This is easily the most exciting release of the year for me personally and i can't wait to start making some custom figs with these parts. I'm currently contemplating if i should turn the dragon born faction into a human one by swapping out the heads. September can't come quick enough lol
Literally Wow. I'm more into fantasy so I'm super excited for these individually and as army builders for different factions like dragonborn, eagles, mindflayers, etc haha. Thanks for the video, I don't really know about these releases otherwise 🤣
There is also Lady of Pain(middle one) know from Planescape, and Tasha(girl of left). Yellow skin "elf" is a Gith just like Lae'Zel from Baldur's Gate 3.
As a D&D player. It’s awesome to see so many amazing new pieces. As well as official Lego versions of huge lore characters like Tasha (the witch fig), The Lady of Pain (the spiky helmed fig), and Strahd von Zarovich (the purple cloaked fig)
@@Shoctr I was initially thinking the same thing. But the figure does look very similar to the generic Lich art from 5e. So I wasn’t 100% confident it was Szass Tam
The Necromancer is Szazz Tam, the oldest and most powerful of the Red Wizards of Thay from Forgotten Realms. And the witch is Tasha - I love that she's laughing, perhaps in a hideous way. The grey guy is Strahd von Zarovich, classic vampire and lynchpin of the Ravenloft setting. What a great bunch of characters!
A note for that Dragonborn Paladin: The emblem on the shield is that of Bahamut, the Draconic God of Justice (also the only Platinum Dragon in D&D lore). Honestly seems fitting, especially for a Gold Dragonborn, since metallic dragonborn tend to gravitate toward goodness and justice.
2:11 It's not an elf, it's probably a githyanki race 2:52 This character is Lady of Pain, the powerful and mysterious ruler of Sigil. She appeared in the game Planescape: Torment, for example
I appreciate the corrections. I'm not much of a d&d guy so this is cool to know that they actually took some real characters from the lore instead of just doing all randoms.
The witch is also the Witch Queen Tasha. If you look closer you will see she has the rune mark on her cheek and her book has the same arcane sigils as the chalk board seen in her study. Edit: fix autocorrect
@@Goldfyrealso, the symbol on the dragonborn is that of the good dragon god of justice, Bahamut. A similar dragonborn has a piece of art in the book Fizban's Treasury of Dragons (Fizban being an allias of Bahamut while disguised as a rather eccentric wizard) labelling him as a Dragonborn Champion of Bahamut. The original art has the Dragonborn with a sword rather than a mace, and without shoes (as they are digitigrade). I'm glad they changed it as we already have loads of swords, and had they not given them shoes we wouldn't have been able to use the armour for any other figure.

Wild that you’re not a DnD guy, you should really get into it! A lot of these figures will be so much more impressive when you know the lore and context
I would love if the characters came with stat sheets that you could use with the Lego set if you wanted to make your own story or have new player pre made characters
That would be awesome! or even if it came with a promo code that let you download a mini adventure like they did in the DnD X Nerds (the candy type) promo
the dragonborn shield will be turned into a faction for sure, already got a few Castle 2013 blue lion torsos on hand to use with them and i hope for a great print under that armor as well
The figure with the rat and the king-esque torso/legs is strahd von zarovich king of barovia. The yellow elf is a gith- I'm not sure if they're githyankie or githzerai. I believe the witch is meant to be tasha- an evil sorceress. And the red wizard is well, a red wizard from the official dnd location faerun.
These all look so good! I hope they make more sets in future Sidenote, could that dragon Sheild on the paladin be a possible new faction? I don’t know much about Lego castle so if so,embody could clear this up that would be great
@@MiniMIniMorkGaming Yeah, but Dragonborn are not from Toril originally and do not actually have the historic ties to Tiamat or Bahamut that the native Toril dragons do in terms of colour, so they (in lore) just go for whichever fits them personally. In fact, canonically, most Dragonborn are fervent atheists who do not trust the will of Gods, dragonborn paladins are common adventurers specifically because they are outcasts from their normal society.
for a while now I've been looking for the right torso and legs to make this evil spirit character with a jack o' lantern for a head. I think the torso from the bird character and the legs from the bard would be perfect
This is a very sweet looking CMF, with barely any duds and a lot of winners. This is the first CMF where I would confidently buy any package blind and always be happy with the result. I don't even like Dungeons and Dragons as much for Lego, but they are all really fun.
