Hi there! You are very welcome! Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it. Well the theme change is a lot of work, basically building your entire website again, but now in Divi. Then the change from Yoast to Rank Math can be easily done, and can be done before or after the theme change. WooCommerce is also a different system and will not be influenced by the theme or SEO plugin, all information will stay inside of it when changing everything 😀👍🏻

Hi Jeff! Thanks for the question. No it does not. The Rank Math Role Manager only can allow people to use the Rank Math plugin in a certain way per role. Hi Matt, many thanks for this wonderful and elaborate tutorial! I'd like to ask a question regarding the Analytics settings at 20:44- I was facing a lot of issues because I could not get these fields to populate, then I discovered I need to sign up a GA4 account separately and create the propery through google (which I think would be a good point to add , as I am a fresh wordpress user). However, google analytics would also like to install that GA4 account into my website, which can be done through google site kit. I could not find any clear advise on this topic so would appreciate if you can clarify, whether I need to also install the google site kit and connect my website to google analytics? I believe it provides some additional dashboard and stats features, but not sure whether this might impair the site's performance (on Rank Math website they do not recommend to install it in parallel with their plugin). Again, I am not knowledgable enough to understand what's happening behind the scenes with all of these settings, and whether I should toggle the "Install analytics code" off if I install the google site kit (it would make sense though). I am just wondering whether google analytics is satisfied with me plugging in GA4 account into Rank Math , without actually connecting directly it with google site kit. Thanks again, and sorry for the long comment, I am trying to give as many details as I can..

Great video, Matt; easy to understand. I have a question about computer speed. All RUclips website tutorials are so fast while my PC is sleeping. Does yours look fast because you speed it up during editing, or is it that fast? I spend so much time working on my website simply because it's slow.

Also I need that speed to work fast in building websites for clients. What you see in tutorials when building a website is (in my case) the true time. The heavy lifting of page builders is being done in your browser, but a good hosting company also makes a difference. So for me that combination is gold 😀👍🏻

Well in the beginning its not that important, but as you grow and your website get more pages, products and posts, it could be useful to navigate your website. So keep that in mind when building it right now. Easier to add it in now than to do that later on...
No worries, there is not such a t hing as to many questions 😁. So on my most important pages that I want to rank I do a lot more work to get to a high amount of words. I try to expand them but write good content. On other 'normal' pages that are not going to rank, it does not matter much. Hope that helps!

Hi there, By any chance, does Rank Math sometimes not display the number of images on pages made with builders? For ex: My sitemap is showing the number of images on posts which were made in Guttenberg. But it does not show the number of images on pages that I created in the Breakdance builder.
Hi there! Thanks for the question. Yeah sometimes this is a issue I also face with Divi. You should ask Rank Math - on their support page - about this. It seems that the relative new Breakdance builder has indeed still some integration issues with Rank Math. My guess is that they are working on it.
If you are adding this to a client's site you are building, do you link it to your personal google account for Google services or theirs? Does it matter?

is it ok to have the image title and the alt tag for the image exactly the same, or is it spammy. In the video you just copy and paste the image name in to the alt
Hi Oliver, you can have them both at the same time, but the Title is something your visitors might see if they hover over your image, so keep that in mind. Only Alt text and file name are important for as far as I know 😀

