Keep on scratching! My wife bought 40 dollars in 5 dollar tickets and won nothing. She was a little distraught. When I returned home she mentioned this and I drove back to town and bought 50 dollars of the same game tickets. Lottery companies understand human psychology and know that ;people think the more ,money they spend on na scratchcard, the better their chances of winning, so the lottery organizers know these people are mugs and they don't need to put many big wins on the more expensive scratchcards. From my observations, people more often win money on the cheaper scratchcards. Although thy rarely win much, because scratchcards have the longest odds and least chances of winning than any other gambling game of chance in the whole world. Do the lottery and pick your own numbers, then they can't affect the outcome and you'll have a better chance of winning. Unlike the scratchcards where they can limit how many winning scratchcards that they print.
When I worked at a gas station a Man who came in daily and played, told me when you buy the low dollar cards never buy less than 5 and always make sure the number ends with an odd number on the first tickets you get and the last ticket you buy. On the $10 you buy 3. The big ones $10 $20 buy odd numbered tickets and you can just get one or two. He always won his money back. Most of the time he won over a $100
Been playing for years and believe it or not hit big twice , 75k and 100k. Both times I had purchased two 3$ tickets. In my experience the white line thing is a myth. However it seems I hit more often than not either towards the front or end of the rolls. I try to avoid the middle of the rolls and buy tickets with either low or high numbers.
The white line is a big myth. It's just the algorithm in which the tickets are made. Now if the odds of the game lines up with some of the wins in a pack I can see how this myth could be started.

I’ve won on tickets that had no white line and lost on tickets that had it. So yeah it’s a myth. My biggest winner was four figures and had no white line.
Always remember. Anytime the winning numbers is close to the scratch off numbers, you know from jump it’s not a winning ticket. So if the winning number is “25” and you scratch off the number “24” or “23” you know it’s not a winning ticket. ❤

I used to work sanitation in NYC. One day in a major Ave in Brooklyn we were on foot sweeping. My partner and I picked up every ticket we found and ended up with like $27. We bought more tickets with that money and won $70. So yes, if you pick up every scratch off you find, you will eventually find some winners. The trick is, not to throw them back on the ground. I don't know how you buy your lottery scratch offs, but in Kentucky you don't choose which tickets you buy. The clerk pulls them off the roll and gives them to you. Great tips if you can pick and choose your tickets.
@Tn wild man Nobody told me. I buy scratch offs all the time. I tell them which bunch I want to buy from and they tear it iff at the perforation and give it to me. You can choose the particular type, like "Gold Rush" or "Bingo" and they tear the next one off and give it to you. They wouldn't go into the roll and tear five off just to give me the 6th ticket if I asked them to.
So I've been watching a few other different people with the scratch-off ticket videos and I'm pretty into him because it kind of fixes my problem I had with buying and spending too much money on lottery tickets so I watch these videos to get a little fix and it kind of calms me down and makes me not want to buy tickets I get to watch other people waste money or in some cases very little win some good money but then I see them right back on buying more tickets that are not winners and using all that winning money that they won, so then it turns out in the long run that unless you hit really really big you're never going to be on top and that's like 1% of the people who play who hit really big and play moderately you know we call them the lucky people but so happy to watch the video get my fix so I don't have to spend my money thank you for the video

Years ago, (in Texas) my husband bought 100 $1 assorted scratch off tickets. He gave me half and we started scratching them off. We scratched for what seemed like forever. I work somewhere where we sell lottery and scratchers. People have their superstitions. The white line being one of them. Some ppl like the cards to be between certain numbers. Like, they’ll want a number 25 ticket versus one that’s in the 50’s. (Depending on how many come in a pack). I sold 5 $20 tickets in a row, and not 1 winner! There is no trick to these tickets. They are completely random. Sorry for bursting anyone’s bubble.

I like to have strict budget for my "what if sessions" because thats all these games mean to me, is a shot at "What if". People that chase their losses are LOSERS. 1st and foremost I'm not a lottery expert, but a lot of people make the mistake you did. If you spend $50.00 on scratch offs don't buy several different cards like you did, you're lowering your odds. If I spend that amount of cash I'll play the same game on all of my tickets it's better odds. For instance, if I spend $50.00 on $2.00 tickets I'll play the same game, I'll have 25 chances to win, higher odds. I may not get back what I spent, but I have better odds of doing so, or even win more than I put in, it only takes one ticket, and I'll have 25 chances.

