Your pieces of pottery remind me of the Japanese kintsugi method when a piece breaks. I’d say it applies to what you are doing as you’re making the pieces more beautiful and useable.
What a great craft room you have. Collecting all those pieces, some amazing finds and repurposing them is so precious!
Enjoy your time away at Disney 😊

@@sandieedwards5230 thank you so much for commenting. “Kintsugi’ that was the word I was looking for! I love my craft room - though I do need a more comfortable chair. I’m enjoying planning the repurposing of my found objects, it’s new to me. I’m currently watching a course I’ve just purchased on altered bottle art dolls …… so watch this space 👀👀

I'm pretty amazed at all the stuff you found Sharon.
We had a kiln at home and a ton of molds, also had a kid size pottery wheel, was fun making stuff.
Probably 30 years ago I took stained glass classes, the lady who taught them went out of business just before the shutdown due to Covid. I already had all the supplies with the exception of the grinder, so yep, am ready to start up again soon. One of my journaling friends wanted me to teach her, so she picked up all she needed too, but it's a summer outdoor project/garage project, don't need ground up glass all over the house, lol.
Hobby Lobby is the place to go. JoAnn's is 2-3 times for expensive compared to Hobby Lobby's prices. JoAnn's also seems to always be out of Tim Holtz, at least here in Northwest Indiana 😊

@@carolm9451 thanks for commenting Carol. You need to start up again with your molds, wheel etc … I’m having great fun with the new direction I’m heading . I’m planning some altered art bottles too , when I’m back from Florida (we go on Monday!) my daughters are hardcore ; the app is downloaded and they have our days planned! Looking forward to my Hobby Lobby trip!

@@beadivinevintage1796 I'd love to, but after Mom passed we gave the molds and kiln to a friend of my twin, I have a tiny house, so no room for that. I did love doing it, and even took porcelain doll making classes. I have two finished, life size, one resembles my son as a baby, my friend who's a beautician cut the wig to look like his hair, lol. I have two more that are tall, thinner dolls, more of a Victorian style I would say. They just need to be put together and clothes made, really enjoyed making them.