OMG the eagle man (one you didn’t mention) is perfect for me. As someone who has been… shall we say repurposing some of my old childhood Lego to create my castle layout as a adult, I’ve been using a lot of Chima, to the point where I want to turn the Chima eagles, the faction that I have the most of into a fantasy race in my world. This eagle figure is an instant bulk buy for me. I will be treating it like certain people were treating the vampire knight. Also the mindflayer looks cool… but as someone with 0 D&D knowledge it does look out of place compared to the other figures when I’m looking at them purely as a “Fantasy CMF pack”. However it would make a killer figure in a Lego space lineup, and if Lego made another Doctor who set that head recoloured would make a scarily perfect Ood (I wish Lego did more with IPs that it still has but never uses like Doctor who and Voltron, but I digress)
Unfortunately the 'yellow elf' probably isn't traditional lego yellow, it's probably more of a mustard-y color, since they're a Githzarai/Githyanki, basically psychic elves that got stuck in the spirit world for thousands of years. They've got varying shades of green skin and no noses, as well as those iconic marks beneath their eyes. (If you've seen anything for Baldur's Gate 3 on your feed, Lae'zel is a Gith)
also the only problem with getting hearted i was playing fallout 3 and the notification stayed there for 40 mins so it was hard to play but anyways have a good day who ever you are and stay kind
I also really like that some of these figs are actual D&D characters from books and stuff! so the guy at 1:10 is a vampire lord named Count Strahd von Zarovich. He's pretty much Dracula
These CMF's are amazing! I will be getting many of these. Hopefully Lego does another run of D&D cmf's and sets in the future. Anything castle/medieval is my thing.
New shield prints are always welcome, and the new armor piece for the paladin looks super promising. The third character looks like Strahd von Zarovich (the vampire antagonist of Curse of Strahd). The witch might be Tasha/Iggwilv (of Cauldron of Everything and Demonomicon fame). The lich is probably Szass Tam of the Red Wizards of Thay.
I've been a D&D guy since 1979 (yeah, I'm THAT old!) and while I'm not happy with the direction that the game is going in, I'll happily admit that these figures are pretty darn amazing!
I think an updated Baulders gate build with some of these pieces would be a cool video The bard already looks like Astarion just change torsos/legs And I could see you using the hair piece and tail for your Karlach And now we have a Mindflayer
As a fantasy nut, the Aarakocra, the Tiefling, the DRAGONBORN, and YELLOW ELF ears have me so excited! And I def just want at least one of each for the new prints and accessories
Love them! ❤ Surprised there is not a single archer character.. I can only imagine and hope there will be more of these series released with more characters 🤯 *just spotted the bow on the bird dude 😎
1:20 That’s a vampire named Strahd. He’s a popular D&D bad guy. I think you could definitely use him as a Fright Knight leader or something. Idk man, go nuts.
2:10 not a elf thats actual a githyanki, basically psychic zenophobic space pirates/raiders. How you can tell is the facial marks 2:48 thats actually the lady of pain the one below them is the druid with the flower staff 4:12 that necromancer is the infamous szass tam, leader of the red wizards of thay and consider a powerful lich, liches are necromancer who put their souls in a Phylactery think whay voldemort was doing
Thanks for the last one! I just thought it might be a standard Red Wizard, rather than Szass Tam. I'd definitely love to get multiple of him in that case so I can make him his army of Red Wizards
In almost every cmf ever there’s also a few characters you get that you are upset to get but here I wouldn’t be mad to get any of these they all look awesome
I love the dragonborn paladin. Especially since hes a paladin of bahamut the platinum dragon god. and every time i made a paladin i have them devoted to bahamut.
The witch with the cauldron is probably Tasha. She's often depicted with a caldron and ahe has a spell named after her called Tasha's hideous laughter, which could explain why she looks like she is laughing.
