- This year I changed up my Christmas decor. I decided to make some new Christmas stockings and I used some sequin fabric. How To Make DIY Sequins Christmas Stockings. I wanted to change my Christmas decor this year and use more blush and rose gold tones. This year I decided to update my Christmas stockings and I handmade my very own. These were really easy to make. Don't worry if you do not have a sewing machine as you can hand sew these stockings.

This fabric would be adorable wrapped around Styrofoam balls with ribbon and tiny flowers. Tying the tree into your mantle decor. So much fun.

I remember making 26 Red felt Christmas stocking for my sons kindergarten class hand trimmed in White with each child’s name in gold roping..then he was to sick to make the party but anyway that’s life with a 5 year old.

I use fabric glue on certain applications too...and it's washable. Love these little socks.

Cute! Another tip is to source materials in thrift stores. I went to Value village yesterday and there was sooo many used Christmas stockings. A lot of them looked tacky but if you want faux fur and a template you can easily find it 😉
