I did the same idea for my elderly mom - no steps! Except I used garden wall stack blocks 6ft away from the edge of the MH, and then built a free standing deck between wall and MH on the two sides with doors, like you are. Everyone loves the no-steps access. The only down side of this is if you have an awning along one side for parking, you get minimum head room. Not the end of the world, just gotta watch what you park under the awning. Look forward to seeing the rest of the project.

Notches on the block are for expansion joints, you would face the notches together and drop in a rubber expansion. You bought all jamb blocks which i'm not sure if they're more expensive or not, but they do weigh more than the regular. Also one side is smooth faced for corners.

I've been working on plans for a manufactured home, 24x44, the town I live in in Western Canada manufactured homes have to either sit on a perimeter foundation or slab that is 8 inches thick. With concrete running 300 a metre (1.3 yard) a mobile slab placed and finished is 15,000 dollars its a monolithic slab as it has to be 12 inches around the perimeter. In my situation I'm going with pier and beam I will have to crane the sections onto a foundation. Building with concrete is expensive, 1800 to 3000 dollars for each mixer truck load trucks range from 7 to 13 yards, concrete pump is minimum 1000 dollars per visit to your site. I'm interested in trying to build cinder block retaining walls a standard 16 inch block is 4 dollars each, retaining wall blocks are nearly 10 dollars each.