This so cute. The white lines are where the roll is pulled forward during printing. The roller only pulls the strips about 25 tickets before it resets. Has nothing to do with what’s printed on the tickets. Always causes a slight offset of the printing before the computer adjust again.

Best way i know to increase your chances of winning are playing the odds that are listed on the back of the tickets. If the odds are are 1 in 4 then buy 4, or even 5 tickets of the same lottery ticket and by all means one of them should be a winner. Doesn't always work but more often it does
The odds are based on the total amount of tickets printed, so that doesn't mean that if the odds are 3.89 for example, that if you buy 4 tickets , you will win at least on one of them.
I don't actually buy them but I'll pick them up off the ground. More often than not someone throws away a winner that looks like it's lost. Found one once worth $100 on top of the trash can beside the gas pump. Good luck for me since I pulled in on empty and realized I'd left my wallet at home💜

If you want tips ask the cashier. They sell them all day and usually the buyer goes back to cash in or gloat on their winnings especially if the cashier is a women. I was told fresh packs of new games are good to win within the first 5 to 10. This is to help spread the word that this ticket pays off. Well after 10. chances of big wins are low until around #30 to #40. So always ask the clerk what number ticket it's on before buying. If they say they can't tell you then they know what you fishing for and might want to snag it for themselves. I always get great tips from women cashiers and the ladies that work casinos. They know which machines are due to pay out
Society News Network not sure how reliable this story, I think you just want to sound like a womaniser or something as there is a high emphasis on women in this little story. My first problem with this story is that I work in a shop and there’s usually 16 different sets of cards and about 50 cards per pack, no one is going to be counting that amount of tickets as well as remember how many there are for each different set. Also when someone takes over a shift or takes their colleague off for a break how are they going to know the numbers, if the colleague before them wasn’t counting which is highly likely. ALSO if the cards were refilled or changed when you were not at work, how are you going to know any of the numbers then, because they won’t be full as, like I just said, they were changed on your day off. Same goes for the casino apart from there will be MORE games to count and memorise.
Sometimes the cashier's *won't* tell you what #'s are on a ticket because it's against company policy! Most stores don't allow the employees to play the lottery (tickets or otherwise) while they are on duty! I know this because I've been one of those cashiers!

I win by playing once a month. When I get a premonition of winning, I do. $1000, $5,000 and the last one $500. I also got an inheritance of a guy I dated 20 years ago. Guess I was his true love $75,000 and his 2 antique cars.
I worked at a family owned business that sold lottery (VA Lottery, from the time it was started until 2021 when we went out of business) and the white line thing, does hold a little truth, it increases the odds of a winner, but at the same time I've seen plenty of white line losing tickets too. Would be intesting if someone bought a ton (thousands of dollars) worth of tickets, and see if the odds truly increase with a white line or it is percieved.

I stopped at a 7-11 randomly one Sunday morning on my way to meet some people and i just decided on a whim to get a $50 ( I hardly ever get a ticket that cost that much), but that morning I did. The ticket was a $1,000 winner. That felt good. I just need it to happen about 1000 more times to break even from the years I haven't won. LOL.. but winning always feels good. My theory after working at a gas station for many years is there is always a winner on the ticket with the white line. After working there for a while I started to notice the white lines. I had told a customer playing scratch offs my theory and he tested it and every ticket he got with a white line at the bottom he won on. Mostly only what he paid for the ticket but none the less he still won on them.

White line theory is exactly that. Just because you have a solid white line doesn’t mean it’s a winning ticket. I’ve won scratch offs with no white line and had some losers with a white line.

I scan the barcode in every ticket with my phone to make sure they are lisers. I use my downloaded Georgia Lottery so to scan with. You would be shocked how easy some are to miss.
Back in the day my friend could always tell if they were winning tickets (about 9 times out of 10).. Here's a tip if you look at the bottom right hand corner of ticket you will see numbers which represent the number of the tickets such as 024 would mean that ticket is 24 out of how many tickets that are in that stack the lower the number more likely you are to win instead if you get a number like 1250.
On 10 dollar tickets i always look for the ticket number to be on a multiple of 5 . Example #20,25,30,35,40,45,50 , sometimes because of the odds the winners will land on number ending in 9 or 4,6 example #39 or #44,46. Almost every single time i buy a ten dollar ticket thats on a number like I described its a winner

My mom always won on these. I mean like 300 & 500 dollars. Another little trick on these is after you scratch your numbers if the very first number is one up or one down from your winning numbers it's almost always a losing ticket. ie: winning numbers are 12 & 8 and you scratch the first number and it's an 11, 13, 7, or 9 it's almost always a loser!