Yep! Also, if you look closely she has the rune on her cheek, and her spellbook has the same design as seen on the chalk board in her study (seen in art in Tasha's Caldron of Everything). Plus, she is also the creator of the spells Tasha's caustic brew and a new spell from the 2024 rulebook, Tasha's bubbling caldron. Her mother is also Baba Yaga, so Tasha has quite the connection to caldrons in general.
I am so excited to get the new dragon cmf and I’m probably going to be army building as well and I can’t wait to use some of the new pieces to create some custom figures. I can’t wait for this to come out!
Grey skin guy is probably Count Strahd, a vampire villain from a very popular dnd adventure. The little brain dude with the mind flayer is known as an intelect devourer. The character with the crazy spikey head piece is known as the LADY OF PAIN. She is from Planescape: Torment, a dnd videogame. The "Necromancer" is Vecna, basically the end boss of all dnd. the bird man you missed is known as an Aarakocra, a playable bird race. I am a HUGE D&D fan and havent got any lego anything since I was like 10 years old so I am def gonna grab these.
I'm already rebuilding my norse mythology stuff into DnD for a few months now, and I'm super hyped about this CMF set. Been a huge DnD fan since I was kid, having played all both the oldschool pc games and tabletop as well. Always dreamt that one day I could build Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter and Icewind Dale from lego. Well, now I started the process with converting my Fenrir MOC into an epic leveled beastmaster's mount and also started working on an airship :)
I will also be going for a whole box! (preferably more than one) You might like to know that all the characters (minus the named ones and the ones with special heads, so the lich Szass Tam, the witch Tasha, the Vampire Strahd, the Lady of Pain with the spiky headress, the Dragonborn and the Aarakocra (eagle person)) have alternate gender-swapped heads!
@@dragonmaster501 Oh wow, i looked up the references for the figures. I think lego did a good job capturing the characters as a lego figure. I love the Lady of Pain and the Mind flayer .... well creatures? :D
@JorioDotti They really are! Mindflayers are actually cool and creepy aliens that eat the brains of intelligent creatures. They are ultra-intelligent, gaining all memories from the brains they consume. They also have a kind of hive mind controlled by a giant brain called an elder brain. As such, their individual doctorate level intellects join forces. They reproduce by implanting a tadpole in your head, where it eats your brain and then becomes your brain, transforming you into one of them.
The dragonborn's shield is actually the symbol of Bahamut from back in 4e. I know it's not everyone's favorite but I'm always happy to see it getting a shout-out.
I think the grey, vampire-looking guy is Strahd von Zarovich, one of the OG villains of DND. And the druid is actually the Lady of Pain, an enigmatic character from the Planescape setting. And I think the witch is Tasha, another legacy character who even has a few spells named after her. Looking forward to grabbing some of these lovelies.
Good stuff! Just a couple of notes. The witch is actually Tasha, who IS a witch. But she’s not just a random one. The necromancer is Vecna, who is essentially a god necromancer.
Alright, for anyone who wants to know what exactly all of these are within the world(s) of D&D: 1: dragonborn paladin/cleric (the shield has the platinum dragon bahamut) 2: tiefling warlock (with eldritch blast spell and pseudodragon familiar) 3: Strahd von Zarovich (vampire dark lord of Barovia) 4: Dwarf barbarian/fighter 5: Mind Flayer (with Intellect Devourer) 6: Sun Elf Rogue (not sure what the staff is) 7: wood elf or half elf bard 8: Lady of Pain (the ruler of Sigil, the City of Doors) 9: Halfling Druid 10: Tasha (an Oerthian witch who is basically a demigod or low tier god, who also has her infamous cauldron and demonomicon) 11: Szass Tam (Necromancer, Red Wizard, and ruler of Thay) 12: Aarakocra Beastmaster Ranger Yes, I am losing my mind over this. Yes, I will catch them all. Yes, I have too much free time. Why do you ask?
Man these minifigure will be great for DnD session! That being said, if the players gonna have one, they may want to get extra parts or custom paint/ mold to try to make it accurate to their characters as close as possible!

