My brothers and I were born into the teachings and brainwashing of Catholicism, Two of us left it's teachings but one brother passed away two years ago still believing in eternal hell fire and would not listen to the truth of the Bible. We were taught never to read our Bibles but to listen to the interpretations of the Bible from our priests and teachers, It is a 'hellish' religion to be born into and we are threatened with eternal hell fire if we leave. I pray that your speaking on these important Biblical truths reach many more who remain fearful of leaving this religion and it's teachings.

On the east side (which was the side of honor) were the tribes of Juda, Issachar, and Zebulun. So that really brings home that Jesus will come from the East.

In a way, the experience of the three young Hebrews that got thrown into the fire 🔥 (i.e. a hell crafted by this world "authorities" for those not bending onto them) show us a lot about the nature of becoming flammable or not flammable stuff. It doesn't make sense if you look closely at that doctrine. Revelation 16:21. "And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the Breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and 🔥 fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them." Revelation 20:7-9. "Blessed and Holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years." Jones, SDA pioneer & author, identifies who Gog, Magog is in "Great Nations of Today," page 89-93, and also who is Meshech, Tubal & other nations of Ezekiel 38, 39 in "Peoples of the Earth," both books in the website of EG White Writings. He was also the one who argued against the Sunday Law bill in 1889.
Overall a good presentation on the great controversy theme again. There are two things I'd like to point out that seem inconsistent: Eternal hell fire meaning and a brief comment near the very end, "The redemed will come down on him like a ton of bricks and sort his head out." Ok the first item: Eternal hell fire. You explain correctly this is not burning for ever but you say it means the results are eternal. If Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed with that kind of fire, they suffered a destruction that has eternal results. They wont be resurrected with the lost. They were permanately destroyed and Lot was their last witness as to why. The Second Item: The character of the redeemed will not come down on anyone like a ton of bricks and sort their head out. This character is more in line with that of the kingdom of this world to forcefully compel others to submit to their way of thinking. A lot of this going on today and most of us don't care for it. Love will reign supreme and we and the angels will testify how much Jesus sacrificed and we were so unworthy yet He did it! The evidence Jesus will wear for eternity and our devotion and love will be the testimony of the depth of God's love for even the worst creatures in His creation, sinners. Praise His Holy Name that He was willing to sacrifice so much for you and me!
I believe "The redeemed will come down on him like a ton of bricks and sort his head out." was very figuratively speaking. It has nothing to do with "forcing", but we sure will give them good and serious arguments against entertaining any thoughts of sin and rebellion.

The doctrine of purgatory is being adopted by most mainstream religions who believe that one will be punished for their sins but be able to repent and be admitted into heaven. This shows that the deity they serve is not Yahweh, but another.

35.10 most readers will have no idea about the kazem (sp?). I am 65 and never heard that before. I can see how there are so many different understandings in Revelation. It indeed does take educated men of God to help us learn things we don’t normally get. Revelation is NOT simple! The gift of prophecy is the only way to understand its complex writing. SDAs have this gift. I am so thankful.

The doctrine of purgatory is being adopted by most mainstream religions who believe that one will be punished for their sins but be able to repent and be admitted into heaven. This shows that the deity they serve is not Yahweh, but another.

35.10 most readers will have no idea about the kazem (sp?). I am 65 and never heard that before. I can see how there are so many different understandings in Revelation. It indeed does take educated men of God to help us learn things we don’t normally get. Revelation is NOT simple! The gift of prophecy is the only way to understand its complex writing. SDAs have this gift. I am so thankful.

Would you please tell me, will the saved who goes up to heaven stay in the New Jerusalem during the 1000 years, and will the New Jerusalem not come down to earth just after the resurrection of the unjust as the Bible teaches us that those who killed Jesus will see Him coming on the clouds?

Would like for you to do an updated version of Rekindling the Reformation & Total Onslaught to provide awareness for those that do not understand the gravity of the coming climax and do not understand that we are in the days of the culmination of the efforts of the counter-reformation. Including the revelation in Zechariah that foretells of a time when the majority of the people in the earth will be blinded to what the adversary is doing and through whom he is doing it.

Concerning "hell", Luke 16:19-31 about Lazarus and the rich man is a verse which is often used by people who claim that hell is eternal suffering.
Still wondering how this verse must be explained........?
It is a parable not a doctrine.
Maybe as an example against future Roman Catholic teaching of Purgatory. It is in the Bible and yet they teach a direct contradiction.
