It is a pleasure to see how proud and happy Ole is . I am surprised how well he is structured. He understand that the journey is what's most important. I now trust him to restructure the first squad and the club, because he seems to trust the staff he surrounded himself with. They all have the club identity running through their vein. And this is what was needed! The man has earned our respect, he might not be a tactical genius and surely will make the odd mistakes on his journey but i am sure now that he will bring back the premier league title within the next 3 years. Because of the culture he is creating in the back ground and the way he has already restructured the transfer decisions . He is also not afraid to make the tough decisions like showing the door to the players with wrong attitudes and the ones out of their depth. He has the mental toughness and respect and love the club. I wish him all the luck. Respect Mr Ole Gunnar Solsjaer.
What a pleasant interview. Ole will be successful at Man united. This interview has shown me so much of who he is and his mentality. He understands Manchester united. He literally needs time and atleast 3-4 more transfer windows. Imagine a squad in Ole image. Young, vibrant, attacking, fluid, hard working, humble. He needs at least 20 signings like Pep, Poch or Klopp have had the opportunity to assemble their squad. I've seen enough from him as a manager to know that he is the right fit for our club. Players want to play for him and he is attracting the right type of player to his project.
would agree, and have even begin to think we may see the fruits of his progress much sooner than originally thought. I wouldn't rule us out of of European or cup glory this year, and recent performances have inspired belief that even next season could really see us pressuring City and Liverpool in the league. One or two STRONG transfer windows, like what we've seen so far, and this squad could be absolutely phenomenal once again :D
Top striker.. top bloke.. United Legend. Underrated as a player (or not talked about as much as some), his first touch with foot, thigh or chest to set himself for a chance is one of the best i've ever seen. Intelligent and Lethal.
The sharpest killer instinct i have seen, did not waste time with the ball. Hit hard and quickly, but very accurate. He is great at exploiting chances in defensive gaps, rebound ball. The legendary super sub
I've played football in the lower leagues in my home country. I've followed football since an early age and I can tell that Man Utd have something interesting going on. Their recruitment has been spot on since Ole Came in. Players have improved since Bruno came in. Ole has a vision, it might take some time but they've planted the seeds and they will reap them in the coming 3 or 4 years if they still keep going in the same direction. Slow and steady wins the race in developing a winning team. Respect coming from a Liverpool fan.
i wouldnt say the recruitment has been spot on as the board runs the club like a business, the right word would probably be the scouting. The main reason the board brought in bruno last january was because rashford, pogba and mctominay were injured. over the summer, ole wanted a centre back and a right winger, he got neither of those things and the same in the most recent january transfer window. i really do hope that we reach the levels liverpool have hit but i just feel like ole is fighting a fight with one hand being tied behind his back without the backing from the board, obviously you could say that we are challenging for the title this year however thats because liverpool and city have dropped of and ole has done fantastically well in turning the season around as well as staying somewhat consistent. ole's project is working and it takes time for these things to become fruitious but i am very happy about the progress under ole and is definitely a few players away from competing.
After watching this interview I’m rooting for ole no matter what, because the man knows how to be a man Utd he’s got the dna . Give him time like we gave sir Alex the time
Ole is super humble. His finishing would go up against anyone. He was unfortunate that he was at United during a time where they were very heavy with Strikers in the squad. If he was around in the early 90s some recent times he would have got a lot more games/goals. Even still he made a legendary impact. Top pro. Hope he gets success.
great interview, ole deserve a lot of credit for what he is doing, now i see the manchester united back the team i love since i was a kid, so thanks for the podcast i ' m from Brazil so sorry if my english is not the best
I remember this guy Damian Hughes book The Barcelona Way. Happy to see him digging into United and what our DNA is with Ole. I've always fully backed Ole on what I believe he is well on his way to achieving here, success. From day one when I noticed our club following the club models of cash-rich clubs especially ones who have sudden investment through ownership, I thought 'Jesus weeps, United have drunk the kool-aid'. I noticed with Ole he was rectifying the mercenary culture immediately. Excessive aggressive club transfer policies facilitate a mercenary culture undertone that most fans aren't honest with themselves about. But I'm an armchair manager and in Ole I trust. I'm so happy he's getting rid of that mercenary culture that was in the club, getting back to our DNA that will hopefully not only bring silverware but ensure we dominate. I know with Ole we're well on our way to dominating through representation as well as silverware in the league and Europe for multiple seasons. Not just pinching a title through an aggressive quality haul in the transfer market; getting back to being Manchester United.
Ole will gain a lot of new fans and huge amount of respect after this interview. Truely loves the club and sees it as a pleasure to have the job of his dreams. I believe he’ll be successful at United, and hope he achieves what he deserves 🙌
Excellent interview. Ole was a joy to watch during his playing days and he demonstrates here why he is such a great choice to lead the Reds. All United fans should be proud that he understands the traditions of Manchester United and does his best to lead the club back to the top. Back the Gunnar!
His love of Marcus Rashford shines through. We as United fans, must appreciate the immense talent of mason Greenwood and the sublime Anthony Martial. But most importantly, we should appreciate the character of Marcus Rashford, awesome human being.
What a genuine, hard working man. I am seriously impressed. We’ve only scratched the surface of Ole’s mind and can already tell what a great manager he will continue to be.
A great interview! Ole is a very humble man, a rare quality in humans. Honestly, I didn't have any hard feelings on him I just didn't like what Man United board did to Mourinho - they had an agreement and didn't keep their end. As a manager I think Ole's doing great and hope you continue to grow. Best of luck Ole - from a football fan & Liverpool.
What a refreshing interview - Ole was a fabulous player for United and is now building a reputation as a good manager, glad the Club have backed him, and hopefully he'll be given time to build. He comes across so well and proves he's a very modest and honest man. BRILLIANT
That ties back to a reason why Ole wanted to come back and play after his first knee injury that left him out for almost two years. His father always talked about his wrestling career but it was before Ole was born or old enough to remember. So Ole wanted his son Noah to remember him as a player and when he got injured Noah was only 3 years old. So Ole had to make it back as a player so that Noah would be old enough to remember him playing and scoring so that it wouldn't be the same situation as Ole had with his fathers wrestling.

