I wish I could talk to Sir Alter..Most of us are limited to ourselves, families, countries or religions...While great people like Sir Tom are universal. They are eternal, they are beyond race, creed and religions. Listening to him was like listening to United Hindustan. What a beautiful human being what a legend, the finest of humans mind. He was a true picture of pure love. Thank you for liking my comment. I'm from Peshawar, Pakistan and Sir Tom Alter is an aspiration for me. He loved everything that was beautiful and social. This was so much fun! I can imagine the visual disconnect people have when they see you speaking Hindi so fluently. As an Indian who speaks reasonably fluent French, I sometimes get these same looks.
Also, on a side note, I worked with your dad on a movie and he was such a gem of a person 😊 I was booking his flights and planning his stay, etc. and learnt that he didn't use a mobile (or give it out for work anyway). Anyway, what a lovely human!

Jamie , I got a chance to meet u last year after Covid-19 first wave in DLF mall Noida and got a selfie with u. Earlier I never knew u were such a fluent and desi Hindi speaker as i didnt somehow know that u r active in ur youtube channel. Immediately , after meeting u I searched ur channel and subscribed it and enjoys it a lot. Had I known u were so desi hindi type, i wouldnt have requested u in english for a selfie. It was on my birthday 22 Feb 2015.
In daytime.
Me & my friends booked a table in a restaurant in Rajouri Garden .
The whole premise was completely to ourselves.
We really enjoyed my birthday the match where little rahane n Dhawan scored really good & we won that match.

Jamie sir totally love ur videos..am always jealous of those guys born way up in the North like u ..and are so fluent in hindi..Mai Delhi ki hoke bhi meri hindi me itna zayda English ka use hota hai k kya batau..but u guys from Uttarakhand are just so good..I guess it comes from Hindi being the vernacular language of the state n ur a Uttarakhandi .

भारतीय है। करीब 40 साल से है वहाँ।
उसकी हिंदी सुनकर मेरे बेटे ने पूछा " आपकी हिंदी इतनी शुद्ध कैसे है"
वो बोला लोग विदेशी हवाई अड्डे से लौटने के बाद हिंदी भूल जाते हैं। लेकिन मैं नहीं भूला।
आपको सुनकर वही खुशी फिर हुई।

I am from a small town in Karnataka - Hutti Gold Mines - in 1990s we had over 50 + families who were Anglos and I had so many friends too. Now very few families are left over or retired and settled in bigger cities likes Blr, Hyd or Chennai..
