m going to Carowinds in a few weeks and I’m so so so so so excited to ride Fury 325!
I think it also levels out faster but I’m not sure I’m just heard that for somewhere
Love that I live in Greenville SC, so close to Carowinds...I have ridden Fury 325 numerous times; it really is such an amazing coaster.
😀 Take Care
Copper head was wildly over rated also night hawk.
I got to ride Fury 325 for the first time back in July, and it was running like a dream. I absolutely live it to bits!
True
Rode Fury this summer for the first time. 3rd giga in North America I’ve ridden, and it’s no doubt the best out of the ones I’ve been on. Fury has already pretty much secured its spot as #2 on my coaster list, right behind STVE
Gonna be going to Carowinds for the first time this summer. Can't wait to ride this!
But it was still a walk on tho
18 rides????? damn bro i’m sorry you couldn’t get more, even tho 18 rides is literally too much. anyways, sorry your visit wasn’t up to par. come back next year and maybe it’s better!
@@johnstryska9602 I really enjoyed my visit. Nowhere did I say I didn't enjoy my visit. I really look forward to returning one day.
Nothing better than Fury's first drop in the back row when they haven't stapled you with the clamshell. Put your arms up and you basically feel like you've been thrown off a skyscraper!
This is my #1 roller coaster. It’s tall, fast, smooth, relentless, and amazing.
My favorite coaster. I've ridden it 105 times so far. I was there first day and got my first rider t shirt.
I’m a current full time ride operator at Vortex at Carowinds and I know rides pretty well plus I have a decent knowledge in music and just letting you know a treble clef is not a note it’s actually a tool to help musicians to play at a certain pitch.
A perfect 10! This is our favorite with Velocicoaster #2.
YES the reviews are back!!
I’m glad you’re reviewing fury 325 again
Yeah because the last time he reviewed this ride it was the early days of his channel
I've been working at Carowinds for a couple months now. And this has to be the top ride in the park and in the Carolinas.
I love how he’s redoing all his old reviews
My top 7 giga coasters:
1) Fury 325
2) Millennium Force
3) Orion
4) Leviathan
5) Steel Dragon 2000
6) Intimidator 305
7) Red Force
I’ve never ridden this but I would love to ride it!!! It looks like a very smooth and fast ride!
This coaster is absolutely beautiful especially with the colors this is actually my favorite colors on a coaster
I had nothing but praise for it when I rode it in 2016 and 19 but I rode it this past summer and had a really bad ride that gave me and a good chunk of people in my group a bad headache
I just got my first rides on Fury 325 a couple of days ago, have never been on a coaster that intense before. After most of my previous credits were in Disney Parks and the PNW parks with their relatively tame coasters, Fury 325 certainly feels like being thrown into the deep end, but as long as you can handle the first drop (I don't know why Carowinds bothers with a drop tower when they have Fury and Thunder Striker) I'm pretty sure you can handle pretty much any coaster you might come across.
the drop feels like its never gonna end

There won't be any drug abusers in heaven. God calls you a sorcerer and the penalty is death. Good luck.
@@Manbunmen65 I thought all sins were equal?
If you don't sin then Jesus died for nothing
It's my number 1. Rode it 11 times in a day and a half a few years ago
Best in the world. Love this review so much!
Great ride. Currently my #5 out of over 350 credits. Not my #1 but I can see how it would be someone's #1. I got a lot of rides on it this year. Wish it was open for their Christmas event. Very nice review!
You are right. This is not a typical BM I had to double check to see while build this
One of my bucket list coasters
Trying to convince my boyfriend to take a vacation to the Carolinas this summer so we can make a pit stop here!
For my daughter's tenth birthday, she wanted to ride a roller coaster - we rode Fury first, in the front seat - and she's been hooked on coasters ever since. Go big, or go home, right?
i freaking love this coaster, im glad that carowinds is my home park
Sometimes if you’re lucky when you ride it you can see planes below you. Because the Charlotte airport is nearby.
I was scared out of my mind when i rode it, now i wanna ride it again lol, truly amazing
"There's a support on the helix where it feels like you could reach out and touch it"
Normal People: *Move their hands out of the way*
Taylor: *"I try to whack it every single time"*
Got to ride it this year, this ride is absolute perfection there is literally not one bad element on it. Still below I305 because I like intensity but Fury is in my top 5
South Carolina: we needed something new
North Carolina: we got you covered
Fury 325 stole my number 1 spot, which was previously held by Skyrush for 9 years.
Fury 325 is my favorite rollercoaster. And there's nothing compared to riding it at night. It definitely rides faster.
Love the review and it's my home park!
YOURE SPOT ON WITH YOUR ANALYSIS
fury 325 is my number one coaster of all time, the drop is amazing, and I duck every time on that head chopper moment in the helix
1:09 that repaint of intimator looks nice.
Im so glad you are rereviewing it. The old one was sooo cringy lol
When I was first riding this I had to put my seat belt on and just close my eyes but when I got to the top I opened them and it is now my favorite coster
When I went in July this year it was actually running two but still had at most a thirty minute wait
I rode fury at night for the first time in October and my god it was the best experience ever especially because I was put in the front row
Gotta admit that intimadator repaint looks good along the skyline
Question!
Would this ride have needed planning permission from both states?
It gets cheaper tax
I read somewhere it's like the heavens open up an angels sing every time you dispatch...So right in the middle of holiwood nights I decided we were going to find out. Drove all the way out there and the verdict: it's like the heavens open up a choir of angels sing every time you dispatch.
i adore this Coaster
Fury 325 is still my #1 coaster to this day.