Great stuff! High quality questions and equally good responses. Nuggets of info about Ole's upbringing, his take on failure, and mentality of the current crop of players are the icing on the cake.
thats why i love man utd. to be a family..... the small detail when jose the manager, i see in player, there is an ego, when someone get goalscore, they just celebrate like "it was me", "i'm great", but when i see united back then, like yorke or cole score or anyone, they celebrate with the one who give assist, just like say "youve made it, your good assist, we good" there is respect, togetherness. i love you ole, to bring back that value.... next year we'll win premiere league again!! *finger cross

This one hour just validated my trust in Ole and I'm excited about how his leadership can bring United on track to the glory days :)
Hi Guys I am Sulayman United from Gambia the smilling coast of Africa and now living in Italy. I am Man united fan since i knew myself as a person and its not love to the manager or players as well but the Club itself so who ever is connected to that am your fan. Manchester United is one of the greatest clubs in the world and since our icon, sir Alex resign we have been strugling and rotating from all the angles and nothing comes out it. But i am always happy with our directives and believe that we're on a right direction now Since some many changes have been made from management to the footballers as well. The faith is always there and that's why we have to join hands together grow up together. Ole is the one who has learn a lot from sir since he was a footballer and a manager now, they have a similary direction from low to high and from poor to the best. Now its in our own hand to stand for each other and look forward. This podcast is very importand by sharing ideas and esperiences. Great Thanks to everyone of you job well done and keep it up.👍👍👍👏👏👏👏

This was the first episode I saw from The High Performance Podcast and it only proves why Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been successful at Man United. Some fantastic insights as to how Ole used to think when he played.... He never thought the goalie made a great save but he knew thag he didn't catch the ball on his foot properly and knew that if he practiced and adjusted the shot by a fraction it'll go in next time. Thanks to this interview, I've made it a point to watch the RVP, Rio & Sean Dyche interviews.
So glad this showed up in my feed, what a great interview! Absolutely the best interview I've ever seen with Ole, and as a 52 year-old United fan, I learned so much I didn't previously know about him from it - I never expected that! Subscribed instantly and looking forward to watching your other content.
It’s fantastic to watch and listen to this at the end of the season 20/21 and understand that everything Ole has said in this interview hasn’t been lip service. It’s so clear that he is the right man for the Job and the club is no starting to enjoy the fruits of his leadership. The players are clearly buying into the United way that he understands it to be. The football has improved, the league position has improved as well as points tally. He has taken us to the europa cup final and hopefully his and the players hard work is rewarded with bringing a trophy home for the fans!
Finally a post-alex team with a culture which is visible on & off the pitch. Ole is doing an amazing job so far. Now we need to step up and be consistent 🤗
I am not sure about the intent of the club, the lack of transfer activities and giving players like Jones and Mata contracts knowing that they offer nothing to the team. I think Ole is lenient towards the British players instead of scouting talent around the world. Plus he barely gets involved during the games where our players are dropping off during the game. I will like to see him with a team of good 16 squad members and see how tough he is on none performers... I wish him the best considering the club is so poorly run at the moment.
@@sakhilentshangase4430 we don't have to keep on spending big bucks each year that's real madrid or city not Manchester United. Jones has spent good years early on but lost his way now but Mata has been consistently performing coming off the bench whenever given a chance. Also, it's just his style to not be on the touchline right now. It hardly matters anyway, what matters is his control over the boys which i think he has.
What in interview! Guys fantastic podcast. I love Ole’s sense of ownership and self scrutiny. He also comes across as quite driven to make MUFC the best it can be. But my standout will always be ‘Team First’ . I think we can finally se that .

