Hi to all, RecordMyDesktop is for use with Linux. I didn´t found it for Windows. Therefore I searched for another software and found ActivePresenter. It´s for free and looks easy to work with. You can download it on the homepage from atomi systems ( atomisystems.com/activepresenter/free-edition/ )
I get up to the stroke editing part, after clip/set, and I can no longer click the image. It's like the layer order changed. That then stops me from being able to clip the protruding object (in my image it's a building, not a balloon) later on. Any ideas?
Tried for a few more hours. It seems like the issue is my bezier box around the background image doesn't clip the image correctly. So all the text and borders come out fine, but my protruding background effect is simply the bezier lines, sitting in front of the text, with no image inside. Any ideas? I'm at the point where I've memorized every word in this video, haha.
I have watched this one hundred times and have followed every detail but I cannot for the life of me get the layer with the outline near the end of the video. I can’t! It will not show me the two white lines. I can even do this whole thing with my own photos but I cannot get it to outline. What can I do!?! Lol
clip tool is really great tool, even a bit easier than Photoshop masks (in my point of view)! thanks for this tuto again! 1 question for you: I will have to create posters and flyers for a company and I'm wondering if Inkscape is enough or I really must invest in Illustrator..?! I know AI is probably better but Inkscape suprises me more and more :)

Why is my version missing some functionality?
