@@daMyahStar Try setting the gain a bit higher, either by the guitar’s volume knob or by the amp’s volume/master or both. If gain doesn’t simplify clearer hammer-ons, then consider lowering the action (the distance between the strings and the fretboard), but do this only after watching a few videos on how to set-up a guitar properly. Good luck
@@daMyahStar If you can add a compressor it will fix that. Compressors make quiet sounds louder and loud sounds quieter. If I were to play a tapping riff completely clean, it might make basically no sound, but the same riff with a little bit of gain and a compressor pedal will be loud and clear.

The underlying concept is basically the same and it shows Melanie is really good at R&B and with musical talents. Amazing to watch!

When she spoke about vibrato and showed how she did it man I’m so used to the violin vibrato which is a more vertical movement whereas a guitar is a horizontal movement, is gonna take awhile to adapt

@@gideonk123 thanks for the advice! Melanie was going direct in to a Benson Monarch amp. But ... she can sound good on pretty much any guitar.

yeah - there's no correct way to do it! Melanie is inspired by Eric Gales so check him out if you want to hear more of this approach.
violin vibrato works too, just incorporate a little bit of the guitaristic vibrato to taste.
***Violin vibrato:- more horizontal
Guitar vibrato:- more vertical