Watching the game the other day, and seeing Ole walking down the steps at Old Trafford, he looked every inch the Manchester United manager, something only Jose came close to before his final season. It has been great seeing him growing into the role, unlike all the others who have tried to tame the beast. I hope he has a long and successful career as our manager :)
Superb interview, I’ve watched ole since he joined as player but that gave me a real insight that I hadn’t before seen. Honest, answers each question articulately and with conviction.

Big respect to ole he has grown in to his role as manchester united and looks every inch the man to take us forward he knows what he wants and has created the true united aura back. He knows what hes doing hes given the likes of lingard chances but I think he knows like the rest of the supporters which players will be moving forward.
Baby face "assasin" quietly n ruthless , SAF "style" but even for me more like "silentkiller" OLE leadership!!! This is United mentallity,🤘🔥👊, players need to be fight! Must fight for this Man United OLE team🔥
Definitely the right fit for Man Utd. People were too quick to judge. We expect immediate results at United, but some things take time. There were a lot of flaws in our transfer strategy over the last few years. Solskjaer has come and changed all of that. No player is bigger than the club! He only wants players who want to play for the badge and not motivated by money. He is exactly what we need. Klopp was given time at Liverpool and Ole more than deserves time at United.
Mourinho did not fail, did not win the Champions ok, but won a Europa League final, and there were players who were not professionals and boycotted his work
@@ItsVespucci José did decently with the first team players he had but he failed as a manager. He's a first team head coach, that's all he cares about, he's not a manager. Ole as a contrast is managing the whole club from top to bottom. He doesn't simply hand a list of players to Woodward like José and LVG did and wait for things to happen, Ole gets involved in everything and makes sure that everything is done to his satisfaction.
This is a fantastic interview guys! Keep up the good work. Just sitting here listening to ole and you guys talk about man utd really make me trust him more as a manager, I hope he's doing good at man utd

I really love how he has managed this club, and I always believed that games are won in the midfield, signing Bruno Fernandes was a massive signing, family Portugal call him the best at his position, United is back, and Ole has done a great job, he understands the culture and philosophy of being a United player and I believe that's what Ole is stressing to his team, Liverpool will be the team to beat in the next few seasons, but United is nipping at their heels,
watch what ole does and not what he said, he said he valued Ashley young and he's gone just like that, jones has had a mystery injury, smalling is on loan, rojo is gone, lingard isn't even on the bench. he's ruthless. I'm sure behind the scenes David and Maguire have been told to up their game.
Lingard, Pereira, Rojo, Jones and Smalling are on their way out this summer for sure. Ole will never mess about over what the club needs and what it doesn't. It's either his way or the highway. This summer will be critical to Ole's plans for United for the future ahead. Hope we bag top 4, and win the two competitions we're in and give ourselves a platform to kick on next season.
The bit about the process of scouting potential targets was a nice insight. Other than asking Ole the question on every united fan’s mind (about signing Jadon Sancho 😉), it was a fantastic podcast. Great questions.
To think SAF literally rebuilt man united and how following his "blueprint" is the right way to go for in terms of achieving great things for this club proves how great he was

