I'm booing Jacob Trouba and so is my entire section if he still on this team. If it was so important for Trouba to stay he should have made his whole contract no movement and taken a little less $. If he was Mr. Family man he should have taken his wife into consideration when he signed his original contract, BUT HE DIDNT & CHOSE TO TAKE MORE $ INSTEAD OF A TRU NO MVMT. Now we are stuck with a bum earning way too much bc he doesn't want to leave even though he no longer has a no movement clause. Of course fans are going to boo him, we support whats best for the team not Jacob Trouba strangling any hopes of winning a cup this year. We the fans knew it was a huge mistake to make Trouba the captain and give him a high salary when in fact there were other players that deserved more money and no we won't miss Trouba when he was out with injury Schneider took over and did a way better job. If Trouba would have been a better all around player this whole situation wouldn't be even thought about and to remove the captaincy from Trouba will not go well for the organization now all that can be done is for the organization to sit on a egg for one more season.

He was on the ice for practically every goal vs Florida. The other issue is that his replacement could be better. The Rangers replaced Darius Kaspiritis with an AHL defenseman named Dan Girardi. They didn’t take him out of the lineup for over a decade.
The hard part is discussing it without having mentioning his wife’s occupation. Not her fault, but that shouldn’t prevent the Rangers if they can trade him
