@This username a 1969 boss 429 ran a 7.1 0 to 60 and a 14.1 second quarter miles. Thats slower than every current stock v6 sedan(camry, altima, accord) lol. I love that car tho I have 2017 mustang gt
Back in 1972,my aunt bought a regular TORINO. It had front disc non power brakes. It would make a unique noise upon letting the brakes go. It was powered by 302-2v. It had a/c &auto tranny. Even after break in it was a PIG. On the highway @ speed you could actually feel the decrease in power when you turned the a/c on. For the $$$ she paid I guess she got her $$$ worth. But, it was reliable. She clocked miles galore.
great vid man i love starskey and hutch its great i am watching it as i am talking to u lol ,i would love one of these all u need now is the red cherry light ;)
From watching the show, a lot of the interior shots appeared to be be well optioned cars with cruise and wood grain on the wheel like yours. Your stance of the car and tires-appear to be the correct size. A lot of replicas I'm seeing don't have the correct stance or tire fit. Now if only you had the black interior. Nice car!
IDK my 2019 stock Jetta with a tiny 4 cylinder and a small turbo has more get up and go than all the v8 anythings I driven and its been alot of cars since 1982
Love the old start up sound.
Pretty cool ride ..Starsky and Hutch..
It's crazy how fast newer cars are even compared to the hopped up older ones. I love the older cars though.

Great video! Beautiful car!
Great video have a 400 in my truck that car must fly with 325 gears the acceleration looked good beautiful car
0-60 in 6 seconds in quick by today's standards. In the 70s that must've been ludicrous!
The bad-assery of this Torino is unequaled.
Matthew Lopes ford torino un moustrooo
Yea, it's an old car, you need to step on the gas pedal to set the automatic choke when stating it cold.

LOVE THE GARAND TORINO BUT ENGINE NEEDS A TUNE UP AND A MANUAL OR A HURST SHIFTER...IT WOULD GIVE IT A BETTER ACCELERATION....
Cool car. The engine looks like to be sound. Is that stock?
@BigMustang73 your Torino is Hott! Hope to get an GranTorino Elite so I can do that.
+Mayne CMD Davis I believe the Elite version is what the television show Barnaby Jones used.
Seems to be treating it very gently.