YOOOO LETS GOOOOO I NEED ALL OF THESE, probably closets we'll ever get to a castle cmf
Gonna have to make that rat into a plague horde. I have a bunch of the tan one, but black with red eyes is too perfect!
Someone got the figure in person….it was just plain yellow!😄
The bird looking minifigure looks straight out of Chima and i can see people using that crazy spiky helmet mold for bionicle/hero factory mocs
U forgot to mention the bird guy who I like the most
you forgot to talk about the falcon/archer guy
also the only problem with getting hearted i was playing fallout 3 and the notification stayed there for 40 mins so it was hard to play but anyways have a good day who ever you are and stay kind
that's an Aaracokra ranger
I don’t need it
I don’t need it
……
I NEEEEEEEED IIIIIIT!!!
LETS GO new parts for castle
I also really like that some of these figs are actual D&D characters from books and stuff! so the guy at 1:10 is a vampire lord named Count Strahd von Zarovich. He's pretty much Dracula
I saw a few others mention that and yeah it's really cool that they included a couple of actual characters from the lore
These CMF's are amazing! I will be getting many of these. Hopefully Lego does another run of D&D cmf's and sets in the future. Anything castle/medieval is my thing.
That guy will octopus head is a mind flayer
I LOVE DA BIRB
Definitely turning that into a Chima custom
New shield prints are always welcome, and the new armor piece for the paladin looks super promising. The third character looks like Strahd von Zarovich (the vampire antagonist of Curse of Strahd). The witch might be Tasha/Iggwilv (of Cauldron of Everything and Demonomicon fame). The lich is probably Szass Tam of the Red Wizards of Thay.
The forest men potential from the antler hood is getting me so excited 🎉🎉
I've been a D&D guy since 1979 (yeah, I'm THAT old!) and while I'm not happy with the direction that the game is going in, I'll happily admit that these figures are pretty darn amazing!
I love it! It's one of the rare series where i like most of the figures.
I think an updated Baulders gate build with some of these pieces would be a cool video
The bard already looks like Astarion just change torsos/legs
And I could see you using the hair piece and tail for your Karlach
And now we have a Mindflayer
I really want to get back into the game as i never finished it so i might go for it after replaying some.
The Red wizard looks great and i would love to get him
All the new figures will work amazingly as minis for actual D&D, and i'm excited to use them
I have waited so long for that exact new armor piece
I am a great fan of DnD and this is absolutely mind blowing
Such a cool line I hope we get more like this in the future maybe more fantasy castle sets would be incredible
Nothing like getting home from school to go to Instagram and seeing this photo and then one of my favorite lego youtubers talking about it
Ayyy i hope you enjoyed the video :)
So many custom mini figures I can make the possibilities are endless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
COMPLETIONIST WAVE.
EVERY ONE IS A BANGER.
Couldn't agree more
i love the new cmf that is coming they look amazing and goldfyre thanks for the video becuase now i know its real
Mindflair and necromancer look great
FINALLY these all look fantastic
Now we know why lego has become so expensive, because of these beautiful minifigures
Probably the best we could get for castle fig mocs! Can't wait for the HD pics to come and will definitely be grabbing multiples of each!
That little red dragon might be the coolest piece ever
I actually really like the Red Wizard and Vampire would be great additions to a Fright Nights Army or Skeleton Army
Yeah! It also looks like the Red Wizard might be Szass Tam himself!
Can’t wait to see what NEW factions you’ll build with these, but I’m sure they will be INCREDIBLE 🥳🥳🥳 love the channel
Thanks :) i'm really jazzed to make a custom dragon faction with that dragonborn fig
The possibilities for army building are endless😲
YES!!! It does 🥳🥳🥳 they all look so flippin “INCREDIBLE” hope they continue adding to this series 🙏🙏 GoldFyre UR Awesome
Well
That exceeds all of my expectations, and they were already high.
I think I desperately need all of these. They're beautiful
As a fantasy nut, the Aarakocra, the Tiefling, the DRAGONBORN, and YELLOW ELF ears have me so excited! And I def just want at least one of each for the new prints and accessories
The yellow elf looks like a githyanki to me. The dots underneath the eyes are pretty distinct.