Highly agreed
would agree, and have even begin to think we may see the fruits of his progress much sooner than originally thought. I wouldn't rule us out of of European or cup glory this year, and recent performances have inspired belief that even next season could really see us pressuring City and Liverpool in the league. One or two STRONG transfer windows, like what we've seen so far, and this squad could be absolutely phenomenal once again :D
Agree 100% with every viewpoint you shed. Well said brother
I totally agree!
Aged well
Top striker..
"You don't get to the top by being a nice guy" - the assassin in him speakng😎
Seu Ingles e muito bom Joaquim, eu entendeu tudo. So pouco erro, seu Inglês e melhor do alguma pessoas do europa!
Your English is perfect mate, better than our Portuguese!!
Right on 👍👍👍
Your english is great - Man U!
You speak English better than the level of my Portuguese.
Beautifully written mate really enjoyed reading while I listened makes me feel good knowing some fans gotta brain.
great comment, sir!
Neves is perfect but unfortunately that’s never going to happen
Neves is not a bad idea at all
I need more United fans like this in my life
Ole is at the wheel.
Last season 3rd, this season 2nd, next season ....🙏
Ole will gain a lot of new fans and huge amount of respect after this interview. Truely loves the club and sees it as a pleasure to have the job of his dreams. I believe he’ll be successful at United, and hope he achieves what he deserves 🙌
Excellent interview. Ole was a joy to watch during his playing days and he demonstrates here why he is such a great choice to lead the Reds. All United fans should be proud that he understands the traditions of Manchester United and does his best to lead the club back to the top. Back the Gunnar!
Well said sir
I enjoyed every minute of this! Well done guys :) Ole is such a great person. As a norwegian I couldn't be more proud!
Hmmmm yeah, about that
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 funny this
I can see the very bright future for us with you Ole. Something special is being prepared.
Such a good interview. Love Ole's honesty. He definitely deserves more time to finish what he's started
BRILLIANT
Interviewer: Olé I know your dad was a successful wrestler. . .
Olè: He said so, anyway. . . 😁😁
He'll not wrestle a CHAMPION'S

Now we as supporters is to keep supporting our players and manager. Stop abusing them on social media, especially Andreas. I know he's lacking skill and talent but he's our player ffs. We need to keep giving supports like positive messages, comments to our players.
I have finally met a human!! Especially on Insta..I go out supporting Andreas and I face some heat. He has been average but not bad...He has got the quality and if his decision making improves, then he will be a valuable back up! Good comment pal!!
@@tejaspiyush7 people give hate comments on how he sucks like that is exactly a cyberbully behavior but in their mind, it's okay because he's a footballer. So disgusting and embarrassing as a fan to abuse our players.
I was wondering what happened to the supporters as I was always wondering about this.
I thought exactly the same thing people calling Jesse Lingard names, this is from Manchester United supporters, I've never known anything like it. It doesn't seem right and it's not like the support used to be. Glad other people are saying this to.
He’s actually got all the talent in the world. Skill and technicality as well. It’s too bad he’s got the decision making of a child though 🤷🏾♂️
Even as a United fan,I can't deny that our fanbase is definitely a toxic one considering how some of us made fun of Lingard just for underperforming for this season.Ffs,imagine having a family to take care of and other life problems and these so called 'supporters' just bashed you without knowing what really happened behind the scenes.Sometimes,I felt pity for Lingard although I admitted that he never was the same he used to be a few seasons back.
I needed this Ole. Not just football and ManU, but more on life, failure and hard-work. Best wishes my coach. Go go Manchester United.
This guy is very likeable. Ole you don’t only have the X factor for goals , you also have the IT factor for Man Utd fans. Ole at the wheel . Keep it up and take the team to the next level.
Supported united since I was 6 now 40, loved Ole as a player and think he’s done a fantastic job (3rd). United being United we should be winning silverware but one step at a time. I’m sure we’ll kick on next season and raise the level and consistency. If we come within 10 points of Liverpool that is progressing in my book. Ole Ole Ole.
Ole will be the United manager for the next 10+ years. As long as the higher ups in the club support him,he'll be known as one of the greatest managers ever when it's all over.
Ole...Never think that you weren't the star. You are our legend my friend. I held my head in my hands before you banged one in. "We love you solskjaer weee dooo. We love you solskjaer we dooo..We love you Solskjaer we dooo....ohhhh Solskjaer we lovvve you."
He’s transformed the club and what a great attitude. Pure class.
Legend, great player, lovely guy and he should have NO doubters regarding his position as manager, onwards and upwards.
Ole= Living legend, what a top man.
Honesty, work rate, trust, and loyalty.
If you're a manager at your workplace, you would need to drill these into your team. What an interview!
i have learned more about OLE bu most importantly i have larned life skills from this
I’ve a funny feeling there will be a few current Utd players watching this and recognising it’s them he’s talking about....

