I used to like to follow taunting Snipers around invisible and backstab them when they'd taunt. Once they got wise, wait for them to do it a couple of times and not attack, then come at them again. Really gets under their skin. Bastard Spy is best Spy.

this is the first time ive seen someone be salty AS sniper. i thought it was "be salty because YOU'RE sniper." i guess sniper has that magic ability to make anyone angry regardless
As a sniper player who has angered dozens of heavies I agree 👍
i mean, a long range one shot which can't be really countered except by itself isn't that magic
My personal theory why people are more angry is because snipers skill cannot be appreciated like the skill of other classes. You're not as upset when you die to a trickstab, reflect, airshot or combo, most people are probably impressed. But because Snipers gameplay is usually the same task, without much flashiness and you probably won't see the sniper before you get headshot. The Snipers skill is only really able to be appreciated by the sniper themselves since they're the only ones seeing their aim.
Without being able to acknowledge a snipers skill you're just left with anger.
Anytime I see someone like this I have the same reaction: Who hurt you?
You trash talk when people miss you, you complain when people hit you, it’s never your own fault, the games are always so easy except when you lose, then it was luck that we rolled your team because you couldn’t possibly make any mistakes. Yes our sniper must be cheating and our demo is definitely crit hacking, and oh my 158 points don’t count because I was just leaning on my team. Like damn I’m not always that good at the game, in fact sometimes I’m absolutely shit, but why even play if you can’t have any real fun? If you don’t want to be opposed why even play a multiplayer game? Some part of me just feels bad for them if they’re like this everywhere but another part of me finds it absolutely hilarious.

Great video, it's always fun to play against good snipers in an SVS. It's comical how salty some people can get in this game at times. This must have been a while ago as I was still running Bedouin Bandana on every class.

Saltiness is an incredible thing when directed accordingly, and a dangerous hazard when directed poorly, saltiness can best be described as an energy which builds up as you fail at a game.
This energy swirls within your body, and builds up into a great mass of which can drve you forward, or freeze you in place. The secret is in the emotion you give the energy, if you demonstrate anger and spite, the energy will be similarly charged, and will flow through your muscles and wreck havoc on your keyboard, but if utilised properly, this energy can become your greatest asset.
Be salty, but don't be mad.