Love them! ❤ Surprised there is not a single archer character.. I can only imagine and hope there will be more of these series released with more characters 🤯
*just spotted the bow on the bird dude 😎
0:57 That baby dragon in grey would be awesome for building decorations in a medieval or neo-gothic build
How you can tell is the facial marks
2:48 thats actually the lady of pain the one below them is the druid with the flower staff
4:12 that necromancer is the infamous szass tam, leader of the red wizards of thay and consider a powerful lich, liches are necromancer who put their souls in a Phylactery think whay voldemort was doing
Thanks for the last one! I just thought it might be a standard Red Wizard, rather than Szass Tam. I'd definitely love to get multiple of him in that case so I can make him his army of Red Wizards
@@dragonmaster501 no it’s a normal Lich
The last one looks like a Lich
@@alastairolson3226 No, it is definitely Szass Tam. He was named in the leak.
In almost every cmf ever there’s also a few characters you get that you are upset to get but here I wouldn’t be mad to get any of these they all look awesome
I am SO excited for that green druid guy. His parts will look great amongst my custom bear knight faction!
I litterally started building a medieval village to fill it with this cmfs. Can't wait !
I love the dragonborn paladin. Especially since hes a paladin of bahamut the platinum dragon god. and every time i made a paladin i have them devoted to bahamut.
They look great I'm definitely picking up a few
Some of these would look great as an elder scrolls (skyrim) moc.
Where do you think Elder Scrolls got their inspiration from DnD of course.
I’m soooooo happy to get the red Dragon hatchling/baby piece
Nah bro the fact that my character is a Dragonborn paladin makes me so excited for this
I am so excited to get the new dragon cmf and I’m probably going to be army building as well and I can’t wait to use some of the new pieces to create some custom figures. I can’t wait for this to come out!
The character that you were confused about is a vampire.
ahh that makes sense i wasn't sure because there's so many dnd races i always get lost lol
Specifically, it's Strahd
I thought so
Omg I see so much pirate moc potentional in this entire set 😮 I cant eait to get mysels these cmfs!!
First persin you call a druid is the lady of pain ruler of the city of plainscape
You are right. A whole box it is. I dont know anything about the lore but i could use every piece.
0:26 Those body, leg and armour pieces would fit perfectly for a House of the Dragon Sir Cristan Cole or Kings Guard minifigure.
I'm very excited about these as well! I didn't care to spend $360 for the large D&D set, but will for sure pick these up!
100% agree. i would love to buy the dragon from that set used tho. Really great build imo
Now we have 4 dragon heads😀
Good stuff! Just a couple of notes.
The witch is actually Tasha, who IS a witch. But she’s not just a random one.
The necromancer is Vecna, who is essentially a god necromancer.
Alright, for anyone who wants to know what exactly all of these are within the world(s) of D&D:
1: dragonborn paladin/cleric (the shield has the platinum dragon bahamut)
2: tiefling warlock (with eldritch blast spell and pseudodragon familiar)
3: Strahd von Zarovich (vampire dark lord of Barovia)
4: Dwarf barbarian/fighter
5: Mind Flayer (with Intellect Devourer)
6: Sun Elf Rogue (not sure what the staff is)
7: wood elf or half elf bard
8: Lady of Pain (the ruler of Sigil, the City of Doors)
9: Halfling Druid
10: Tasha (an Oerthian witch who is basically a demigod or low tier god, who also has her infamous cauldron and demonomicon)
11: Szass Tam (Necromancer, Red Wizard, and ruler of Thay)
12: Aarakocra Beastmaster Ranger
Yes, I am losing my mind over this. Yes, I will catch them all. Yes, I have too much free time. Why do you ask?
Man these minifigure will be great for DnD session! That being said, if the players gonna have one, they may want to get extra parts or custom paint/ mold to try to make it accurate to their characters as close as possible!
I’m straight up buying a case
Awesome!! Wanna get these whenever they come out