Back when I use to work as a manager for a local convenience store. One thing I started noticing about the scratch-off lottery tickets is when the lottery company would introduce a brand new game card ( I ask a few other managers to watch out and keep track) when the new game cards came out if the 1st. the pack of cards was full of winning tickets. They notice theirs did the same thing and the patterns were very close and the 2nd. the pack was close but space a little further apart. So if you wait for the new games to be interduce. The managers will start selling them at the beginning of their shift once the lotto machines wakes-up and go online and they pull their report.

When I returned home she mentioned this and I drove back to town and bought 50 dollars of the same game tickets. When I got home and she began scratching them, out of the 10 tickets she got a 500 dollar winner and a 10 dollar winner. Lottery companies understand human psychology and know that ;people think the more ,money they spend on na scratchcard, the better their chances of winning, so the lottery organizers know these people are mugs and they don't need to put many big wins on the more expensive scratchcards. From my observations, people more often win money on the cheaper scratchcards. Although thy rarely win much, because scratchcards have the longest odds and least chances of winning than any other gambling game of chance in the whole world. Do the lottery and pick your own numbers, then they can't affect the outcome and you'll have a better chance of winning. Unlike the scratchcards where they can limit how many winning scratchcards that they print.
When I worked at a gas station a Man who came in daily and played, told me when you buy the low dollar cards never buy less than 5 and always make sure the number ends with an odd number on the first tickets you get and the last ticket you buy. On the $10 you buy 3. The big ones $10 $20 buy odd numbered tickets and you can just get one or two. He always won his money back. Most of the time he won over a $100

Been playing for years and believe it or not hit big twice , 75k and 100k. Both times I had purchased two 3$ tickets. In my experience the white line thing is a myth. However it seems I hit more often than not either towards the front or end of the rolls. I try to avoid the middle of the rolls and buy tickets with either low or high numbers.
The white line is a big myth. It's just the algorithm in which the tickets are made. Now if the odds of the game lines up with some of the wins in a pack I can see how this myth could be started.

I don't know how you buy your lottery scratch offs, but in Kentucky you don't choose which tickets you buy. The clerk pulls them off the roll and gives them to you. Great tips if you can pick and choose your tickets.
@Tn wild man Nobody told me. I buy scratch offs all the time. I tell them which bunch I want to buy from and they tear it iff at the perforation and give it to me. You can choose the particular type, like "Gold Rush" or "Bingo" and they tear the next one off and give it to you. They wouldn't go into the roll and tear five off just to give me the 6th ticket if I asked them to.

So I've been watching a few other different people with the scratch-off ticket videos and I'm pretty into him because it kind of fixes my problem I had with buying and spending too much money on lottery tickets so I watch these videos to get a little fix and it kind of calms me down and makes me not want to buy tickets I get to watch other people waste money or in some cases very little win some good money but then I see them right back on buying more tickets that are not winners and using all that winning money that they won, so then it turns out in the long run that unless you hit really really big you're never going to be on top and that's like 1% of the people who play who hit really big and play moderately you know we call them the lucky people but so happy to watch the video get my fix so I don't have to spend my money thank you for the video

Years ago, (in Texas) my husband bought 100 $1 assorted scratch off tickets. He gave me half and we started scratching them off. We scratched for what seemed like forever. All of them kept coming up loosers. I think they may have been one or two that were $1-$2 winning tickets, but as I got to my last ticket as I was scratching it revealed I won $100. This so cute. The white lines are where the roll is pulled forward during printing. The roller only pulls the strips about 25 tickets before it resets. Has nothing to do with what’s printed on the tickets. Always causes a slight offset of the printing before the computer adjust again.