Hi Sonny, thanks for your question. In my opinion they both do the same job, but Rank Math gives you more value and gives some options for free that Yoast only has in the paid version. Just follow along and before Rank Math wants to clean everything from Yoast, make sure to check your posts/pages so that every title and description has been successfully migrated to Rank Math. Hi there! Thank you for your question! Well best practice is when your website is reasy for launch (but not optimized) to already put it out there and submit to search engines. This way, the search engines see that pages are being changed regularly… so it’s a signal that the website is “alive” and “growing”.
I have this message on the plugin downloads page. Do I need to completely erase "ALL IN ONE" before installing RANK MATH? (Message: This plugin is known to conflict with All in One SEO. We don't recommend that you activate this plugin in order to prevent conflicts.)
Hi there! Thanks for your question. So the All In One Seo plugin should indeed be de-activated. Don’t remove it entirely if you want to import the settings to Rank Math.
One thing I am confused about - is the "landingspage" meant to be blank? Cause I just followed your guide and made it like you did and there is no content on it. I already had a pre existing "home page" that I still need to optimize with keywords, keyphrases, meta text and so forth... I am just worried people will surf on to a blank page with the landing page I just made. Or is it meant to be like a "bait" for the search engine? Hope my question makes sense... thanks again for another great tutorial! edit: oh I just realized... landingpage = home page. so I created a 2nd page by accident... can I just "trash" this one, or is this going to create problems for the search engine indexing? :-(
Hi Kate! No you missed the point of a landingspage. It’s a specific page created to rank on a specific topic. So you have to make a new page, change every bit of content and then optimize it also with Rank Math 👍🏻
Hi! Another amazing video! huge thanks for that! but I do have a problem: re-doing my website and only now changed the custom structure in Permalinks from standard post name to custom: /(website)/news (=category)/(post name). Problem 1:. Somehow my posts still run under /(website)/(post name), so the permalink change hasn't taken effect. Problem 2. Do I have to set up a redirection for each and every post - for all existing posts? Problem 3: What about all future posts? 4. I have a special "Categories" button and added there also: /news (=category). Not sure if it was even necessary and when I want to delete it I get a scary message "you will delete this item for your complete website". Would appreciate a 'redirection'
Hi there and thanks for your questions. You are doing great. Let’s start with 1) Did you save the permalinks twice? It’s needed to rewrite your structure. 2) if you want to make sure everything is redirected, yes this would be smart. So download your sitemap before redirect to excel, then copy all URLs to column 2 and start adjusting. Then upload all to redirection plugin. This could work. Don’t know how many posts you have of course… 3) They will be automatically added to the right structure if changes are made to the permalinks settings. 4) I don’t know about that message. Just create a new fake categorie, make some posts into it and see what happens when you delete it. Trial and error my friend 😀👍🏻
I’m using elementor just for my home page, but Wordpress for everything else, will seo still read what is on my page from elementor even though I’m setting it up in Wordpress , if not how do I go about setting this up
Hi Roronoa! Thank you for the question. It could be that you connected a wrong Google account to Rank Math. Did you double check it? Also maybe the domain is registered as www but you are using non-www?

Btw the tutorial was awesome. I'm getting used to it faster than i expected, i watched few other videos before yours but they didn't make every point clear , but this video is the only video anyone will ever need on Rank Math SEO. Well the theme change is a lot of work, basically building your entire website again, but now in Divi. Then the change from Yoast to Rank Math can be easily done, and can be done before or after the theme change. WooCommerce is also a different system and will not be influenced by the theme or SEO plugin, all information will stay inside of it when changing everything 😀👍🏻

I'd like to ask a question regarding the Analytics settings at 20:44- I was facing a lot of issues because I could not get these fields to populate, then I discovered I need to sign up a GA4 account separately and create the propery through google (which I think would be a good point to add , as I am a fresh wordpress user). However, google analytics would also like to install that GA4 account into my website, which can be done through google site kit.
I could not find any clear advise on this topic so would appreciate if you can clarify, whether I need to also install the google site kit and connect my website to google analytics? I believe it provides some additional dashboard and stats features, but not sure whether this might impair the site's performance (on Rank Math website they do not recommend to install it in parallel with their plugin).
Again, I am not knowledgable enough to understand what's happening behind the scenes with all of these settings, and whether I should toggle the "Install analytics code" off if I install the google site kit (it would make sense though). I am just wondering whether google analytics is satisfied with me plugging in GA4 account into Rank Math , without actually connecting directly it with google site kit.

Well in the beginning its not that important, but as you grow and your website get more pages, products and posts, it could be useful to navigate your website. So keep that in mind when building it right now. Easier to add it in now than to do that later on...
No worries, there is not such a t hing as to many questions 😁. So on my most important pages that I want to rank I do a lot more work to get to a high amount of words. I try to expand them but write good content. On other 'normal' pages that are not going to rank, it does not matter much. Hope that helps!

