I don't know why but I miss the old cartoony anime style. And heck, I thought Ralph Baskhi and John K were the first guys that changed animation, but this one was actually the real changer. He already brought in the most wildest cartoony style that every comedy cartoon would bring in during the late 80s, 90s and early-to-mid 2000s.
Actually, first one was Rod Scribner. John. K and Bakshi just modernised his style. As for Daizou Tekeuchi...I'm not sure if was inspired by Scribner, but there's definetely something common between these 2 cartoonists in drawing characters emotions and facial expressions...
I come from the master jing and the six kingdoms.... says it was out or due 2016... it is 2017... any idea where I could find and watch the full movie??

its nice to see that japan picked up "cartoony" animation after the americans stopped. great stuff!
Well, DFE was the only studio that continued that trend up until 1977 when their animation budget got cheaper.

Yes he didn't use any easing in his animation, neither did many other 60s Japanese animators.
