I sometimes wonder why do companies do such silly things like not providing a built in battery? Is it an overlook or intentional? In the former case, the people, who approved the product, need to be fired. A nice product made almost useless for want of a small thing.
If you want a good sounding speaker with those IR features . Buy any smart speaker (Echo dot, Mi Smart speaker, Nest mini) under 3000 . And buy a Croma Wifi IR control (Price : 699 on amazon) . Now you have a good speaker as well as those IR features with the same 3699 price. And also Google assistant support (Not only alexa like this Zebronic one).
I know I am a little late in this video but if someone knows please let me know how to add Zeb Bot to Groups. I bought after watching this video but now I am not able to add it to a room like I do with echo dot, so alexa commands are going all over the place

No you dont need to keep it close during setup but yes it needs to be close to work

No battery. So how can it be called super portable?
Because you can plug it to a powerbank and use it anywhere unlike the echo dot, which need to be plugged into the wall power only.
