Sorry for the weird music change at 8:20 - had a copyright issue and had to replace the audio.
Just so you know, every time you wonder whether something would be interesting, I answer ‘Yes please.’ I am loving how you are sharing your learning process. Very generous of you!
Aww thank you I appreciate that!! I never know what people will find interesting. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Ayo, when did you get to half a million subscribers? That's wild! When I started watching you, you were at like 200k. Awesome stuff, congrats!
It came up quick!! Thank you so much 🙏🏻
Absolutely deserved, but how did that happen?
This might be weird to say, but I think this foolishfrankie guy might be a pro saxophone player. Quite possibly. Crazy.
Working towards that!🙏🏻
@FoolishFrankie well you do get paid to play so technically you're already there! ❤
the best notif to get tbh
🥺🙏🏻
That trumpet player has a great tone. Very pure.
JD Chaisson!!🔥
Another great upload from frankie keep it up. Still waiting for "The best wedding songs to learn" vid 😅
Thank you!! To be honest you can probably just look up “wedding reception playlist” on Spotify and learn all of those!
The studio seems super cool
Love the recording vibes
Always a great day when Frankie uploads! Congrats on a successful recording session, mate! Can't wait for the tracks to be released, superb work from Anton, you, and everybody else (also that's one of the most rad recording studios I've seen!)
Thank you🥺🙏🏻
So cool! Can't wait to hear the final tracks!
☺️🙏🏻
I love watching your channel, Frankie. It helps me imagine a road not taken playing professionally for a career in software engineering. I love watching your firsts. I wish you all the best luck as you continue your career.
Thank you so much🙏🏻🙏🏻
An analysis series would be super cool. I really find engaging hearing how professionals judge what's their best product
Love it! Feed us content like this haha + gigs... the authentic life experience is what everyone wants to see.
Thank you I will try my best!!
I'm gonna be watching you now...watching your progress... very fine vids and you are a most humble man.
I appreciate the kind words🙏🏻🙏🏻
You all sounded great, that studio looks amazing. Can't wait to hear these tunes!
Man thank you so much!!
Great video! It's so cool to see you doing such a wide variety of gigs! I know these opportunities will keep opening up for you! Keep up the great work! Can't wait for future videos!
Thank you🥺🙏🏻
I can’t wait to hear this whole album! I’m already spinning “Low Down Squeeze” on the show, and this tune sounds killer!
Let’s goooo🔥🙏🏻
Great sound and a beautiful studio! I bet the acoustics are out of this world!
Thank you very much! And it’s pretty dead which is how it should be for a studio!
Every studio is different... yet all the same. Do not fear the Red Light, have fun and good things happen. ❤❤ Can't wait for the release!
❤️🙏🏻
That recording studio is awesome! I really liked the video, it was very interesting. Keep going Frankie ^_^
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you Kinto:)
congrats on the professional recording session, you guys sounded great
the trumpet sitting in the low range with you was impressive as fuck!
Thank you!!

