Happy birthday Harley Benton and congratulations Ann Versary!! » Check out the 25th Anniversary Firemist Gold Collection: bit.ly/3M4MYjj » And Harley Benton's US Reverb Store bit.ly/3YOq6rO
Hey dude I've noticed that as your guitar collection has grown your playing has gone down hill. Your early riffs and tracks were inspiring. Unfortunately you're slowly turning into a guitar infomercial ❤
That Tele looks damn good with the satin finish and the black trim line really stands out! And I'm not normally a fan of gold, but satin instead of a gloss finish looks way better!
The neck pocket on my 25th Anniversary Fusion III is totally snug and as good a fit as any I've had. In fact, I have no quality quibbles. I do, however, have a couple of design issues. That volume knob position you mentioned isn't ideal. It doesn't bug me a lot but I may move it at some point. The jack socket is also not in the best place so I may move that too. I bought the guitar to play, not to look at, and I like it well enough to be pretty sure I'll keep it, so I'm happy to tweak it without worrying about wrecking the resale value. On the whole, a really nice guitar with an almost unbelievable set of features for the price. And the pickups don't even suck!
To this Day I will continue to Praise my SC Custom For Being So Cheap. HB is The Prince To Take Over Once Epiphones & Squiers Start to become Unobtainable
Epiphone are hard at work pricing themselves out of the market, trying to see how much they can milk the inflation excuse, but there's loads of good budget options from Squier, still. I would recommend anyone thinking about Epiphone to consider Harley Benton or Vintage (UK brand working with Trev Wilkinson) instead. HB are great for the money, and Vintage are just straight up great, much better out of the box than Epis at a much lower price. Superb workhorses if you don't want to roll over for Gibson/Epiphone's price gouging.
@@Broccoli_Highkicks This Is True. My Old Music Shop In Steamtown Used To Push Vintage Like MAD! I'd See like 5 Vintages To 2 Epiphones Leaving That Shop. But Rest assured Until Squire Makes A Kingfish Model I'll be Holding Out For A Chambered 04' telecaster With the T.O.M
I got a B-stock Korg Prologue from Thomann and the packaging was absolutely shocking. They sent it in the original beat up half open inner box wrapped in the 2mm foam blanket and that was it, no attempt to put it in a fresh outer box or replace the foam padding. _Somehow_ it's never given me any problems but that's speaks more to the Prologue being a tank than Thomann's terrible QC on B-stocks.
I and many others I presume want a higher spec traditional type Tele along the lines of the fusion models but with a high quality ashtray and some quality single coils in a selection of colours/figuring, the TE62 is ok but could do with some flame maple neckage and a gloss flame maple fretboard. On their websites spec list they always call the fretboard a fingerboard which is incorrect, fingerboards are fretless like violins , violas, cellos, double bass, please let them know!
Just got a harely benton had a fusion t but the g string on the first one choked out the second one I got the fusion t with emg pick ups cane there was a chip in it and the g string still chokes out even after a gusting fret board but I was so bummed I love metal teles and especially with 24 frets man it sucked
No offense so please don’t take this the wrong way, but I know you are a metal player, but not everyone is. When you review a guitar it’s always nice to hear what the guitar sounds like clean, with the eq at noon just for reference. Other than that, excellent review.
Hey Hunter! Would you recommend the gold single cut as a good mod platform? Id love to drop some active pickups in one and use it as a heavy chunky chugger
Probably only if you love the satin gold top color scheme and/or the d-shape roasted flame maple neck. Otherwise, the SC-550II at a couple hundred bucks less is probably better bang for buck as a mod platform
Hope these are not limited to just a few hundred pieces or they will probably already be sold out on back orders. Why can they not put the roasted neck on the 550 and have it as a regular product
Wouldn't you say that's UPS, not Harley Benton sending you destroyed packaging? I have never ever received anything from Thomann in that state. Ever. But never have they used UPS to send me anything.
I got an ST from them which arrived via UPS, having apparently been dropped on its headstock. Dent in the top of the headstock and cracks either side of the neck pocket. They exchanged it no questions asked, to be fair.
The guitars look beautiful as far as we can tell from our side. But why make them all sound pretty much the same when they definitely have better capabilities? Too bad... Clean for example?
I've had a very similar model to that. Twice. Built of out of very great materials, but built by people who don't give it a shit and sold by people who gave even less. Unless you're happy doing a full setup and fret dress after buying a guitar, don't buy Harley Benton, even their "top end" models.
I owned 3 HB guitars, and in each case the necks were too fat for my hands expecially up the neck of course. Had to sell them all, as I found them unplayable for my average sized hands. Additionally when I asked them , they told me that their necks are just fine. Bullshit.
Happy birthday Harley Benton and congratulations Ann Versary!!

