@@jjroat5294 couldn’t believe they didn’t take Apple Pay ! Come on USA 🇺🇸 this is the 21st century! Had to put lots back and just use what cash I had! My card was back at the hotel. So we try again Monday on our way to airport. Do Michaels carry more Tim Holtz than Hobby Lobby?
Yes, Michaels carries more Tim Holtz products than Hobby Lobby. Some say that Hobby Lobby doesn't carry as much Tim Holtz anymore, and that Michaels and Joanne Fabric carry the most.
@@jjroat5294 thanks for this x
@@beadivinevintage1796 XXXXX 🌹🥰
@@beadivinevintage1796 yes agreed they are Neanderthals! Hobby Lobby also does not use price scanners in my area…the cashiers ring in every piece by keying it into the register…so very 80s when I worked retail! They are very behind the times…in my opinion it has to do with their corporate culture. But in my area in PA the Michael’s have much less TH products than HL….and Michael’s does not put it on sale like HL. I go to Joanne’s instead because TH is almost always 20% off on sale. Safe travels, Sharon! Glad you are having fun!!😊
Honestly, great video 😉 I'm gonna have to remember the metal wire trick for binding the molds, as that's something I often struggle with but haven't found a good solution for until now! Wonderful stuff, thank you 😊

Amazing, you did an awesome job Sharon, they look great! Have a fun trip to Disney, it's been more than a few years since I went, but always a fun time for sure 💜💜💜
@@carolm9451 thank you for your lovely comment x I’m going to Disney with my grown up daughters - they are so excited!
So funny Sharon, I also had a mold making kit as a child, lol, you're bringing back such fun memories. 🥰 It was a blue gel that set up, I did my hand, so it was quicker and more flexible I'd guess, and came with plaster of paris, you mixed that up and poured it in, was just a one time use. I've never seen that pigment color stuff. I took and old kitchen table and put prints of all the bands my son has been in starting in high school, and pictures of him and the pup, then covered them and the table top with clear epoxy resin, it turned out awesome, he loves it. Oh, and yes, it was expensive, lol. 😱
@@carolm9451 I do love your comments however …. I really don’t like resin on my hands . I remember those kits too. The table top would have looked cool!
I'm pretty amazed at all the stuff you found Sharon. We had a kiln at home and a ton of molds, also had a kid size pottery wheel, was fun making stuff. Probably 30 years ago I took stained glass classes, the lady who taught them went out of business just before the shutdown due to Covid. I already had all the supplies with the exception of the grinder, so yep, am ready to start up again soon. One of my journaling friends wanted me to teach her, so she picked up all she needed too, but it's a summer outdoor project/garage project, don't need ground up glass all over the house, lol. Hobby Lobby is the place to go. JoAnn's is 2-3 times for expensive compared to Hobby Lobby's prices. JoAnn's also seems to always be out of Tim Holtz, at least here in Northwest Indiana 😊
@@carolm9451 thanks for commenting Carol. You need to start up again with your molds, wheel etc … I’m having great fun with the new direction I’m heading . I’m planning some altered art bottles too , when I’m back from Florida (we go on Monday!) my daughters are hardcore ; the app is downloaded and they have our days planned! Looking forward to my Hobby Lobby trip!
@@beadivinevintage1796 I'd love to, but after Mom passed we gave the molds and kiln to a friend of my twin, I have a tiny house, so no room for that. I did love doing it, and even took porcelain doll making classes. I have two finished, life size, one resembles my son as a baby, my friend who's a beautician cut the wig to look like his hair, lol. I have two more that are tall, thinner dolls, more of a Victorian style I would say. They just need to be put together and clothes made, really enjoyed making them.
Beautiful style and all the little bits are gorgeous!❤

Hey Sharon, love it, turned out awesome 💜💜💜 I actually watched this a few days ago, but the "W.T.A.T.W." notation in the Valentine card was driving me crazy, lol. I did some research and found nothing.... then I texted my uncle, he used to be a professor at the university, so a pretty smart guy in his late 80's, of course in electrical engineering, not "secret messages", lol, but ya never know, and wanted to see if he had any thoughts on the meaning. He had no luck either. Then texted my oldest sister, she does genealogy, and asked if she ever came across anything in research she does, she's checking, but nothing back yet. It seriously is something that's private between just the two of them, but again, I just wanna know, lol.😂🤣😂 Now, writing this, it just came to me, 🤔I need to give her the info on the journals I have that I told you about, where I could find nothing, even though I have his name, DOB, city and state, work information, as well as the girl he was interested in. My sister also worked for the police dept, so can often find information open to the public through databases there. The other interesting thing on those journals is they were bought from an estate sale, in IL, where the girl lived, so yep, I need to know, lol. 🤭 Enjoy your day!!!
@@carolm9451 that’s interesting what you say Carol. I’ve been thinking about my future journals and plan to use more authentic ephemera- I thought it would be good on my videos to give a bit of the history. Very nice, your mom's envelope turned out awesome, and seriously... who is Stan??? 😂🤣😂 One of my journaling friends bought some journals, she is going to use them for "glue books", if she ever gets them back from me, lol. I've been trying to read them when I have time, but his handwriting, although nice, is very small, I put on two pairs of readers and need natural light if possible to read them, with my eye issues. I have his full name, date of birth, area where he lived and the name of the girl he's obsessed with. In his journals he always asks God to help him make her see she was meant for him. Off hand I can't remember the company he works for, it's like a door to door salesman company that's still around. He definitely is obsessed, to the point of stalker scary. He has their life together planned, including wedding, the wedding night, number of kids, where they'll live, just kinda crazy. I did some research on his name, can't find anything, thought I'd find a newspaper article and court case against him at some point, jeepers, lol. I don't have the first journal, but there are 5 more, so at least 6 in total. I'm to the point that he bought a plane ticket to Chicago to surprise her, but got no further. Again, it's hard to read and I don't have a lot of time. I did google searches on both their names, as far as weddings, obituaries, court cases and facebook, just find it interesting, especially on him, since I have all his information, that I can't find anything. As far as her, she probably changed her name and left the country, he sounds that crazy. If I get any information at some point, will keep you updated, lol. I haven't read any of it in at least 6 months, too busy trying to organize all my "junk", lol. Enjoy your day!!
I agree - it’s so interesting to read these finds from the past and learn about lives of others. But ….. who is Stan! 🧐🧐 I look forward to hearing more of your research. Carol and thank you so much for commenting xx
How do you do bind a book like this with more than one signature?
