- Viewers, who were eagerly waiting for season 11 of Bringing Up Bates, which was scheduled to premiere back in February, were met with disappointment after UPtv pulled the plug on the hit series last minute despite promoting it relentlessly in the prior months. This was a major shocker for the fans as they were completely caught off guard by the news because filming was already underway at that point.
While no exact explanation was ever provided regarding the show’s cancelation, UPtv stated the show no longer ‘fitted in’ with the network's programming focus despite previously bragging about it being a ‘rating winner’. So what exactly prompted the network to end the longstanding reality TV show? Here are a few reasons that might have led to its eventual downfall.

25. God is War!
The Bates' good friend, Josh Duggar has been sentenced to prison for having dirty pics of Lana and Lola Loud on his computer (despite the Loud twins being okay with it). The Bates, feeling bad for the Duggars, believes in second chances, and goes to war against the corrupt legal system in order to free Josh for his sin. But it won't be easy as the prosecutors have hired a new leader to represent them.

The Bates were definitely victims of cancel culture. They are a clean, Christian family with good Christian entertainment.
If there is nothing to cancel they cant be cancelled. They would still have a show if they were a bit more respectful and were a bit more distanced from some very negative (Duggars and Trump rally) situations.

I love the Bates family. Christianity is always having to defend itself especially in 2022. All these kids are amazing young people and hard workers who were raised by loving parents.
7. Roadblasters
While celebrating a birthday of one of the kids at a pizza parlor, Josie stumbles upon the 1980's arcade classic, Roadblasters and becomes addicted to beating the 50 course challenge. She becomes so addicted that she tries to find as much money as she can to beat it. The rest of the family is worried about her condition. Especially since Josie's working for a mob boss in order to pay for her Roadblasters addiction!

The kids learn a valuable lesson when you mess with a beehive...especially when said bees takes control of a mega beam satellite with plans to fire a giant laser on the Bates estate!

Awe I Love ❤️ the Bates n if u watch both bringing up Bates and the Duggars there is a huge difference between the 2 families the Bates actually raise thie kids themselves instead of the older raising the younger .for an example .While I don't agree with their views the fact that part of what got canceled for voiceing their opinion it on a different platform was wrong imo .I mean the George Floyd thing wasn't funny and wrong but as long as they weren't being vocal of thier political opinions on the show I don't think the show should have been canceled. I think it was more because of all the junk with the Duggars

After being hooked on WWE wrestling, Zachary Bates children, Bradley and Kaci decides to start their own backyard wrestling league which turns out to be a success, until the Insane Clown Posse becomes involved with the bookings that eventually sees Kaci "accidentally" has her eye jammed with a broken piece of glass! Carlin Bates, not happy with what happened to her niece decides to lay the blame on those responsible for this...the WWE!

6. Three Strikes and You're Dead
While teaching the children the wonderful game of baseball (as God intended), the cops show up and arrest Katie and Travis Clark (the same way they arrested Mr. King) on charges for the disappearance of Pittsburgh Pirate great, Argenis Díaz. The rest of the family must find out who is really behind the kidnapping.
I loved this show. So disappointed that it is not come back for another season!
I wonder if this show got more expensive as more and more of the kids get married and move away.

17. The Qatar Adventure Part 2
The Bates family start arguing amongst themselves of how to handle the situation, with half of them wanting to continue to show love and affection, and that they mean no harm, while the other half wants to let loose the dogs of war! The grandkids find a duct during the arguing that happens to be large enough for them to escape in. Now they must figure out a way to rescue the rest of their family before the beheadings begin!

I love this family also and they are all so close and wonderful and treat each other with respect. They have the right to support who they want to support just like every American. Meanwhile, Tori's husband starts acting strange as he all of a sudden wants to hang out with Jeb more.

