I used to buy my air max 97 and 98 TTS and wasn’t impressed with the comfort either. However last year I started buying them a size up and the difference in comfort blew my mind. Try on a pair .5 size up and see how you feel. This colorway is nice

Lovely shoes i got a pair this month but the gold strip around the shoe with the bullet line going around the shoe has already faded so be careful very poor quality i returned my pair after 2 weeks of using them and i looked after them very well so be careful.

Ehh the air max 97 are made a half size too small so if you wear a 9.5 get a 10. I own two pair the black and white and the all black and both are super skinny and really tight and take forever to stretch out. The most uncomfortable air max ever made that I’ve felt so far and I have a bunch of air max. I have the 98, 97, 95, 90 and the 1s and the 95s are the best
Great review, ive never really been a fan of the 97s, (AM1s all day) but in black they are really nice
To be honest the am1 is my least favourite out of what i consider to be the top 3 (am1, am90 & am97). I'm an air max 90 guy mainly but these definitely have their place amongst the collection

im not a fan of the swoosh on the laces, but since it's removable that makes it easy to deal with. overall, i do like 97s and this is a solid release

I wouldnt recommend these shoes as the gold meterial fades away after owning the pair for 2 week while looking after them also and still the gold meterial fades it is very weak
I just order that if that is true what ur saying contact Nike and tell them they very understanding you can send back and get all ur money
@@davidonwa3110 yes its true buddy i was proper gutted when i saw the gold meterial started flaking away and i returned them asap they give the money back thankfully as nike shoes like for the price should not damage quick as 2 weeks for me after looking after them if you out in certain weathers i believe this can destory the gold meterials quicker. If i was you i would ring them up right now and say youve changed your mind as the shoes have bad reviews about them being worn of very quick with the gold meterials if you call them and it hasnt been delivered they should be able to be a quicker process other than you having to send them back though post your self. Theres no videos of people really wearing these shoes for a while for people to say the meterials weak but ive experianced it as i was gutted cause i generally really like the pair. i just cropped some 97s and happy with the purchase no worn of parts of the shoe at all cause the meterial isnt that cheap gold flaky meterial but yes its true unfortunitally plus these gold ones look over the top honstly after wearing them as i dont have other gold clothing etc so dont regret taking them back cause you will be gutted if the same happens to you that happened to me. Hope my answer helped thanks.

@@davidonwa3110 not harsh weather just normal british weather a little bit of rain and cold weather but felt maybe made a big deal on them shoes what tottaly put me of these shoes i got some new 97s and these are spot on my new 97s meterial part is now black lether meterial whats much better and i know these wont fade as i do believe the gold nike shoe meterial is actually like a Powder Coated Meterial what flakes away easy.

dope pickup yeah these very wearable great for the winter. also that swoosh will definitely fray the laces / tongue area. I had some years not that same one but yeah they will also fall off i had them in my air Jordan 1 it didn't match the sneaker but i liked how they looked not now . Great review. oh yeah i see the what the 5s made it to the background sneakers ✊🙏

How would you get the metal nike clip of the shoe love your content 💯
To take it off, you just unlace the shoe and when you get to the bottom eyelets pull it through the lace clip and then relace, its a bit long winded but imo it does make the shoe look better! Really appreciate you coming through and supporting the channel bro 🙏

To be completely honest I've never been a big fan of the 98 but I guess it comes down to preference, personally I would go for the 97s

I love these but unlike you had to size up! Tell your wife to go up a 1/2 or even a full size and they're so much more comfy! LOL. For me its bc the toebox doesn't have any give. These look cleaner than the blush pink ones i have!
Thank you for the advice I'll definitely let her know, I do agree given the silhouette there isn't as much space in toebox as say the am90, for me i can get away with going a half size down for a tighter fit or going a half size up for that looser feel but in general, tts fits me best
