Really enjoyed this overview of several castles that are relatively accessible from Torrevieja! Thanks very much for this interesting video, guys 😊👍🏻!!
Thanks for a lovely tour and well done for the commentary, which takes some doing. The votes are in and you have got the vote from us! Catch up with you soon. Hasta pronto.
Helen did just a great job narrating all the destinations . I wished you explored all the rooms inside those castles that were at least open. It's one of my favorite things to do. The Santuari de Santa Maria Magdalena was pretty impressive on the outside. Great job with the drone Andy👏
Thanks- and thanks for watching 👍 we got in every castle we could, and every room that was open in every castle we visited. Unfortunately a lot are closed, or close early on a Sunday when we can get out and aren't working. More castles soon!
Yours was the first video I saw of the place, and decided I wanted to get up there with the drone... I then saw an article about the castles near the rio vinolopo and off we went on our way to el campello.... thanks for watching (and the inspiration) 👍
We were on a limited time frame trying to get all done in one day (a sunday)-there's more castles, Bodegas and inside some we couldn't get into we want to revisit... thanks for watching 👍
I must congratulate them, because they are not the prototype of British people in Spain (beach, paella, Benidorm, Magaluf). They are dedicated to exploring the country in which they live and are interested in its geography, history and culture. Let's hope that more British people come out of that small world of Alicante or Mazarron and explore the rest of the country a little.
Another great place worth a visit is Castillitos Military Battery Cartagena, just don't take a big car to it as the road up is horrendous! But worth it when you get there, and drone footage will be stunning!

I would second not driving in Sax, especially if you are trying to find the castle. We literally got stuck in the back streets as they are so narrow, don't trust the sat nav... Sax was shut when we got there also.
Ha ha ha. Several places were a nightmare trying to follow sat nav. Problem is it takes you somewhere stupid saying car park which is a complete lie lol

The Sanctuary in Novelda is really stunning, I did a video there, and its great for a walk around along with the castle.

Thank you! We love this comment. We love the diversity of Spain, it’s culture and history. We’re glad you enjoyed the video.

Only problem with the drone there is its a military zone... that's why none from us so far...
