'Fascism'??? That propaganda strategy is pure clown-world. There has been a complete role-reversal since the end of the Cold War. Russia is now defending Christian Civilization against California p3do-marxism. The American Left are offspring of the b0lsheviks. They see Russia as the last barrier preventing them from annihilating the remnants of Christianity. If Russia starts embracing a pro-marxist propaganda strategy, that is a very very dangerous game. I think it's absolutely disgraceful the way that Britain and the US have constantly failed or turned a blind eye to the part Russia/the Soviet Union played in defeating Nazi Germany and for them to invite Zelensky and for Biden to compare the Russo-Ukraine war to what happened in 1939 is unforgivable .
Why was Zelensky there , who was he representing - the Germans or the Soviet Union ?
Stalin begged the Allies to invade France in '42 but the US waited until the Soviets had done the job for them on the Eastern Front - I believe by 1944 the German Army consisted of 3.9m men - 2.4m of them were at the Eastern Front .
The Russians were heroes to a man and the West should be thanking them every June 6th .

The Armed Forces recaptured several more blocks in Vovchansk during the counterattack, - Bild
According to the publication, the occupiers occupied the northern part of the city and several central blocks in mid-May, but in recent days, Ukrainian defenders drove them out of the center. In addition to this, the Russian military says that part of the Russians in the city are surrounded and cut off.
The publication's expert Julian Röpke noted that Russian troops continued to withdraw and attack the lost areas with aircraft, missiles and artillery.
He added that to transfer reinforcements from the southern to the northern bank of the Vovcha River, the Armed Forces of Ukraine used the German Biber tank bridge-builder, which the invaders attacked with a Lancet drone. However, there is no indication that the crossing is now out of order.

US would have got the Germans with atomic bombs by 1946 or 1947 .....Also the USSR was really fighting for its survival& NOT for an Allied Victory in 1941-43. In fact Stalin's ministers actually talked to the Germans in 1943 about a separate peace before the Kursk battle (when their was a big lull in the action on the Eastern Front). IF Hitler had offered Stalin the right "deal" at the point the USSR might have left the war in Europe leaving the West in the lurch..

Alexander this is one of your best podcasts ever and you've made many. I wholeheartedly agree that these commemorative events should also include recognition of the Russian contribution to WW2 and acknowledge their extreme sacrifice as well as pay tribute and honour our own men who gave their lives or fought in the war and survived. Peace should be the ultimate goal and the west should be working for this, sadly just the opposite is the case and that's to our eternal discredit.

Apparently Zelensky is a star of today's proceedings, except that no one remembers, or those who know choose to forget, that at the beginning of Operation Barbarosa, Ukranians tore down the pictures of Stalin, replaced them with those of Hitler, and generally collaborated with the Wehrmacht. According to Guderian, everything was going well between Germans and Ukranians, until Hitler decided to dispatch Reich Kommissar Hocht and the Einzersgruppen, who inflicted pogroms and brutal cleansening campaigns that turned the favourable pro-German sentiment, to a resolutely opposite one.

The Russians really can't hit moving targets in real time in the vast Ukrainian rear area running back to the Polish border. They might be able to strike moving stuff 20-30 km behind the frontlines , but its really "hit or miss". Mainly miss.
