They seem to be of very high built quality comparing to some other artists signature models.. By the way i'm not a fan at all of Malmsteen's shredding , but i really like his strat .
I'm almost finished paying off my layaway Yngwie stratocaster. I found one at a pawn shop in mint condition. 50 bucks here 50 bucks there that's only way I can afford decent gear lol. layaway is a good thing sometimes.
Hello! Can I ask you something? I recently bought a Stratocaster Malmsteen and it is wonderful. The 2018 model. But I have a curiosity. To the tone for the bridge and central pick-up, mount the no load. Obviously it has a step when you enter a normal and no load tone, so far so normal. But my curiosity is: When you switch from no load to normal, it also makes a little noise that you hear coming out of the amp. And if you select the pick up on the neck and move the no load tone that has nothing to do with the tone of the pick up on the neck ... That “stick” feels even stronger, like the activation of a pedal true by pass. For me it is completely normal because an additional component enters the circuit. But I was asking you too, if he does it to you, always if you have the no load tone.
Got my eye on a used 2014 YJM but not sure??? I may go see him play in Memphis Oct. 21 at the New Daisy on Beale St. Do you think Yngwie will sign it for me if I bring it to the show? This one has the YJM on the middle of the Pickup.... not sure if Duncans or not?? Enjoy
Did you get the new Cream colored one or the more desirable Yellow or Antique White from Sweetwater? I may buy one before I see him Oct. 21 in Memphis... hoping he will sign the back of the peg head for me. I really want the old school Yellow one w/maple fretboard and Fury pickups..... the one he plays 99% of the time.... but that probably means USED.... coz all the 2017 ones at GC or MF are the UGLY Beige/Cream ones : . (

This guitar costs over £2000 pounds in the UK. It is over priced for an artist series guitar. A custom shop guitar would be a better investment.
Everything gin the UK is overpriced. You can get the Malmsteen here for $1500out the door. Totally great price for that guitar.