I loooooovvvvveeeee gollllllldddd
Just noticed these. Happy to see you have a video out.
I am most interested in the JMs. That's the first one with stainless steel frets.
That Tele looks damn good with the satin finish and the black trim line really stands out!
And I'm not normally a fan of gold, but satin instead of a gloss finish looks way better!
That satin gold with roasted maple looks clean. Usually not big on gold guitars, but these look great
that misprint is a keeper
Was it feminist?
@@idiotburns what do you mean?
@@idiotburns It was Ann Frank's Harley Benton.
Now that you've said I think silver would have looked so sick for these!
Just saw the announcement of these and you already had a video. Appreciate the thoughts on these, I may pick one up at some point.
Deryck did play a gold top in the early 2000s, I think he played it on SNL in 2001
🔥🎉
I never thought I'd want a gold guitar, but here I am, wanting that SC
That Harley Benton is Bound for the hang.~ GIVE IT TO ME!
Cool video! I would love to hear more about the Singlecut. I ordered one as soon as they dropped.
Keep up the great work.
Should of grabbed a lp custom instead or a prs SC
Also it sounds horrible and out of tune😂
NEXT BOX!!
1:32 "BE GONE HUMAN!"
They should've slapped this colour on an EX-84 or 76 as well. Gold explorer would've been badass.
Buddy and I already ordered ours! Single Cut for him, Jazz Bass for me.
That is such a metal kitty kat!😻
So which of the 3 chugs the best? The sc sounded very muffled and the fusion 3 perhaps the best?
FWIW If I could only keep one, it would be the Fusion T
@@agufish Do you prefer the Fusion-T because of the Tesla VR-3 over the VR-2 in the Fusion-III,or just body style preference?
ive got the black version of this it s beautiful. Just a nice clean take on the traditional tele
To hell with these guitars. I want to cuddle that cat 😂😻
the single cut one looks and seems like a SC450 rebadge
Have you tried the Guitar Max Harley Benton? I love the look of them, and I'd love to get one.
The single cut...ooooooohhhh. I want....❤❤

I think the Tesla pickups are better than the Roswell ones.
Damn you got the single cut already? :) Over here in Europe it's at least a 2 months waiting list...
On the Fusion T bridge above the high E saddle there is a part, what is it? (Looks like a gas valve, but obviously isn't)

Those Tesla pickups are a noticable upgrade from the dull and lifeless roswells.
Very useful remarks. Thanks
The tele and the SC are gorgeous. Sad I'm absolutely broke rn.
I should invest some money on upgrade my first guitar.
Me with a gold top LP, drooling over that gold top LP
Are these the same fusions with EMGs? What are these Teslas?

what is that thing in the headstock grabbing the strings?
Shame there isnt a hardtail version of the strat or tele shape, they look pretty good none the less
I've been eyeballing the black stealth tele with emg's

I'm not a t style fan, or gold, but that looks badass with all the contours and the roasted flame maple neck and board.
Nice Guitars, not available in Australia so cannot check em out, but can order from Thomann, lol. Cheers
If it makes you feel any better I got a box of 5 acoustic panels with the standard UPS attention to care!
Damn those guitars look good.
Now I know his video editor uses premiere pro... Let me know when you know 😂
My editor was me this time lol 🤦♂️ 🤦♂️
Great Mod? Ann Versary High Integrity? 🙂
What is the black bar that you have over the strings on the headstock that is only there while you are playing these guitars? Is that a tuner?
It's to stop sympathetic vibrations behind the nut.
@@lynnmatsui nice, any chance you have a link to it?
Lovely video! You mention the neck profile of the sc and I was wondering how does this neck compare to sc-550 ii of harley benton?
Does Hunter do any instructional videos? Where did he learn to play metal so well?
Quick question mate, what tuning do you use on your tests ? Thanks a lot !
Who at Harley Benton said, "It's our 25th Anniversary, let's do a bunch of guitars and paint them gold"?...lmao
I want one of those strats for some reason haha
My TE-25 is at the Post office now.
Well, at least I wasn’t the only one translating the “Store With Order Reference”
Happy 25th Ann versary to Harvey Denton
Nice! What sort of profile would you say the fusion has? Could it be a shredder guitar?

The tele looks like a Chapman model🤭
I've never had a shipment from HB that looked as good as yours. Mine looked like they'd traveled through a war zone.
Getsuga tensho? 👀
I wanted one of those pretty bad, but I already have too many guitars...
you need to do more
hi, can someone pls tell me what is the name of what angufish attatch to guitar headstock 8:32
Probably a Jimmy Clip?
@@Sticky_Tea thank you soooo much for answering whats doing that jimmy clip do you have any idea?
@@cimen9793 it's to reduce the ringing of the strings behind the nut

We desperately need a harley benton 7 string Floyd rose model!!!
I think the hb35plus in that livery.AWinner.
To much distortion they all sound the same. Please cleans best.

do teslas in these sound better than the roswells in the other fusions?
Yee

Roswell pickups are so muddy i hate them in my SC Custom 2
I WANT A SIGNATURE MODEL!!!!! DAMNIT!!!
Hmmm.... I see that ENGL absolutely destroyed the Archon in clarity and aggressive mid grind...... bye bye PRS, thanks for playing! 🙄😒🤣
Isn’t 25 years a silver anniversary?
Each one had an issue, a flaw.
They sent you first run rejects.😏
only real ones know about CLICK ANALYSE TO BEGIN
They gotta do normal production models with similar specs for the sc and stuff brooooooooooooo c'mon

Man that Archon sounds good. And those guitars sound amazing! I was already thinking of picking up one up but now I’m like 👀
Crap on a roasted maple stick.
Those string trees turn me off
