I've put in a lot of vanities and never knew there was a special plumbers putty for granite and it would have been an expensive lesson to learn. You the man,Richard !!!!
I was in the first graduating class at South Albany High School, Albany, Oregon. Only a month into classes the designers and builders realized a campus style needed something to direct the rain. They put in chains into upended culverts filled with river rock. Worked well.
As nice and well kept as the owners keep their house, I would bet 100$ that the sink and cabinet have not set in the living room for 7 years. In the garage? maybe, not in the living room. But hey.. kinda like Hollywood.
Wow, really good episode, guys! 👍 I learned something new (as always). Never heard of a rain chain (it's nice to see Roger!). Also, Richard is looking good. And to top it all off, the famous duo, Sonny and Pops. Perfect! 😊
I just placed a thump up for Tommy's roared with laughter at the beginning of vlog. Nice work and nice see you smiling bro. All the way from Arabian desert
Please edit the email read clip and the full vanity install together. The weirdest and funniest one I've seen. Turns out it happened because of a robbery which is brutal but to just leave that thing in the middle of the house. Talk about ignoring your problems.
sorry, that rain chain does nothing but splatter the water all over her steps. I like roger but this was not a good idea. building a gutter and pie to lead the mass of the water elsewhere would be better.
The thumbnail makes it look like this lady caught him stealing her plant 🤣
"Yes it was, Richard. It was by design."
Always good to see Roger, hope he is doing well 👍🏽🙏🏽

I can't believe Rich forgot the trim rings behind the shut-off valves!
Very good episode filled with allot of valuable info...I love the guys they each have a different skill set that makes them unique!

Did Richard have to take the sink loose to finish installing the faucets.. it looked like they were binding.
i love ask this old house
Been watching TOH since it was new. Still great content and people.
RE: Brush care. Nice! I wrap my brushes, using the bag(s) they come in. Never letting them dry out (after use. bristles only). Is this a good idea?
Tommy is great 👍!
By coincidence I'm about to install a rain chain.

You use escuptions where it is visible.
Roger, I don't think she had ideas of working in a skirt?
So wait, I still don't get why the vanity is in the middle of the room.
Laziness
Richard sneaks in a smack at the end.
They kept the blooper @0:40
Loved it
@ 16:53 Is twisting the copper pipe a concern? Things like that do not go well for me.

What happened to Scott?
Looks like hes about to take a wizz on the side off the house.

"So, how many pocket books do you have?" (Insert "Blazing saddles" line here) "Scuze me while I whip this out. ARGH!!"
so now the dog whisperer isa house painter? I guess you have to make ends meat when the show died
Looks and sounds like Rodger is on some serious medications
Adhesion, not surface tension.
One-time use brushes are ecologically unsustainable.
So is This Old House testing for Covid amongst the hosts and guests?
This is an old episode