Glad you enjoyed it!🙏🏻🙏🏻

Glad to see some things are just universal, no matter the players or skill or instruments or genre…
3:55 absolutely the most relatable thing ever
Totally love getting to see things like this inside the music profession! Awesome stuff Frankie! And yes, would love to see more about this stuff
Thank you!!🙏🏻
Wow, first long form I watched from this channel. It’s amazing keep it up!
You couldn’t possibly have watched the whole thing it’s only been live for 6 minutes!
But thank you lol:)
Trust I watched in 1.5x
Hi, i saw José James at Colours of Ostrava 3 days ago. Made me think of you. He was incredible, amazing vibes. Never experienced something like that in my life.
That sounds tight, Frankie! Showbiz!
Thank you!!😎
That studio looks amazing! You should do a studio tour for a future video.
If I’m ever back there maybe I’ll do a more in depth tour!
This channel inspired me to learn to learn the sax and im so thankful keep it up ❤❤❤
That’s amazing to hear!🙏🏻
FOOLISH FRANKIE EEEH! THE BEST RUclipsR EVER!!
Far from it but I appreciate that!!🥺🙏🏻
This was really interesting! Thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!
so crazy its amazing how successful youve become i rememeber you st 3k
I appreciate that❤️
That's a cool studio.
It’s sick!
Beautiful Church. Maybe one day you can send me the Amazing Grace solo you did. Nice recording session! Cheers. 😊
We never played amazing grace but thank you!!
@@FoolishFrankie On the live feed where we requested songs. You said you took down due to copyright.
Yessir, go Frankie!
❤️
woohoo frankie time!
🫣
I just bought that neck strap. It brings the sax mouthpiece to my mouth every time perfect and does not change. It's also great nothing is on my neck. How do you like it?
I love it!!
I really love youre tone, do you have any tips for embouchure? I've been playing/borrowing a tenor saxophone since my sophomore year in highschool, and tone & faster tonguing is something that ive been struggling with.
Hey thanks!! Honestly I’ve been trying to relax my embouchure as much as I can and just focus on using a good airstream.
I was the wrong that commented about you looking like Groovy Gavin, he isn’t bad looking at all, y’all both look great :) anyways have a great day man
Oh thanks I guess lol😂
the saxophone shirt goes hard
Thanks it will be available soon:)
I wanna see more omegle videos, I don’t know why, but the chaotic nature is awesome.
Ahh I haven’t been making as many of those lately but I do have a really good idea for one that I’ve been sitting on…
Imposter syndrome sucks! I feel it all the time at work, just remember you’re there for a reason and wouldn’t be there if they didn’t want you!
Thank you man🙏🏻🙏🏻
I saw the notification so I watched😊
Thank you🥺❤️
Coming from a beginner to intermediate sax player. Love the content keep it up. You're doing good things. I had a question, I want to have music as a career, should I get a college degree in music or should I continue to be self taught? I ask this because I'm unsure of what would be better for a long term career and of course I want your honest opinion with it.
Thank you so much! I made a video about that: ruclips.net/video/YgE8lBP6QeQ/видео.html
This is also a good video to watch: ruclips.net/video/TzpynQ_-nwM/видео.html
@@FoolishFrankie Thank you for the assistance. I really appreciate you!
early to a foolish frankie video for the first time ever
Thank you for watching 🥺🙏🏻

Hiiii
Hey! I’ve played the piano for a few years now and have been interested in learning the saxophone. I think it’s only going to be a hobby for me as I don’t think I will join any bands, but as the saxophone isn’t able to play any chords I don’t know if it is worth playing as a solo instrument. I would love to hear your thoughts and sorry that this is a long comment. Cheers! 🎷
Honestly I think you should try it and see if you like it! If you do, great! If not, no harm:)
Where did you get the T-shirt?? 👕 Sorry, it sounds great. I'm not keen on recording - I'm not confident enough to be sure I will always get it right and that can make it all very stressful. Anyway, well done!!
It’s a merch sample that I made! Will be available to buy hopefully next month:)
@@FoolishFrankie I play all four in various bands (not as grand as it sounds....) so it would be really cool! 😀
I can totally relate. I get excited when someone shares a recording of a gig or rehearsal, but when I hear myself, I hear the bad intonation and rhythm. I think WTF. That's not how I felt after the session. What can I do to minimize that harsh self criticism?
I have no idea to be honest.
This is no hate to you Frankie, I really love your videos so much, but does Frankie look like GroovyGavin at all to anyone? Or is that just me?
Idk who that is but since you said no hate to me my guess is they aren’t good looking? 😂
@@FoolishFrankie nah bro they look very good I just didn’t want you to take that the wrong way
Things that mess with my brain slightly when I notice them. When the trumpet and sax play melody together at around 2:00, the trumpet seems to be panned slightly left and the sax is panned slightly right. but from the observers perspective this should be flipped. (Not hating, just sharing the oddities that get me.)
Woooaahh I didn’t even notice this. Not sure what’s causing it even. That’s just the onboard audio from my camera (which records in stereo, but it’s normally pretty accurate). My only guess is there was a panel right behind my camera and maybe the trumpet was bouncing off of that and getting picked up more from one of the back mics than the front. Strange
You have to be pretty careful with your mental state in a studio session. I had a very embarrassing moment at one session where I reacted to a cracked note and I accidentally knocked over my music stand and completely ruined the take. Definitely would like to have that one back. Fortunately we were able to get a good take on the next try but it still cost us some time and time is money in the studio.
Yes exactly!!
My dude. I love you man. But this video is expiicit. Could you block out the swear words.
That’s why I put the warning at the end! Sorry, trying to keep it authentic. The reality is 99% of working musicians swear.
Oh thanks! I hope I didn't hurt your feelings! 😬
Far too much yapping of instructions. Just count the damn thing off, and let the music breathe and flow organically.
no this isn't a live performance you don't know enough about this session to make such a silly comment
@@FoolishFrankie Then you go ahead and do your thing.
💪💥🗯🔥💭❤💨🕊 stay foolish
thx...merci...graicias..Danke..
p.s.great how you handle all it and that you share your worldview with us.
I appreciate that!
