Nice job, Joe!👍I use a toothpick to remove excess foil from the a-pillars and other areas. I first use the xacto to cut it, then toothpick to remove it. On small areas where I lose bmf, I'll touch it up with a molotow chrome marker. It's almost the same color of chrome.
I do tend to use the blade in harry situations too much. These A pillars gave me fits. I will definitely be using the chrome pen for small touching up.
Very interesting series. Thanks for taking the time to do these. Have you tried to do this using a scalpel instead of an Xacto knife? Just wondering if the sharpness of the scalpel would work better. Just a thought.
@@modelbuildingcorner If I'm not mistaken, I just watched Justin over at J Hart Model Works so a similar tutorial on how to do BMF. I'm pretty sure he used a scalpel. He also burnished each piece really well before attempting to make his first cut. Check it out, it might help with the rest of your build.
Your Camaro is really coming together.
Thank you Steven.

Haven’t tried it my model is ready for BMF not sure if I am, purchased a scalpel just for it. So I keep watching videos to learn the ins and outs.
Thanks for watching.give it a try it's not that bad.some spots are tricky. But it's easier to redo than markers and paint

Thanks Larry, I haven't used or have a scalpel. I did struggle at times trying to get a clean cut.
