I think I have the record to this. It has some characters singing the same songs as they do here, but other times it has the songs sung by different characters, and songs that are not performed on this episode. Instead of singing at a party, the record features the characters singing on a bus driven by Ernie and Bert on the way to a picnic, and features more characters than what you see here.
The More We Get Together," before they all segue into a finale reprise of "Let's Sing a Song That Everybody Knows." Sesame Street had segue on tv they continued without interruption.
In the #1808 version: Olivia holds up the Sesame Street sign, while Susan holds up the CTW sign at the end. In the #1981 version: the Sesame Street and CTW logos appear over a still of Waiter Grover and Mr. Johnson holding a plate with a little hamburger.
Cast Alaina Reed as Olivia Bob McGrath as Bob Loretta Long as Susan Roscoe Orman as Gordon Sonia Manzano as Maria Northern Calloway as David Emilio Delgado as Luis Carroll Spinney as Big Bird and Oscar Special Guest James Taylor ("Up on the Roof") The Muppet Performers Jerry Nelson as Herry Richard Hunt as Forgetful Jones Brian Muehl as Telly Monster Martin P. Robinson as Buster the Horse Martin P. Robinson, Cheryl Blaylock, Ed Christie, and Bryant Young, I think did the Honkers Musicians: Dave Conner, Bob Cranshaw and Jim Mitchell Ernie and Bert couldn't make it to the party because Frank Oz and Jim Henson weren't available.
Gordon and Mr. Hooper, were not present during this episode, but they did sing on the record version. Bert and Ernie didn’t make an appearance here, but were also on record version. The same thing with the Count, Cookie Monster, and Grover. Luis and David also sang on the episode, as well as Olivia, but none of the three sang on the record version.
Great stuff! Beat me to it ;-) As for your other message, I honestly had no idea you had shared a better audio version of 725, that was new info to me. Just wanted you to know.
A few notes on the "I Got Me a Rooster" song. Jeff Moss apparently wrote it, but it's not entirely original. The tune and the second half of each verse is based on the children's classic tune "Had a Little Rooster", but in the first half, the lyrics almost copy those of "The Cat Goes Fiddle i Fee", another little animal ditty that's sometimes been sung in an operatic manner. Also, all that stuff Oscar says about giraffes making no sounds at all. Actually, that's not entirely true. Sure, the giraffe is silent for all practical purposes, but it will sometimes vocalize a little. Not a very strong sound. Sort of a low bleat or a high pitched grunt. I heard it on a computer game I once had. Wish I still had it so I could relisten, but it's from the pre-windows days.
Only Bert and Ernie wasn't part of this and neither was Grover nor the Count the former three because Frank Oz and Jim Henson weren't available to do this (and haven't for the past few seasons) and the latter because Jerry Nelson was doing Herry for the entire episode (who didn't appear in the original), besides Herry, several other participants weren't part of the original Susan, Luis, and Oscar and several more since they weren't introduced yet, Olivia (Season 8), Telly (Season 10), and Forgetful Jones (Season 12)

This isn't a fanmade remake.
My family and I did this Sing After Me together when watching Sesame Street a lot
I wonder how did the episode originally end without the credits?

Musicians: Dave Conner, Bob Cranshaw and Jim Mitchell
Ernie and Bert couldn't make it to the party because Frank Oz and Jim Henson weren't available.
Which also explains why Cookie Monster and Grover weren't present.
David Conner on Piano, Bob Crenshaw and Jim Mitchell on Guitars.
Jim Mitchell on Guitar, Bob Cranshaw on Bass. They were both part of the original Joe Raposo Sesame Street House Band.
Bert, Ernie, The Count, Cookie Monster and Grover should’ve appeared in the street scenes, so let’s imagine.
A special thanks to sesame street cast and more doing music tribute
All the songs are from the album Sesame Street Sing Along without the bus ride out to the farm.
Part 9:06, Big Bird asks about Mr. Snuffleupagus.

I never knew that such a simple song could be so sad!
