What time of day do you prefer to read the Bible? Typically, I prefer to read it in the morning because it puts me in the best mindset to start the day-in step with the Spirit. But in this season, I’m honestly just doing it when I can. Sometimes in the morning, sometimes during nap time, sometimes at night, sometimes in a random pocket throughout the day. 😊
I like reading mine first thing in the morning. Lately I've been kind of bad about spending too little time in the Word before I have to get to college. But I like at least getting a chapter or a devotional in so that I feel better equipped to go out into the world.
I prefer to read my Bible first thing in the morning for about 20 to 30 minutes and then again in the afternoon for the same amount of time. I do it again in the afternoon because that is when I finish my schoolwork for the day and I want to make sure that I take some of that time that I would relax my body to also relax spiritually by studying Gods word. Amazing video!
I prefer to read my Bible in the morning, it sets me up for the day, but sometimes on a busy day I will use an app to listen to my Bible while I’m traveling on a bus or train.
Listening is a very good thing. I find reading Bible in the morning challenging as I am clearly not ready for the day yet & a bit drowsy. Recent I struggle with reading
With a toddler and an infant, I am so used to not having time to sit and read uninterrupted, that on that rare morning I am up before them, I forget what to do in my quiet time 😂 I love the reminder that the quality of time spent in the Word is more important than reading a bunch and not digesting any of it. Keeping my Bible out on the kitchen counter is something I am going to try!
Yesterday , I listened to ch. 1 and 2 from the Book of Ruth before my MRI brain scan cuz I was feeling nervous. Since having a stroke in 2014, I was not able to see as properly as before, so mainly consume the Bible via audio format
It looks different on the weekdays than the weekend for me. The only thing that stays the same all 7 days is that I begin my day in prayer after waking up. On the weekdays: After I get off work, I am usually so tired so I typically try to spend time with God right before bed (25-35 minutes). I noticed that when I spend time with Him right before bed, I tend to have a better night sleep. On my two days off from work: after praying in the morning I tend to spend time with God spread throughout the day doing different things (a sermon, worship music, reading the Word, praying, memorizing Scripture, etc.). Usually, I have a playlist on RUclips of piano music that I have downloaded with RUclips Premium which helps me to stay focused. I turn my phone on airplane mode when I start reading the Word so I can devote my time to God.

I like to do it after coming home from work so I don’t feel rushed to read the Bible and can take my time.

1st thing in the morning before my day gets started.
Hey Kaci, because I am a night owl, I tend to spend time with God at 12 am. It's the best time for me because it's without interruption.
You're a great mother, wife, person, and my sister in Christ.
Thank you for your ministry!

Thank you for sharing! I love your suggestions.
I prefer to read my Bible in the morning. It starts my day off right and also I am able to focus more because I’m not exhausted.
I mix up what I do, so my reading the word could be anytime during the day.
the app you use is it a KJV one for the Bible
I like to start at 4 a.m. when my house is quiet.
