Excellent coverage of Kannur in 3 parts. We really loved the 3rd series, the jeepride to viewpoint, beach and mangogrove. The sunset reminded us of our trip to poovar Island about 3 years back. The jeep ride reminded us of our recent jeep ride to Kollukumalai Hills Munnar. You should do this when you go to Munnar. We are looking forward to our Road trip to Kannur and Kasargod very soon. Hi, they charged 700 rs for mangrove forest and that's private... to go to the beach ok the other side of backwaters u can take the government ferry which is 10 rs per person
From kannur how much distance, how is road for normal car like alto, how much time may take to reach, can we park some where to take ferry for mangroves and beach, how to return after 7, safe roads back to kannur, please guide
Hi,,, it takes atleast 2 hours on a busy day to reach payyanur (Kavvayi backwaters) from Kannur, roads are good and pretty safe too in kerala for tourists .... Parking is not an issue unless its a long weekend... And restaurants are many but of Kerala style in many.., Mangrove forest & the sunset in beach beside is a must visit

Hi, I was telling that got ferry to the beach beside is very cheap but a great experience and private ferry may be costly , but walking around the mangrove forest will be fun n beautiful view 😀
