    Oh boy. This brings back memories . I remember a frustrated, possibly annoyed Taylor, trying to explain this to trolls.
    I've met Taylor and he was just as pleasant as he was handsome lol. Pretty genuine guy as well.

    The way i remember it is if the system starts @ the anchor ⚓️ which yours does and your last leg is pulling on the anchor you'll have an even # which equals the # of pulleys in the system & if it starts @ the load like in a rescue scenario over the edge where the last leg your pulling on the load you'll have an odd # which equals the # of pulleys + 1.
