This is my favorite part. I like to imagine everyone is facepalming at themselves for impulsively spamming f1 as soon as the prompt appears like actual bots.
I love tf2's logic, when people tried to kick fatmagic it was a 4 to 3 and he got kicked, but when you try to votekick an actual cheater a 9 to 2 isnt enough
I don't know If it's a bug or something, but starting a vote in pregame always fails, I generally wait a bit, normally when pre game ends and setup is at 30 seconds and it should work.
Also I think there are some cheats that stop vote kicks from working
@@apyr1439 The ones that piss me off the most are when they give you a 2 minute timer and it’s NEVER 2 minutes it’s like 5 minutes. It’ll tell you like 3 to 4 times you have like 5-31 seconds left like it’s actually stalling you.

Cheaters can avoid being kicked. Their cheating software can fuck with the voting system.
Don't set a reason. Votes with reasons get blocked by cheats commonly.

I really don't get how people miss two important concepts: if they were actually hacking you'd be dead 7 seconds ago, and spy actually stops being invisible for a moment when shot or bumped into

If you've played casual for more than like 5 matches it becomes pretty quickly apparent the standard is nowhere near that high

I’m pretty sure he was trying to go invis and catch fatmagic shooting him while invis but I guess he didn’t think that doing it right in front of a sniper is gonna be an accidental hit not a cheating hit.

Truly, I wish TF2 had killcams. People don't realize how predictably they're moving a lot of the time, or how as you reach the apex of a jump whether it's regular or rocket there's a moment where your head is real easy to click on.
it will also help finding the "snap" before you're getting killed if it was a cheater

I used to watch videos of Fatmagic being kicked regularly, but they're starting to be too stressful for me to watch. These trigger-happy hackusations really piss me off, but I'm less upset at the accusers, and more upset at Valve for making this culture of paranoia happen by leaving bots and cheaters running around. Are they fixed?

I really love the spy who stands right in your sight lines twice and then accuses you for cheating
I played a series of games a while back. As medic for a good portion of them but as soon as I change to sniper to provide my team a better foothold, I get called out and torn apart by the same people I tried to help. It's like they're all in on a community wide troll.
I recently came back to TF2 and started seeing bots. But sometimes, I'd see what I thought was a bot, and someone would say otherwise. Finally, I started asking more often: "how can you tell?"
It wasn't until I had asked that four times that two people would give me the same answer, but every single one of them replied with a variant of "it's obvious."

Sniper mains can consistantly suck the dopamine out of any server they join, get kicked so often they speedrun it, and then turn around and say that sniper is a perfectly balanced class.
It doesnt matter if he isnt overpowered. If sniper is this unfun to fight, he needs a nerf.

when this first happened to me I was extatic and took a lot of pride for getting kicked. I was so good people thought I was cheating. Then it started happening more and more. Now its just straight up annoying. When im having even a decent game i get called a hacker and people try to kick me. So now i have a whole ass game plan to NOT get kicked, i start making fun of people that call me a hacker, because if i don't, my team just kicks me. Also I try to make friends in my team just in case if people wanna kick me i have people backing me up. I wish i was making this shit up but it happens way more often than you would think. Esp when you're against a sore loser sniper in the enemy team. Fatmagic just laughs it off but if that was me i'd lose my shit if it happened as often as it happens to him.

The real problem is that sniper requires so much mechanical skill, that if someone masters the class, there is barely any difference between aimbot and a good reaction time, and most of the time it won’t matter cause they’ll kick you just so they can have fun.
Pretty much. If someone is so good that they delete the entire enemy team in the span of 10 seconds then practically speaking it's no different from a bot. You still aren't allowed to have any fun with someone that good on the enemy team.
@@matthewgagnon9426 at this point, there’s such a skill gap in tf2 that it kind of NEEDS skill based matchmaking, but at the same time, skill based matchmaking can ruin how the game is played because tf2 is just *not* designed for that in mind. It’s almost paradoxical!

to be fair there really is a huge hacking problem in tf2 and you are significantly more skilled than most everyone else on that server, so I feel like a certain amount of paranoia is understandable on their part. Granted they're pretty overzealous about it and are definitely also using it to sooth their ego from being dominated, but you can't say their paranoia is completely unfounded. There have been times where i've tried to play and it's all but unplayable on a lot of servers.
Seen a lot of fresh account made in the last few months and most its were just cheaters , snipers mostly. Everysingle fking time a new made account with sniper was seen it was a fking hacker .

