Here at last is the long version, the Director's Cut shall we say, of the Prym Easy Sock Knitter, Knitting Loom Video. A slightly more detailed film (nearly 8 minutes) of the sock loom, and how to use it.

I've tried this loom : it's working pretty well!
It's an "e wrap stitch", the simpliest! not a rib stitch, but it looks like. You can't easily do a real knit stitch with this loom; try a Kb Sock Loom(1 or 2) if you want knit stitch, or finest gauge.
The heel is made of progressive decreasing then idem increasing on the pegs with indicated numbers, on half of the loom.
The toe is done like the beginning of the heel ( decreasing stitches), but this time on the TWO half of the loom successively! You're making a "mouth" to your sock before close it up, with crochet or a sewing needle, or knitting needles like you prefer ...

Exactly! REAL DUMB! As dumb as YTrs who use yarn that's the same color as the loom. Gee, think I'll use an orange loom and orange yarn and how about orange background!! What were they thinking? Halloween? How stupid can you be?

Having made 2 attempts of socks, following the tutorial, I always seem to end up with a long loop of yarn. Why? Any help would be great.

Why it seem to start with the right side and when it start to close the heel turns into the left side? It confuses me a lot because I started in the same way the video shows :C

Dark colours never show up well on video. My eyes are perfectly normal. 20/20 vision.
Nice loom knitting though. Good for the brain to work out. Not easy.