Best way i know to increase your chances of winning are playing the odds that are listed on the back of the tickets. If the odds are are 1 in 4 then buy 4, or even 5 tickets of the same lottery ticket and by all means one of them should be a winner. Doesn't always work but more often it does

The odds are based on the total amount of tickets printed, so that doesn't mean that if the odds are 3.89 for example, that if you buy 4 tickets , you will win at least on one of them.

If you want tips ask the cashier. They sell them all day and usually the buyer goes back to cash in or gloat on their winnings especially if the cashier is a women. I was told fresh packs of new games are good to win within the first 5 to 10. This is to help spread the word that this ticket pays off. Well after 10. chances of big wins are low until around #30 to #40. So always ask the clerk what number ticket it's on before buying. If they say they can't tell you then they know what you fishing for and might want to snag it for themselves. I always get great tips from women cashiers and the ladies that work casinos. They know which machines are due to pay out
Society News Network not sure how reliable this story, I think you just want to sound like a womaniser or something as there is a high emphasis on women in this little story. My first problem with this story is that I work in a shop and there’s usually 16 different sets of cards and about 50 cards per pack, no one is going to be counting that amount of tickets as well as remember how many there are for each different set. Also when someone takes over a shift or takes their colleague off for a break how are they going to know the numbers, if the colleague before them wasn’t counting which is highly likely. ALSO if the cards were refilled or changed when you were not at work, how are you going to know any of the numbers then, because they won’t be full as, like I just said, they were changed on your day off. Same goes for the casino apart from there will be MORE games to count and memorise.
Sometimes the cashier's *won't* tell you what #'s are on a ticket because it's against company policy! Most stores don't allow the employees to play the lottery (tickets or otherwise) while they are on duty! I know this because I've been one of those cashiers!

I worked at a family owned business that sold lottery (VA Lottery, from the time it was started until 2021 when we went out of business) and the white line thing, does hold a little truth, it increases the odds of a winner, but at the same time I've seen plenty of white line losing tickets too. Would be intesting if someone bought a ton (thousands of dollars) worth of tickets, and see if the odds truly increase with a white line or it is percieved.
I rarely play any type of lottery but when I do I normally get scratch offs and so far I’m up. But again I don’t play like the real lotto players. And I don’t buy 6 different scratch offs. If I buy 6 it’s off the same roll and all at once

I stopped at a 7-11 randomly one Sunday morning on my way to meet some people and i just decided on a whim to get a $50 ( I hardly ever get a ticket that cost that much), but that morning I did. The ticket was a $1,000 winner. That felt good. I just need it to happen about 1000 more times to break even from the years I haven't won. LOL.. but winning always feels good. I'll continue playing cause you never know.
My theory after working at a gas station for many years is there is always a winner on the ticket with the white line. After working there for a while I started to notice the white lines. I had told a customer playing scratch offs my theory and he tested it and every ticket he got with a white line at the bottom he won on. Mostly only what he paid for the ticket but none the less he still won on them.

White line theory is exactly that. Just because you have a solid white line doesn’t mean it’s a winning ticket. I’ve won scratch offs with no white line and had some losers with a white line.

I scan the barcode in every ticket with my phone to make sure they are lisers. I use my downloaded Georgia Lottery so to scan with. You would be shocked how easy some are to miss.

Here's a tip if you look at the bottom right hand corner of ticket you will see numbers which represent the number of the tickets such as 024 would mean that ticket is 24 out of how many tickets that are in that stack the lower the number more likely you are to win instead if you get a number like 1250.

On 10 dollar tickets i always look for the ticket number to be on a multiple of 5 . Example #20,25,30,35,40,45,50 , sometimes because of the odds the winners will land on number ending in 9 or 4,6 example #39 or #44,46. Almost every single time i buy a ten dollar ticket thats on a number like I described its a winner

Back when I use to work as a manager for a local convenience store. One thing I started noticing about the scratch-off lottery tickets is when the lottery company would introduce a brand new game card ( I ask a few other managers to watch out and keep track) when the new game cards came out if the 1st. the pack of cards was full of winning tickets. They notice theirs did the same thing and the patterns were very close and the 2nd. the pack was close but space a little further apart. So if you wait for the new games to be interduce. The managers will start selling them at the beginning of their shift once the lotto machines wakes-up and go online and they pull their report.

The next time a new game card is come out get to your local store and watch, but the highest ticket the motherload isn't in the pattern it is free-floating.
