42 years after hearing this I still hum it while I'm working or driving, or just sitting around!

(best sound quality of all the available videos of this song on the entire internet btw. Kudos! Awesome job!)

That has got to be Jeff "Skunk" Baxter playing guitar. Jeff Baxter was in Steely Dan & The Doobie Brothers. Ray Parker is sitting down playing guitar.

Love the talk-box vocal. He picked this up from Jeff Beck,(it's inventor) who Stevie had been hanging around with and writing songs at that time.

With Sesame Street being on PBS and for real young kids I kind of forget how clever and cool the show is.

That's not his real voice! That's a strange-looking talk-box machine destroying his real human voice I cannot listen to. How on earth could he ever do that to his real human voice that God gave to you? I don't want to hear that talk-box machine music of Stevie. I want to hear the real Motown R&B music of Stevie Wonder especially on "Superstition" and "Signed, Sealed, Delivered".
