I've always admired Geoff. I remember when he cam we to the states and the first time I saw him at a race. It was a national harescramble on the east coast. I remember him battling my brother Ed, Mark Hyde and Fred Hoess. He always cad clean g I goggles on his koala bear he wore. He almost won Blackwater in 1987 if I remember correctly. I was a young kid and he always had time for me. What an amazing person and a true BADASS!!!!
Fast Eddy Lojak, and fast Freddy Hoess, I grew up in Stanhope NJ watching Freddy. I could learn more in an hour from Freddy than a year on my own. Geoff was incredibly fast also. These guys were the pioneers of the GNCC we know today and owe everything to these guys completing the Blackwater on a bike from the 80's!! Kaleb Russell, Josh Strang and most of today's riders don't understand just how good they have it.
Man, what a great video! I’m not a great rider but I do love it. I also really dig seeing “older” dudes out there still ripping! I’m 51 and I also dread the day I can’t ride anymore. Hopefully that’s a long way off. Non riding folks just don’t understand.
You’ve summed up what riding dirt bikes is all about you’ve created that good feeling factor regardless of ability sometimes the ride is more than enough with a bunch of good mates your children & Grandchildren...!!!
Still one of my favourite vids old enough to be my father how funny enough raced amca Mx but even his style of rideing let alone tips are some of the best.
When your from the blue mtns yep we Trail ride and we Road ride we adventure ride but we all love our trail riding. I always remember chatting with Geoff in Blackheath. I got addicted when watching him rap around Bilpin moto x track. When the ol Xr ‘a we’re the thing Daryl’s was cool Thumpernats was so cool. Geoff we will always ride until we can’t walk. Keep riding keep living keep being us.
That looks like an 81 Maico 490... with a reed valve cylinder?! Looks like someone had a desire for heavy artillery and swapped one of those bad-ass 83 cylinders on. Illuminati confirmed!
Beautiful moments, great your doing what you love with your mates aka buddies in the states here. Great content, the real deal, thank you for sharing, love it man, brings back some good memories for me as well 👍🏻

The clip would have been so much better without the music .. I want to hear the bikes .. not some annoying banjo plucker