A few days ago I killed a kunaiweab spy and he switched to sniper, toggled cheats and started ordering my team to kick me. The absolute state of Tf2.
I don't understand why right after the vote starts, there is already like 4 votes against you, do people have the F1 key binded to wasd keys too? Or does it take some seconds until the vote shows up in the hud of the player getting kicked?

Alright lads gather ‘round it’s time to teach the basics of Cloak and Dagger testing someone. Now first, you’re going to want to NOT stand directly in their way, in fact don’t stand near them at all. The best way to give someone the ol’ CnD is to stand somewhere real fuckin’ weird because actual cheaters can’t help but look for a reason to pretend they know you are there. For example, you can stand on the sides of the 2fort bridge. No one in their minds would think to check the sides as they pass by, but a cheater will gravitate toward you and “accidentally bump you” or “randomly spy check” the exact spot you’re in.

people really need to stop mindlessly pressing f1, you can straight up get anyone kicked by just calling a vote and saying "f1 bot" or even saying nothing
I remember I was on a server were everybody pressed f1 when a vote was called. It ended with 1 single bot causing the server to become a bot wasteland after the bot kept calling votes on legits
Because playing against someone who's so good, that they are indecipherable from a cheater is still not fun regardless of winning or losing. You win and have someone take the kills and do the objective while you wait for the match to end, or you're on the losing side and you die over and over again until the match ends. It takes what challenge and fun that's in the game and ruins it because there's that one overly cocky, super good player, who says "I'm just playing the game." like nobody else is trying to do the same. Believe it or not, being good at the game doesn't make you exempt from what other people feel about you. If they think you're unfair, then BOOM, you're unfair. Plain and simple. If someone finds it really hard to fight against you because they keep dying over and over again, then expect to be called a cheater, especially with those names. I know the title of the video is rhetorical and that you're purposely trying to get reactions for the sake of content but there's the answer.

I can't explain how many revisions and rewrites this comment went through and the amount of times I just figured "I should delete it and stay silent" I decided to comment just because I know that there are people who just find people like Fat Magic incredibly annoying. This isn't just like a TF2 thing either, like anyone can play any game and be super good to the point where it's not fun for anybody else in the server.

A few ways to play Sniper in TF2 without been kicked
-use the Sydney sleeper
-go for bodyshoots bettwen headshots kills so the killfeed isent loaded with x Sniper headshot 4 people in a row
-talk back when they acusse you and change class
- use the lucksman
-avoid using the Sniper class
this is why i hate the sniper class. if there is a good sniper he single handedly ruins games like harverst. all kicks were justified. sorry but even if there wasnt aimbot id still vote yes on vote kick. average snipers are great as they are still annoying but it isnt so instant it feels dumb. this is why its unfair. all you need is practice to ruin everyone time. and yes there are ways to handle sniper but all this does it hurt new player experice as even when i first started playing all it took was 1 good sniper and bam im gonna go to a different server where i can have fun. id much rather a cheater than a good sniper because atleast the whole server leaves to find something better. I mean there was one point where i dominated the server but the only 3 times i died was because of the sniper. sorry but its very fair to say the sniper is a cheat class unlike clock and dagger spy given enough practice. to skilled players its not hard to work around but still it does nothing but hurt new players as they cant defend or know sightlines so im more than happy to agree to a kick over a sniper thats causing the other team to disconnect. even to expercied players the sniper can just be faster and bam they win so how is there any argumment on why the sniper should still headshot. with the spy it feels deserved but with the sniper is more infuriating having to suddenly mange where you go since theres a good sniper thats wants half the map shutdown. im to used to dieing to sniper that i forget how stupid the sniper class is in overall balance in casual with meh team memebers. why must i be the one to switch classes and handle them when someone is gonna just kick them and we can go back to haveing fun.
If you don't like sniper so much play a different game. People shouldn't be kicked simply cause they are better than you.
I have literally worked with baby chickens, and they will occasionally trample each other to death within the first week of their lives for no good reason. And with that in mind, TF2 Casual players may possibly be... some of the dumbest, most unfriendly, and most juvenile creatures on this Earth.
