At the end of the day, Gomah didn't even got played, he almost got everything he wanted. Degesu did everything Gomah wanted. It's just our Heroes has the plot on their side. I guess Arinsu will be the final final villain.
yeah I had no idea the last episode was supposedly so negatively recieved. It was fine to me, I dont really get the issues people have with the series, it feels like Toriyama had a lot of fun with it and its filled with a lot of cool animation and new lore for fans. I think people are getting too caught up in trying to predict where the series is going than actually enjoying it for what it is
We still don't know who the Demon Kings of the 1st & 2nd Demon realms are. Gomah might be the King of the 1st Demon realm, if it is the same title as the Supreme Demon King, but that has never been stated.
the 2nd realm has none. All the Namekians and Glinds left. All thats left now are the Megas and Gigas who i believe were stated to be left alone because they're so dangerous. For the 1st realm, you should assume it is Gomah because he lives there. And if it was someone else, they wouldve been in the fight already.
We're really neglecting the eye as an object that can change hands. Kuu and Duu combined and with the Eye? Or Kuu, the smart one, with the eye? He's resentful because he was overlooked for his role in attaining the Dragonball. Then, everyone has a much larger threat on their hands.
Nah Kuu wasn't resentful at all and if he suddenly becomes resentful it'll water down his established character. He was just happy he was able to help, shocked for a slight second that nobody realized his hand in helping but he was cool with it. He just wanted help his lil bro out.
My guess is that Gomah will put up a hell of a fight against Goku and co, but after he's beaten, Arinsu will steal the evil eye to try and augment her Majins further.
I'm hearing reliable leakers saying Gomah is gonna be a genuine threat, and will cause literal chaos and destruction. So, I wouldn't be surprised if he's basically Super Buu. Also, I think Gomah is something I call "contextually evil". It's not shown, but he's done a bunch of terrible things: 1. He was planning on keeping Goku and the gang kids forever (not caring how that would affect their lives). 2. He basically steals peoples souls (slowly) if they can't pay up. 3. He comforts Dende, sure, but he was basically raising him to be a slave. 4. Also, Gomah didn't seem to actually care about Degesu at all, as he even celebrating his defeat without really even thinking about it.

Degesu is captured, and Gomah already has the legendary artifact. If anything, Gomah NOT being the final antagonist would make invalidate the entire story. Degesu's main goal was to overthrow Gomah, same with Arinsu. Gomah is the one that turned everyone into kids. Gomah is the one that rules over the Demon Realm as a tyrant. He got the third eye, and is literally using it. Let's wait until we see him in action. For all we know, he could have interesting abilities.

I definitely agree with you on the aspects about the demon king 👑 and him not being to hardcore. I really hope that the majin boo brothers fuse together and become one powerful enemy.

But after seeing so many times this show has seen a problem and then refused to use it as a call to action, i don't think were in store for anything amazing. I hope what they end up taking from this is just how much fun that adventure bit was and go forward with more of that
It's already worse than "okay" after they randomly decided to make Shin's brother an utterly irrelevant character and a comic relief. Degesu should've been an important part of the series because of his connection to Shin... but he ended up being as "important" and those horrible copies of the Ginyu Force. For 14 episodes he did nothing. In episode 15 he showed some promise. In episode 16 they turned him into a joke after giving him the most generic dialogue in existence with Shin, his brother whom he hasn't seen for millennia. That fact alone and the pokemon getting the third eye because of luck already ruins the series. The only hope of it being "okay" or better is if Arinsu and her majins are the final antagonists. Which won't happen.
i absolutely need it to be revealed to gomah that the only reason goku and friends are even down there is because he essentially identified himself as a bad guy, kidnapped their friend and disrupted their lives. ffs they didn't know the demon realm was really a place until he went to them. i think that's funny, but its only funny if he realizes its his fault in the first place.

Arinsu having 2 majins and a dragonball have to be instrumental in the series finale, I wonder how the "Glorio is a mole" moment is going to play out, I think he is truly conflicted but since they been hyping it the whole series I expect Arinsu reveal his status as her pawn fairly soon. I really want to know more of her plan and motivations since Degesu is out. Gomah really , REALLY , needs to step up, like for the entirety of the show everyone have been hyping him up to "not be taken lightly" so I really expect his wizard powers be something else. I also remember how in the first village shown in the third Demon World his soldiers were stealing people's life essence, I hope that was a Chekhov Gun for something in the finale. I hope Gomah isnt' just a brute big monster like Garlick Jr. , there's so much potential and unanswered questions yet so I have high hopes.
They lack Ki Sense. Degusu seems to have some extra senses, but that's just enough for the Dao to tantalize him, but without him training that sense, he will never know anything. Compare that to his elder brother, the Supreme Kai of Universe 7, with his ability to extend his Sense across the entire Universe when he is in the right location and in the right mental state, and you see just how primitive the Demon World denizens themselves are. It honestly kind of confuses me how Daburah matured in such a shallow environment! I have to believe there is a deeply hidden martial society that just doesn't concern itself with the politics that Gomah is just completely ignorant of.
If Degasu escapes to universe 7, he may hold a grudge and perhaps use Goku's DNA along with his own to make Xicor? Veeeeeeery long shot, but could you imagine?
Are folks really saying that last weeks episode was the worst one? I liked it. IMO Nothing can possibly be worse than the episode where they fight a giant dog. Not even the future episodes that we haven’t even seen yet.
