    guys, kyokushin karate is a fantastic martial art. the 100 man kumite isn't about knocking out all of your opponents. it is an ENDURANCE test, both physically and mentally. if any of you have ever sparred in a striking art before, you would understand that it is hard trying to keep your hands up to block punches/kicks or to strike because you will be very tired to the point where your body won't let you block or punch even if your mind wants to. props to judd!

      big respect for judd but there are fighters of mma as nate diaz and company who are in my opinion toughest that judd reid, in mma combats you have to protect your entire body and here when someone falls is considered as if he has losed. tell that to any bjj and he will laught about it. anyway respect for judd reid as a great master of karate.

      You should look into Judd Reid's dojo in Australia. He makes the black belts run 25 km, the first 5km in the ocean. Then complete their kata, then sparr kumite.

  • @kenmasters1472
    @kenmasters1472 5 лет назад +5

    There’s no doubt Judd Reid is one badass karataka, and to fight 100 man is no easy task, however to my understanding the founder of kyokushin karate the late sosai Mas Oyama, his version is to win or draw every fight even if you win 99 fights and lose the last 100th fight, it is not a completion of the 100 man kumite.
    17 has completed the kyokushin 100 man Kumite
