I'd put a TV over the fireplace and face my couch in front of it. Put a big farmhouse table where the bar is. Creates a better traffic flow around the bar stools and food during holidays.

I wanted to say the same thing. I really think it's important to just move in and live in it for three or four months. Have a pen and pad a paper, and as you live in, it jot down the things that drive you crazy that needs to change. Then, when you go into the remodel stage, you will see exactly what you want and don't want.
When we bought our first home of 690 square feet with two children, a boy at 5 years and a girl at 4, we had to be very creative. It was fun and frustrating at the same time, but we managed. We ended up putting an addition on which allowed us to make a third bedroom. We still live in that home today. So many memories. And today, I'm headed to a seasonal camping spot where I'm going to do some real tiny living in 176 Square feet of space!
For the bumble bees, here in Florida we call them carpenter bees, they pretty much keep to themselves but they will bore perfectly round 3/8" holes in bare wood to raise their little ones. As long as you leave them alone they will fly all around you. They are inquisitive. Anyway we love seeing you new home. Congrats and as fellow RVers we agree with you on how manufacturers need to revamp their manufacturing processes. If we lived closer I would come out and help or keep Phil company in a chair.😅

The Bumbble bee is Grandpa who used to sit in that back shed! He's keeping an eye on everything ❤❤❤. I also think as mom's we are always worried about the kids ...mine are all grown and I wish I had been less worried...less stress more joy ❤❤❤❤

I believe most of us following you either have, have had, or just love kids so we are very familiar with how things work with kids are around. Myself, I have 7n kids and now 16 grandkids so don't even worry about it. We all love seeing the kids grow with all the new adventures. We Love you!
Get a glass cuter at Lowe’s or Home Depot. Google which side to score and cut in smaller pieces that fit in your bin.
If not broke, put it in your daughter’s room or somewhere they can watch themselves dance.

If I heard you right on the loft for the girls and the bed under, you may want to rethink that. They will grow all too quickly and that headroom will get really low quickly. Also, as mama, it's going to get old really quick when you have to crawl under to fix the beds, esp when one gets sick and throws up on the sheets at 2 AM.
This is my hesitation with the bed they picked!

Its not a bumble bee. Its a carpenter bee. They are harmless...never had one sting me. They like to watch people, and occasionally you can get them to play with you. My kids hold out their hands, and move their hands up and down, side to side, and the Carpenter bee would follow their hands and hover just above. They do like to burrow into wood. They make nickle sized holes for nest. Some people use carpenter bee traps to kill them. 😢 I have never had any ruin any wood work at my house...they tend to use the same holes every year. I have about 4 holes in my deck. They won't touch painted/stained/treated wood.

Kevin we had an XMark 52 in. cut, used it for 14 years and then bought a 60 in. cut XMark. Love it, and the old one is still going, neighbor bought it! We cut about 5 acres of grass weekly. Your place is going to be great, love all the quiet space. I know y’all will enjoy it. Wait till all the leaves start to fall in the fall! You and your leaf blower will be working overtime, but the trees and shade are worth it. Love y’all.

I like the idea of the round dinner table so everyone can see each other. That and the buffet seem like a great idea. For Kaden, if he had a smaller bed he would have more room for toys, and later a study desk, the girls room is tough since those beds are so big. Don't worry about the kids I think we all realize about that interaction! It's awesome they are entertaining themselves. It's making me think of my Momma the drill sergeant ha ha. Alecia, Kevin seems like a really good Dad but I'll wager that in addition to everything else a good percentage of your mind is always thinking about where they are, what they're doing etc. so it's no wonder you feel exhausted trying to do so many things in one day. Y'all really knocked it out in that garage area. Impressive! That spider. Maybe you need to set off bug bombs in both buildings. Ha ha we're team weed eater and double oven too.
I'm thinking round or oval, but haven't found the perfect table for us yet! We need extra storage, not for dishes, but for toys, crafts, etc. so I think a buffet would be great! We keep Kevin in the loop when he has to be at work, but you're right, he'd rather be there helping us! I couldn't have done half of what we did without my Mom's help! She's unstoppable! We will definitely be putting out bug spray after we get everything cleaned up!

leave the oven the way it is. once you have all stainless installed in the space, it will blend in. there will be black on the other stainless pieces. just my opinion.

Yes yes buy quality. The first time I saw that pole saw I said to myself I’d last five minutes holding that up. I have one of those people who don’t want to throw anything away and so I go behind them throwing stuff away.

Some manufacturers offer a stainless steel option at the time of purchase, and if they do, you might be able to order replacement pieces in stainless!

It would be cool if the bee was a remote video camera! We get tired holding the camera! Lol! The kids are growing up so fast! It's truly amazing how fast it happens! Although the videos make it seem like a lot of time has passed between videos, it's only been a few days. There are two meters and some things had to be verified on them before we could have the electric turned on!

I have a 54” bad boy I bought it brand new 6 years ago and have never had any problems with it EVER if you keep up on the maintenance they run for ever but anything will run way longer you keep the maintenance up on it I love my BAD BOY I have a 1400 pound utility cart I tow behind it for logs when I have to get wood for winter yes bad boys are bad ass

Kevin and family. Mowers.. I bought a bad boy commercial grade, with a kawasaki engine 28hp.. it has smooth ride suspension.. 4 yrs . Not one problem.. I had tried different models , found this was a best choice. Only in commercial grade..

Kevin think about getting solar panels, that will definitely help your electrical bill during the summer when it's really hot and you're running the air a lot. And if you do decide on solar panels make sure you get a back up battery, because if your power ever goes out the battery will kick in.
A house a few doors down from us has solar, so we just may in the future.
The female carpenter bee can sting, but they aren’t aggressive. They will put holes in wood eaves and anything else that is wood. They can be trapped. Great videos….

I use a Toro Time Cutter 54" zero turn for my 5 acres. It's what I could afford, and it does the job. It does take some time to mow for sure. 😂😂
If you're happy, that's all that matters! We had a slow mower compared to our neighbors at the lake, and they would all finish mowing, then watch Kevin take another 2 hours to mow while drinking beers on our neighbors back porch! Ha!