I have watched Bringing Up Bates for years, it was one of only a few shows that was both entertaining and wholesome. I often found myself smiling as I watched the show. No one is perfect but Gil & Kelly have done an outstanding job rearing their 19 children (I can’t even imagine). Shame on Up TV for cancelling the show as they bowed to political pressure. Love to the Bates from middle TN❤️

24. Foundry of Evil
While taking a tour at a local steel mill, terrorists barge into the place and takes it over with the Bates being taken prisoners! The Bates must find a way to escape so the cavalry can charge right in there to take the terrorists out, but that won't be easy as the terrorists have booby trapped the entire factory, while they mass produce weapons of mass destruction!

Wow! I have been watching them for a few days and was admiring this family.
I have a very disfunctional family and I was praying to the Lord about how sad I was that I wasn’t born in a family like this.
All of the sudden , I started coming across certain things that made me raise my eyebrows.
Then I came across this.
As a black woman this really hurts and stinks because you can be religious as you want but when you don’t have love and compassion for anyone, no matter what their color is, you’re just fake.

13. The Ashley Madison Effect
Jo Dee Messina and Garth Brooks come to town, and the Bates have front row seats for the concert. Jo Dee and Garth also have brought some opening acts with them too in the form of Right Said Fred and Taylor Swift. Gil and Kelly are not happy about this. Especially when the Fred's start showing off their "moves" towards the Bates daughters, while Taylor shows off hers to the Bates sons. All of a sudden, the 19 kids start to have feelings for the Fred's or Taylor (depending on gender), which could cause their family to be torn apart by the sudden lust!

I love the Bates family and so looked forward to the new season. It’s refreshing to see families raising their children in the love of Jesus and teaching them how to respect others and property. It’s just too bad our nation is turning on it’self and destroying from within. I hope RUclips will keep showing videos of the family.

The grandkids learn what happens when you release methane in church. Harsh trips to the woodshed! Not to mention TONS of community service. Meanwhile, the community must deal with a man who is addicted to chili, and has no class whatsoever with his crude bodily functions. Oh, and he also has 19 pet skunks called Zachary, Michaela, Erin, Lawson, Nathan, Alyssa, Tori, Trace, Carlin, Josie, Katie, Jackson, Warden, Isaiah, Addallee, Ellie, Callie-Anna, Judson and Jeb. Nothing conspicuous at all!

5. Party All Night
The oldest grandchild is engaged, and to celebrate such a joyous occasion, the grandparents put on a party that Jesus would certainly approve of. Slight problem, party crashers get in and stealthily steal family heirlooms that are too valuable to replace, and since the cops consider this to be a "crisis #8", the Bates have to do all the detective work themselves.

Lol....things that "MIGHT" have contributed. Real video title "We have no specific evidence, so here are a bunch of guesses!" We watched the show and enjoyed it despite their religious views. The only thing mentioned that might hold water was their association with the Duggars and the fear that something similar could happen (not Josh's crime, just some surprise scandal). But like this video SPECULATION we'll never know. Obviously, hasn't affected the Bates' and their multiple youtube channels are really active, life moves on.
10. The Homeless Problem
The number of homeless people have been increasing lately in the city. So the Bates teaches the kids the best thing to do, to deal with the matter. Ignore them, even when the homeless starts sleeping within the Bates estate!

3. Garbage Night
The grandkids learn what happens when you don't take out the garbage. The garbage turns into a mutant monster that eats kids!
23. Hunting Grounds
While having a family friendly night of running over protesters upset over the reversal of Roe vs. Wade, criminals have managed to booby trap the Bates estate with sleeping gas! When the Bates wake up, they find themselves separated from the rest of the family in a place known as the Killing Grounds. Runned by an old enemy of theirs.
8. The Sinister Symphony
It's concert night for the Bates as they attend Lawson's mega huge concert at the local arena. But something is amiss when everybody falls into a deep sleep and have their pockets picked clean! Lawson declares his innocence even if most of his family don't believe him. The few that do set out to find out who's really behind this.
