Man, I got to do an 18 year review on my 04’ Jeep Wrangler X. I got it when I was in the military and has been all over the US, numerous beaches and some parts of Mexico. I’m blessed to say it’s been just regular maintenance I’ve had to deal with but it’s so easy to work on and parts are cheap. It still is in almost new condition since I pamper it. It’ll probably outlive me.
I’m driving a 2002 TJ in Baja Sur Mexico, and it’s a blast to go anywhere in. My other car is a Volvo S60 back in Florida. It’s twice as fast and burns half the gas but I really love the Jeep.
My '05 is getting a new tub and fenders ATM. But the frame and mechanicals are great. It's a blast to drive daily. Got it 2 years ago supposedly only for snow storms. But ever since the first time I drove it (even before the basic repairs it needed) I fell in love with it. Had never driven one before. Fixed what was wrong and has been a daily driver ever since. Hated seeing the body rot around a solid base, so now I'm fixing that too, lol. I'm 61 now, should last me my expected driving lifetime.
I just bought a 2003 TJ with 76000 miles and super clean. I have a 2020 GMC 2500 AT4 which is like you said kind of a pain in parking lots down here in SWFL so I got the Jeep to run around with while I'm down here p[us I've always wanted a Jeep.
Well I had it parked at my house during Hurricane Ian and it sat in 4 ft. of flood waters so the fluids have been changed a couple times, had to replace the shift cable and am currently replacing the brake booster but it still runs and drives.@@ramiroramirez23
I need to get a new car thats kind of in between before I can save up to get a super up one. it's about 95,000 miles on it and it's a 2003 jeep sport. How long do you think the car will last me? No accident on Carfax and it's been serviced regularly. i
hope it has AC Noah...i hear it Get Humid down in florida!! Enjoy Sir!..i'm currently 'eyeing'. to buy....a 2003 TJ Rubicon ( has the Same metallic Gold paint job like yours!! ). Cheers!
Hey Noah! I know you don’t own the jeep anymore but any chance you remember what the name of the tires you had on this thing were? I love the look and am hoping to get a tj of my own soon. Might use your setup with the mammoths and said tires!
I’ve got a video on that but maybe I could make one more in depth! Don’t go alone and bring towrope! I got stuck on a nature trail let alone the mud runners
Modding any vehicle causes it to lose value. I have a 2002 yellow x with full doors and hard top gonna buy a soft top soon. It's all stock only thing I'm gonna do is change the exhaust for something loud
I have an '05 TJ Rocky Mtn 4.0 w/ a modest 2" lift on 32" ko2's, Fox 2.0 Shox and old man emu coils and the ride quality is about as good as you can get from a short wheel base TJ. Honestly, I couldn't imagine driving anything else. Nice and high up, the doors off, top down with just a spider web shade on from late April to mid Oct. My wife has a 2 dr Challenger and I like the sport mode a lot, but it's uncomfortable, sits too low and tough to get in and out of and I'm only 6'1". I miss her Chevy Traverse with 3 rows of seats for those long out of state trips. But our kids like their parents vehicles, sort of the best of most worlds. Anyway cool video and even cooler TJ. 😎🏖🤙
Had a 97 tj. First year of the tj. It spent over 100 days in two dealership for warranty issues the first year i owned it. The next 18 months it sat in my driveway while i fought to give it back. Owned many jeeps in my day but the TJ is absolutely garbage in my book. Still have a 96 Cherokee and hope to be ha Barried in it.
Even the most reliable cars have occasional lemons. But yeah I would definitely choose an old Cherokee over the new ones with all the transmission issues.
The bumpiness and the loud noise is why I love my ‘99!
It’s a Jeep!!!
You’re supposed to be outside and dirty!

The TJ the last of the real Jeeps I got a JK but I didn't know anything about Jeeps when I bought it I wish I would have got a TJ
They definitely hold their value! Bumpy and noisy and I love it ! 😂❤
I hated my JKU. Underpowered and it just sucked overall in quality and comfort. I went back to a TJ.
You got a real gem of a TJ, enjoy!
Thank you sir! She’s a fun ride
There are some products to revive the plastic trim to come back to look new again since the jeep body look really good!
Thats a very clean TJ. Thanks for the review sir.
Been daily driving my '06 Wrangler X for 11 years and will not be giving it up anytime soon!
I am about 2 months into a 2001 Sahara. I like it. Did have to rebuild the tranny. It has 153 thousand miles on it.
Classic engine!
If you ever think of selling, please let me know. I’ve been looking for this color for years

Nice!! That’s young mileage for a TJ
How's the TJ now? I heard it sucks on the highway. What're your thoughts?

You're gonna loose some power with the bigger tires unless you change the gears . Sweet lookin jeep. I own a '04 wrangler x
I go too fast as it is 🤣
I have a 2006 LJ … 35” tires and 5.38 gears!!!
i love my 2003 bought with 45 000 this month
@Noah. How about a 2+ year review!?
I lost her in the hurricane 🌀
@@MCGaar Noooooo! I'm sorry to hear that
@MCGaar that is so sad!

That particular engine will easily last over another 100,000 miles. Go for it.
@@MCGaar wow thank you !
It can forever I’ve owned two TJ’s
You ever want to feel like you're really going fast? Top folded all the way back, doors off, highway driving!
60 feels like 100!! 😂❤

33 by 12.5 pro comp mud terrain tires
I just got my first one! Would you be able to make a video on how to go missing or on trails with 4 by 4?
I’ve got a video on that but maybe I could make one more in depth! Don’t go alone and bring towrope! I got stuck on a nature trail let alone the mud runners
What is your average mpg
I thinking about buying it but worried a out about a burn crazy amount of gas like 10 mpg .......a
About 14 mpg. I’d get it! Bulletproof reliability and smooth ride even on 33s
Let's have the 2.5 year review.
None up here in NY that are not rusted out, frames were very bad.
I just lost this in hurricane Ian! Sad but glad I have insurance
Try CT. I got mine in great condition

Do these rollover easily?
Nope!
lmao great video i drive one of these too i woulda started the video immediately bitching about how much gas it uses
Yeah, I got like 13 or 14 miles per gallon but I knew that going in. It was definitely my most fun vehicle.
