Not a cold chance in hell this be 1rst time any of them are hearing this song. Maybe didnt know which band, but its total bs this is first listen. Yea, you're 100% wrong. He was murdered because he was making a documentary about child trafficking with Chris Cornell and they killed the both of them.
Seeing a groupe of people who discovered Linkin park not so long ago making other people listening to LP for the first time is priceless. Thank you for that and thank you for Chester
Chester was one of the only celebrities that I actually cried when he passed. He helped me get through a lot of depression prior to being properly diagnosed. 💜💜 and their music helped me when I got sober. Will have 16yrs on Saturday. Thank you Linkin Park, thank you Chester
@AMSWingsOfLiberty I agree with you, but I don't know, when it comes to certain artists like Linkin Park and others, I tend to be doubtful, but of course it's not impossible that they haven't listened to it before
I'm not into this "noisy music" back when I was a kid, but when I heard this for the first time...that piano, the rap, the rhyme, the rhythm I loved it right off the bat.
Chester's Vocals just pull you in even when he is doing backing vocals. The power and emotion in all of his vocals are insane. He is by far my favourite vocalist of all time.
I'm 59. My teenage son (soon to be 29) introduced me to this band oh, so long ago. Glad to see more young people who are willing to expand their music experience.
This song is what turned me on to Linkin Park many moons ago. I loved the weaving together of Mike's rap and Chester's vocals. RIP Chester Bennington 😢
Listen, I know it's weird to think there are people in the world who missed LP and others in their heyday, but remember that SR skew younger AND if they avoided that genre of music/weren't exposed to it, then they would have missed many good bands the same way you and I do when we avoid genres we're not fond of.
You all have been missing out. He was one of the best. He helped a lot of depressed people from our generation but sadly no one could do it for him. You should react to more of their songs.
The guy rapping is named Mike Shinoda. Mike Shinoda released a hip-hop ep and album in 2005 under the name Fort Minor. He also released a solo album under his own name called Post Traumatic in 2018. Chester Bennington (blonde) had the voice of an angel and the scream of a demon. His vocal range actually could have rivaled the late Freddie Mercury. Chester could sing any song he wanted to. He had his own band separate from Linkin Park called Dead By Sunrise. Dead by Sunrise released 1 album called Out of Ashes in 2009. In 2017 Chester passed away from suicide on July 20 2017 just 2 months after Chris Cornell passed away from suicide as well. Chris Cornell passed away on May 18, 2017 the day before Linkin Park released wjat would be their final studio album One More.
They didn't commit suicide. They were writing a book, along with Aviici & others, that was gonna reveal the names of the Hollywood pedophiles. Before they called themselves Linkin Park, they were called Xero. They were on Star Search back in the day. I watched those episodes back then. That's how I discovered them & fell in love with their music at that point.

I really hope you check out more some time, thank you for reacting to this ❤ Regarding the music video, I do think the whale, and the other visuals used here, are mostly an aesthetic choice.
