I would kindly ask our Ministers to drive around in their areas and see the garbage decorating every street. This is something that leaves a lasting impression, if cleanliness is meant to be next to Godliness. All these big eyecatching developments, theme parks etc etc have been seen all over the world but here they witness garbage and smells, broken glass and plastic bags everywhere that will last them a lifetime. Tourists loved Goa for the coconut trees, rolling green fields, tree covered hills, rivers,streams, waterfalls and quiet culture which they could find on a rustic slow drive and not in cars speeding on highways, where everyone is concerned about reaching their destinations. Definitely not for blaring music, crowded streets, flashing lights etc. They calmed their nerves on a beach on a dark moonlit night to the rhythm of waves lashing the shore and soft music. Look at what we are offering them today?
