It's nintendo themed. This allows it to feature the Mario games without limiting it. Although the title is most likely to avoid legal issues, they can do a lot more and still have it fit the overall theme. This is simply one section.
If Disney actually made a whole star wars theme park and not that crappy land Galaxy edge.. I think it would've been a run for universals money in my opinion.. but nope Kathleen Kennedy had to ruin everything 🙄

What would be so cool for the expansion, the door could be themed to the golden temple and the door that remains locked in the game until you get the gems is the entry port, and whenever the ride opens the jewels like in the game fill the gaps and finally open the door

I was lucky enough to get on rise of the resistance twice, and it such an amazing experience! Nintendo Land looks very promising, and if the Mario kart ride is even half as good as rise of the resistance I’ll more then happy.
@LR Gaming they are adding Donkey Kong so i am thinking that they will expand every year or so with new themes like Zelda, Metroid, pokemon, Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion, FZero, Fire Emblem, star fox, Earthbound...
It would be cool to have a Mario kart roller coaster. Have it like a regular coaster, but later in the ride it splits into 8 different tracks, where each kart has its own track. 1 kart will have a loop, and another will have a drop, and near the end, they all line up again.
You know, I wish they did other sections of Super Nintendo World like The Legend Of Zelda, Animal Crossing or even Splatoon! Hopefully Universal will do future developments for Super Nintendo World
They need to add a Super Mario Galaxy ride as a dark roller coaster ride, dark water coaster ride, or just a regular dark ride and they need to add a Mario party ride as well.
This is making me even more excited for the new park in orlando. If they did this for only super Nintendo world, epic universe will be insanely immersive.
Looking at these basically finished photos of the land in Japan and the layout of the construction and space in Hollywood, I think there is plenty of space in Hollywood for the Mario Cart ride and the Yoshi ride
Ya know, at some point I really hope they make some call backs to older Mario games, such as the paper Mario Series, and the Mario and Luigi Series. As well as their more popular ones, like Mario Party, and Mario Tenis?? Maybe not that one.

Bowser's Castle is the biggest draw for me. THAT IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!!! I like the other elements and stuff from the games, but as a Bowser fan, this is the peak of my dreams!

I'm guessing it will probably open somewhere around August thru November, and we might visit there the next time we travel to Japan.
I wish Nintendo and Universal would decide to open the park and not open it alongside the start of Summer 2020 Olympics
so basically it won't be ready until winter...
They can't open it during the Coronavirus so maybe they are going to open it next year

No one knows for sure. Could’ve been as soon as next year, but now maybe 2022 or later seems more likely.
It just sucks that the park opens at 10am and closes early at 7pm. UGHH I could enjoy nighttime views if they extended it until 9 or 10pm
