It's crazy, sometimes you just need to see somebody do something a lot so that you know it's possible. I shot from half court in AAU, but if you missed you were sitting 😂. Now I take 25 foot jumpers with ease, also helps when you start lifting every week.
@@ChampeeMusic don't quote me. But somewhere along the way, when I first started lifting in my early 20s. I realized that having strong lats made it easier to shoot. So think about Dame Lillard's body type. I load my lats when I shoot. Which is also great for having convincing pump fakes. And even if nobody bites on any fake, I can load my lats, fake, then rise up and shoot from there. Core strength and lat strength are important. And also being able to use your legs to launch. I tell people my shot is a mix of Dame and Steph but I mean form wise not percentage wise. I just left a court and I played best of 5 with a guy from half court. I wish I measured it. But I was the only 1 to hit more than 1 shot outta 5.
