    Was rooting for Dinny. Had heard Magee was rough on co anglers.

    Uh... not so fast. These guys didn't have all the gadgets and state-of-the art equipment of todays anglers. If you limit todays tournament angler to only a flasher for depth, they would suck. Most of the younger guys can't read the water and pick apart a section of lake like the old school dudes. Apples and oranges.

    this was the 1st and only Bassmasters tournament that needed a fish off to decide a winner (That I know of)

    none of these guys could even compete in today's BFL/Club Tournaments. LOL they'd get blown out by guys fishing from the bank...

    Back when Jeff use to be a really nice guy. We were good friends...at least I thought so. His life really spiraled downhill when he cheated on the best most loyal woman around.. Ms Kathy. He cheated on her with a crackhead stripper and lost everything. But I will say this....he was a standup guy at one time whom I admired and looked up to. So sad.

      I think the point was that its a hard lake to fish; they didn't expect it to be that difficult for the anglers, hence probably why bassmaster has never returned to White Rock Lake.