@@marmedli9124 let's see and not speculate. From my point of view, MU is still in a bad shape.
Great stuff! High quality questions and equally good responses. You see glimpses of Ole's vision in the press conferences, but this is the first interview I've seen where he has gone in-depth to lay out his ideas. Nuggets of info about Ole's upbringing, his take on failure, and mentality of the current crop of players are the icing on the cake.
thats why i love man utd. to be a family.....
the small detail when jose the manager, i see in player, there is an ego, when someone get goalscore, they just celebrate like "it was me", "i'm great",
but when i see united back then, like yorke or cole score or anyone, they celebrate with the one who give assist, just like say "youve made it, your good assist, we good" there is respect, togetherness.
i love you ole, to bring back that value....
next year we'll win premiere league again!! *finger cross
Ole is pure class. Such a wonderful man!
He is the son of United father (SAF).

When podcasts and interviews have questions that make the interviewee just stop and ponder about what/how to answer, you know you've got a good set of questions (and not something they have heard a thousand times).
This one hour just validated my trust in Ole and I'm excited about how his leadership can bring United on track to the glory days :)
What A Gem Of a Human Being. Class🙏🏻
Great Thanks to everyone of you job well done and keep it up.👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
Hope to see you at old Trafford one day, love reading stories about fans from different cultures and how they found their love for united
It's fans like yourself that make Manchester United the biggest club in the world 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿

Much love brother! We stand UNITED, forever ❤️
Ole is one of the nicest ppl youll ever meet.
Best podcast out there for premium football content straight from the horse's mouth. Amazing quality. Thank you Jake and Damian.
Imagine what'll happen if Ole wins the treble again as Manchester United manager? Omg!
Well..the doubters should listen to this..the question of is Ole the right man for the job has been answered with this... fellow United fans.. please support Ole and our players..if they make a mistake, analyse if they were trying something good and don't simply criticize.. just be patient with this lot.. the good times are not too far away now

Ole’s values and attributes epitomise what I want to see in a United manager, top guy, in time he will drive us back to the top
I love Olé, he’s so humble 👏🏾
The best podcast and I love Ole!
22:55 and there's where Mourinho gets it wrong he hasn't adapted with time
First High Performance interview I've seen and got to be the best of its kind about right now. Great questioning, conversation flows really well and really allows you to get to know Ole and his style of management. A real relaxed atmosphere seems to be created as well, great work!
What an Amazing human being , best of luck
Big respect to ole he has grown in to his role as manchester united and looks every inch the man to take us forward he knows what he wants and has created the true united aura back. He knows what hes doing hes given the likes of lingard chances but I think he knows like the rest of the supporters which players will be moving forward.
Baby face "assasin" quietly n ruthless , SAF "style" but even for me more like "silentkiller" OLE leadership!!! This is United mentallity,🤘🔥👊, players need to be fight! Must fight for this Man United OLE team🔥
Well said bruv! In Ole we trust!!!
This is why Moyes, Van Gaal & Mourinho failed. Man utd is unique...you need to feel the DNA and makeup of the club to run it. Top class interview.
Completely agree!
Jose did not fail im afraid mate though his last year was not great
Hence they cant build that foundation for they always targeting trophies
I bet ole practice meditation his positive attitude towards everything is extraordinary....feed on the negativity prove the criticizers wrong....and he takes full responsibility for his actions it's amazing we are blessed to have him as our manager GGMU top 4 is ours
gotta say Ole has been proving me wrong lately, must admit to be being in the Ole out camp at the end of 19 or beginng of 2020...................
Excellent honest and open interview, good job guys.
He's a good man who knows who he is and what matters. Everything else flows from this.
Ole, building and learning along with the team, great new times on the way.
I really love how he has managed this club, and I always believed that games are won in the midfield, signing Bruno Fernandes was a massive signing, family Portugal call him the best at his position, United is back, and Ole has done a great job, he understands the culture and philosophy of being a United player and I believe that's what Ole is stressing to his team, Liverpool will be the team to beat in the next few seasons, but United is nipping at their heels,
agree
He's actually way smarter than I'd given him credit for. Reffing poorly to suss out hot heads. Brilliant.
He also speaks the best English of all the foreign managers ( better than some of the Brits too) Love this guy ❤️🤩👍🏼
watch what ole does and not what he said, he said he valued Ashley young and he's gone just like that, jones has had a mystery injury, smalling is on loan, rojo is gone, lingard isn't even on the bench. he's ruthless. I'm sure behind the scenes David and Maguire have been told to up their game.
Well said
Lingard, Pereira, Rojo, Jones and Smalling are on their way out this summer for sure.
To think SAF literally rebuilt man united and how following his "blueprint" is the right way to go for in terms of achieving great things for this club proves how great he was
I absolutely always loved him, now I have more respect for him...GGMU...our manager
The way he’s so laid back and chilled makes me so happy as I’ve been supporting him since day one.
