This video was super helpful, I just bought captionator, but it was way off. The phone version of cap cut still has free features, captions being one of them!! Not sure why I never thought of green screening it off.

GReat video thanks. I was trying to get Captionator to work and having some issues and because RUclips knows all this video popped up. I think there are a couple of changes to Cap Cut since you did this like exporting the SRT needs pro but using the method you've used it works well.

Same here - I feel like Captionator has gotten worse if anything. It's insane that this is literally the best workaround the FCP users. Premiere Pro and Davinci are getting monthly, if not more frequent updates, while FCP has barely gotten updates in the past year. Anyways, this workaround walkthrough is hugely appreciated!

Hello Real Joey, I thought you did an excellent job explaining how to use Capcut for creating captions. You were clear, concise and showed visually where to click. A few suggestions if I may? I'm a newbie. Capcut kept telling me I had to join pro in order to export, however if "Caption Exporting" is checked off then you can export without having to join pro. Next, I had a hard time keying blue out, eventually it worked, I don't know how? Maybe it had to render? I think it would be helpful if the key doesn't work right away have a few solutions. Finally, in Capcut I was only using audio and didn't disable while export from Capcut. Once in Final Cut I had duel audio, not a big deal just disabled capcut audio in Final Cut. The end result was outstanding. Overall, please keep up the exceptional videos. I'm confident your channel will grow beyond your wildest dreams. I subscribed. Enjoy and have fun.
