Welcome to my Animal Crossing channel. Today we're breaking down my top 3 predictions for the recently announced Nintendo Direct. Although no specific details have been published, Nintendo have confirmed a Nintendo Direct will take place in June 2024.
With this in mind, I highlight my personal hopes and predictions for things I think have a good chance of being included.

@@Yusei255 Final Major Update was 2.0, doesn’t stop minor updates hence why we are now on 2.0.6 so we could definitely see a major update being 3.0 and then no more updates ever after that… Nintendo loves to surprise us fans

I played the originals and played them on Wii U so this isn’t high on my personal most wanted, but I really can’t believe we’re into year 8 of Switch and they still haven’t come over! Seems like it would be a no brainer money-printer for Nintendo. I still think they’re coming before Switch 2
I'd love a New Leaf port or remake. I also want them to put the Sonic Adventure games on the Switch so we can have a portable Chao garden but that's up to Sega rather than Nintendo.

Right. They're not updating NH. That's off the books. I doubt they will remake or port any older AC games either, they've never done it before. As cool as that would be. We'll probably have to wait for Switch 2 for any new AC content.
Nothings ever off the books with Nintendo. Plus they ported the N64 to Gamecube, and brought Wild World from DS to Wii-U. Not to mention updating New Leaf 5 years after launch.

So there's no chance at another update again.
I said another update would be unlikely, but let’s be honest we simply don’t know.. unless of course you work at Nintendo and are omitting details. The reality is that plans change all the time. Marketing strategies change. Board members demands change. Games turn around and sell 45million copies unexpectedly and change things. Nintendo change their minds all the time with releases. We simply have no idea if a new update could drop or not lol

Why would you have to? I'm genuinely confused. Is someone gonna take your Switch away when the Switch's successor come out?
I think that an update to acnh is fully possible. if the rumour is true, then things like a mic will be included in switch 2 and maybe nintendo will introduce some new mechanics to acnh for people that play on the switch 2 (if it is backwards compatible). also since splatoon 3 live service is ending edp5 (the division that makes the ac and splatoon games) are technically "free" to focus on ac again s hopefully while theyre working on the next game they can drop something for acnh as well.
Let's hope for an action-oriented platformer centered on Geno (from Mario RPG). He deserves the same treatment as Snufkin did.
My five most wanted remakes (even though it's possible that none of them will ever happen):
Animal Crossing City Folk with QoL changes (give us the choice to turn off animal tracks).
Kirby Squeak Squad with a Daroach story (or epilogue).
Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire (I know we already have the ORAS remake, but the ds/3ds are dead at this point).
Disgaea 2 (We have 1,4,5,6,and 7 on the Switch, so why not also port 2 to the switch or next console)?
Super Mario Land, but with Luigi instead of Mario (Super Luigi Land could work, since Daisy is the Princess in need of saving).
They should reveal a Mario Kart collection which features Double Dash, DS, Wii, and 7
I think it would be be great if Nintendo released animal crossing new leaf remake for the Nintendo switch sometime during this next June direct hopefully
I just really want animal crossing new leaf remake to come out sometime this summer or in June
I really want:
1. Tomodachi Life with new additions like they did with Miitopia and more.
2. More Animal Crossing New Horizons update or remaster old Animal Crossing games or a whole new one who knows.
3. The classic pokemon games on Gameboy.
4. Nintendo DS, Nintendo Gamecube, and Nintendo Wii as new additions to the switch.
2. ACNH had its final update in October 15, 2021 and it was even labelled as such.
So there's no chance of another Update.
The game is finished.
New leaf and new horizons and happy home should be fused together.

A remaster of either the original Animal Crossing or New Leaf would be INSANE. I'd have to apologize for the person I would become if they announced that. However, whenever I hear the phrase "This would be the logical step" and it's about Nintendo... yeah, they won't do that 🥲
Can't wait to see what's announced in the DIRECT! I am always hopeful for a remake/new entry in the Golden Sun franchise! And I'm always hopeful for a ACNH 3.0 update (I know it's not going to happen, but a girl can dream!) or ACPC content being added! Also will be interested to see if there's a new Pokemon remake announced (or addition to the NSO emulators). And I always keep an eye out for Story of Seasons and Harvest Moon announcements.

I would like to see a new animal crossing new leaf game remake come to Nintendo sometime this June in next Nintendo direct

I too have predictions it'll be port/remake season the remaining time of the Switch cuz even though a lot of time is still left for the Switch, when a new console launches, they usually take their time before opening the floodgates of popular series. They're not gonna announce a new Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Metroid and other 1st or 2nd party games all at once, it'll take awhile before we see a giant lineup on the Switch successor and seeing as how the Switch has just about a rep from most if not all current main Nintendo series except for like Star Fox which could get a Switch port from Wii U's Star Fox: Zero hopefully with the option to play without motion controls for example would be a fantastic idea and choice port in my opinion, but a New Leaf expansion port would be absolutely amazing in my opinion, and would LOVE to see that happen.
If New Leaf gets remade before the original or Wild World I will not be happy.
I would absolutely love a new kirby game
Perhaps some of the upcoming games that was announced in the previous years will have a release date shown in the June direct.

Rainbow Curse is a game I assumed would stay Wii U exclusive considering the controls… I suppose you could use the joy-con gyro aiming to draw on the TV but I think it would just be too clunky. I’d rather see Xenoblade X or the HD Zeldas
It would make sense if Nintendo released an animal crossing game this year because they haven’t gone more than four years before they released some sort of game

Were getting ports of Metroid Prime 2 and 3 with announcement in the June Direct. As well as a Splatoon 3 content extention

They have never done a remaster or ported a previous ac game to current console, we will never see new leaf on switch.
They ported AC from N64 to Gamecube and they brought Wild World to Wii-U lol
As much as I love New Leaf I can’t go back to placing designs all over the place so villagers houses spawn where I want them to. If they do a remake I need the customisation of NH.
