What a great swimmer Otis is! LOL at trying to teach an Italian to queue 😂 Loving the racing drone shots.

He really grew in to it! As a puppy he wouldn’t go near the water then on a trip to Denmark we had the SUP out in a shallow lagoon and he just kept walking out with us until it got deep enough he had to swim. Now you almost can’t keep him out of the water!!
There’ll be more racing drone stuff to come - promised!

Just found your channel today. Love it... I've seen a few videos already. Glad to see her purse was in the truck the whole time... was wondering if you ever just did a video of the maintenance stuff like filling the water tanks . Emptying the cassette. Running checks through all the systems. Even just cooking or washing clothes at camp. Things of that nature . Idk if it would be boring to anyone else watching, but for me, I find those videos educational and oddly satisfying

Awww thanks so much for subscribing and watching some of the back catalogue! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
We do bits and pieces and the plan is to do some more of that stuff, in fact we’ve got an oil change coming up along with all filters change, so we’ll definitely be filming that!
We’ll keep in mind the washing and camp life etc etc etc and be sure to film some of it for the channel!

Did you have to register the truck for exportation and get a licence as its ex Military? Have you ever had any issues with this aspect at borders etc?

Since it’s not a permanent export, we’ve had no issues so far. There is a bit of a grey area, but people have been overlanding in ex-military trucks (Bedfords, DAFs, Land Rovers, KATs etc etc) without registering them, for years so we’re hoping it continues the same way.

@@globaltraces Thank you for the reply, we are currently planning our DAF so was interested to hear your experience with this. Long may this continue to be the case. Love the videos

what do you use to find such spots like this with the truck ?

    • @globaltraces

It’s a combination of Park4Night, iOverlander and Google Maps, as well as recommendations from other overlanders we meet. Usually we’ll consult the first two and then depending on the location, explore around a bit if we can.