Hi there! Thanks for the question. Yeah sometimes this is a issue I also face with Divi. You should ask Rank Math - on their support page - about this. It seems that the relative new Breakdance builder has indeed still some integration issues with Rank Math. My guess is that they are working on it.

Not on a container no. But for the entire page, that should just work fine.
is it ok to have the image title and the alt tag for the image exactly the same, or is it spammy. In the video you just copy and paste the image name in to the alt
Hi Oliver, you can have them both at the same time, but the Title is something your visitors might see if they hover over your image, so keep that in mind. Only Alt text and file name are important for as far as I know 😀

Hi Sonny, thanks for your question. In my opinion they both do the same job, but Rank Math gives you more value and gives some options for free that Yoast only has in the paid version. Just follow along and before Rank Math wants to clean everything from Yoast, make sure to check your posts/pages so that every title and description has been successfully migrated to Rank Math. Hi there! Thank you for your question! Well best practice is when your website is reasy for launch (but not optimized) to already put it out there and submit to search engines. This way, the search engines see that pages are being changed regularly… so it’s a signal that the website is “alive” and “growing”.

Hi there! Thanks for your question. So the All In One Seo plugin should indeed be de-activated. Don’t remove it entirely if you want to import the settings to Rank Math.
One thing I am confused about - is the "landingspage" meant to be blank? Cause I just followed your guide and made it like you did and there is no content on it. I already had a pre existing "home page" that I still need to optimize with keywords, keyphrases, meta text and so forth... I am just worried people will surf on to a blank page with the landing page I just made. Or is it meant to be like a "bait" for the search engine? Hope my question makes sense... thanks again for another great tutorial!
edit: oh I just realized... landingpage = home page. so I created a 2nd page by accident... can I just "trash" this one, or is this going to create problems for the search engine indexing? :-(
Hi Kate! No you missed the point of a landingspage. It’s a specific page created to rank on a specific topic. So you have to make a new page, change every bit of content and then optimize it also with Rank Math 👍🏻

Hi! Another amazing video! huge thanks for that! but I do have a problem: re-doing my website and only now changed the custom structure in Permalinks from standard post name to custom: /(website)/news (=category)/(post name). Problem 1:. Somehow my posts still run under /(website)/(post name), so the permalink change hasn't taken effect. Problem 2. Do I have to set up a redirection for each and every post - for all existing posts? Problem 3: What about all future posts? 4. I have a special "Categories" button and added there also: /news (=category). Not sure if it was even necessary and when I want to delete it I get a scary message "you will delete this item for your complete website". Would appreciate a 'redirection'
Hi there and thanks for your questions. You are doing great. Let’s start with 1) Did you save the permalinks twice? It’s needed to rewrite your structure.
2) if you want to make sure everything is redirected, yes this would be smart. So download your sitemap before redirect to excel, then copy all URLs to column 2 and start adjusting. Then upload all to redirection plugin. This could work. Don’t know how many posts you have of course…
3) They will be automatically added to the right structure if changes are made to the permalinks settings.
4) I don’t know about that message. Just create a new fake categorie, make some posts into it and see what happens when you delete it. Trial and error my friend 😀👍🏻

Hi Evan! Great question. Yes Rank Math will still see all pages content, Elementor or Gutenberg or any other builder. It’s a real great plugin! 😀

Hi Roronoa! Thank you for the question. It could be that you connected a wrong Google account to Rank Math. Did you double check it? Also maybe the domain is registered as www but you are using non-www?
@@WPressDoctor ohh sorry, i forgot to mention it afterwards, my bad. It got resolved after a while, when i checked back after an hour or so my website was there in the drop-down. Btw the tutorial was awesome. I'm getting used to it faster than i expected, i watched few other videos before yours but they didn't make every point clear , but this video is the only video anyone will ever need on Rank Math SEO. Thanks, now my reworked pages are getting ranked. Thanks again.
